Burger King in North West Leicestershire

A long hard working day beautifully rounded off by the service of one young lovely lady at Burger King MOTO. Dressed smartly, service with a smile and willingness to answer my questions about certain products; ANUKSHA gave ‘customer service’ a new meaning! Thankyou very much for the perfect interaction. If there were more people like Anuksha in customer facing roles, life would be better! Very deserving of good credit and any applicable reward/recognition please. Will definitely remember for my next visit. Thanks Anuksha x

Very slow service unhygienic place i have seen staff cleaning and after that without washing starts cooking 0 cleanings proper unhygienic

Lewis reallg served me very well, I've had a stressful day with the coach heading to Nottingham and delayed us and made us take a break and finally landed in burger king donington and Lewis really served me well, with excellent customer service and fast food delivering. Thank you very much Lewis he deserves a pay rise🙏🏽

Arrived at 22:00 staff advised issue with the drinks machine so no meals at all, they could serve fries and burgers but you had to pay for them individually so more expensive in an already expensive experience also there are plenty of drinks that don't vend from the soda machine so why you couldn't buy any meals at all was.puzzling. I suspect that the drinks machine just needed the syrup changing but that was for the morning shift. Suddenly with 30 mins til closing, no more burgers! Alas what terrible fate has the broiler suffered, nothing it was being cleaned early so the underpaid staff could bounce (fair play when you don't actually get paid to close properly) but it impacts the expensive experience of eating at moto Burger King. The food was ok, the customers disappointed,.service poor. Must pay better and keep better staff in doing so.

Staff rude and abrupt. Food average at best and over priced. Charges 30p for a tiny sauce and doesn't have salt, staff advised me to go to KFC to get salt. I wish I went there for the whole meal. Burger king 1 star vs KFC at least 4 stars.... my mistake, bad choice on where to go.

What’s the point in having a Burger King app if you can’t use it in store,because I couldn’t use the app I went next door to kfc.

Supposed to open at 7am, we had to leave at 7:20am as we were fed up of watching the employees stood around talking folding tea towels while they could clearly see us stood there waiting behind the still closed shutter. Very poor customer service.

Maybe it was because it was quiet but we got our tripple bacon cheese and chicken sandwich meals within a couple of minutes and it was one of the best BK meals we've had, it was around 13:30 on a Wednesday.

Rude staff. Cold food. No recipe given so not sure what ordering.

I was stood at the desk for 10 minutes before even being served, as I was ordering my food the person behind the counter was very rude and short in her replies. I hand her my driver's voucher and she tries to tell me that she can't accept it as it hasn't got the barcode? I've been stopping here for nearly 10 years and they have never had a barcode. I then wait another 20 mins to receive my food which by the time I received it I was getting prepared to set back off on my journey, so I had to rush the food down me, speaking of rushed, for a place that takes so long to prepare your food, it is just thrown together and was only just acceptable in warmth when I got it. The food tasted alright however I felt a little let down with the cool burger.

The food is mediocre at best and the customer service is terrible.

Went after work and they still served us even though they were closing. Although they would only give us one option 🤷‍♀️

I brought a double whopper meal, my bun was soggy and they never put any onions in my whopper and when I tried to call it just keeps disconnecting so overall I'm not a happy customer £20 on a soggy flavourless burger

The service is not the best and you can't even ask for a coke when you open the hamburger and it's so continuous that you can hardly eat it, there's no sauce

Bought a child's meal but they failed to inform me that they had run out of kids toys therefore paying for something I didn't receive. No offer to compensate. The chips were a bit old too.

Stopped for some Doritos Flaming Hot Chicken Strips. Paid the obvious service station premium. It was a Friday afternoon, and surprisingly quiet, only 1 person ahead of me. Looked like there was only 2 staff so may have struggled if they had a sudden rush. Service was fairly swift. I used the self service machine which was easy to use. The area was airy and clean.

When I arrived there I was surprised to see such bad reviews. The staff was friendly and helpful, even tought there was nobody and they were very slow to make the burger. We ordered 2 menu, went home and when we arrived we found out that both orders were wrong, my burger was smaller than the one I ordered and my friend ordered a double cheesbacon XL and got a burger with chicken. How can you make two wrong orders if we were literally the only two customers at the time??

Haven't been here for years, so thought we'd go. Had to wait for awhile as they had just opened. No breakfast menu. The burgers were almost cold. Although the shakes were excellent.

Visited hear again and all staff were so friendly especially dean, shannon however was awful again she glared at me from the back of the restaurant really hurt my feelings she really needs to take a leaf out of deans book!

Usual BK food...except no ketchup!Tables are filthy despite place being only quarter full.

The burger was could, when I requested for ketchup and mayo they said we don't have it!!! and you can buy BBQ sauce!! It's not believable Burger king doesn't has free sauces!!!!

Shocking service, I stood at the counter for 10 minutes then when i asked if I could order they refused to serve me as they were getting orders ready. You can't treat customers like that, it's a motorway service area, you should have enough staff to cater for busy periods and you certainly should know how to speak to customers, they seriously need some staff training

Bread was very dry with my burger ! It fellto pieces in my hands. Tasted alright! Only complaint was dry Bread.

Worse burger king I ever visited, staff is rude and the place is an absolute tip. Save yourself the hassle and go to KFC or Greggs, just avoid. Don't say I didn't warn you

Understaffed. I've waited 40 minutes today for 2 standard menus. There were only 3 employees in total, including kitchen staff. Overpriced compared to the vegan options in McDonald's. Taste is 4/5. There are 4 vegan options currently

Not many employees working at the time of our visit, this led to part of our order being prepared first and then having to wait for the remainder, part of order arrived only warm. May have been a one off, not the best visit on this stop.

Clearly haven’t had a delivery for a while, limited burger availability, no soft drinks or even bottled water and the burger bun tasted like toilet paper it was so dry!

Shambles - no milk for coffee, no soft drinks apart from water or Capri sun, no paper napkins. We had to return to the counter 3 times as they'd missed out items. Plus the food was cold.

Had to place order at counter as paying with food vouchers. Waited 25 minutes just to get served and it was only me in the queue. Asked the boy if anyone was taking orders and he said that they can't take orders yet until they clear all the other orders (even though 7 people placed orders at the self serve machines after I was there!) Terrible service.

Horrendously slow staff they spent most of time talking instead of working, but I can't say that I blame them as they were only kids themselves, average age of probably 18/19 and kids will play when not supervised correctly. I am not making excuses for them just stating a fact. The food its self was at the standard I would expect..... very good

Absolutely appalling attitude from Sam H (manager). I merely asked if I could swap the offered water from my vegan burger for a regular drink. Sam H extremely rudely stormed out of the back and flatly refused with not even an apology. I politely explained that I was not vegan but wanted to try the burger. He very rudely explained the reasons and offered no solution. If he was calm and collected with an apologetic manner things would have been fine. Unfortunately, Sam H lacks basic emotional intelligence, has a very rude mannerism and an inability to interact with customers. A poor choice of manager.

We received fantastic service from the Burger King staff this evening, in particular Dean. They were so kind and really looked after us, even going across to Costa to fetch hot drinks for us as their machine had been turned off. We were cold and tired having waited on the hard shoulder for an hour and a half and their thoughtfulness and general pleasantness (even before hearing our plight) was so genuine and heart warming making a difficult situation much more manageable. Our burgers and chips were really delicious and there was very little waiting time for a freshly cooked meal. Couldn’t fault it. Thank you so much.

Sorry Burger King, but very poor. Service was very slow. I waited 35 mins for a burger, chips and a coke. My wife decided to get something from Costa, she ordered and paid for hers and had eaten it, before mine was even served! (Burger King don't seen to be able to keep pace with McDonald's and other outlets - the casual attitude doesn't help) .

Really long queue and slow service if you're thinking of stopping for food - Don't At least they're better than KFC who are simply not taking more orders - staff Don't know why just been told to say that.

One poor staff member working front of house brilliantly holding it all together. But the food was underwhelming and didn't fill a gap.

850 on a Friday evening and they want to shut. No burgers being cooked and no soft drinks. Why when you get north of the Watford Gap revert to the dark ages. Wouldn’t mind but they were the only hot food option open . Come on Moro sort your services out

Waited 40 minutes only to be given the wrong burger. Took it back and the added bacon I was supposed to get in the beginning was absolutely stone cold staff insisted this is how it was supposed to be. I was made to feel stupid infront of everyone. Will definitely not be returning here!!

This Burger King can get very busy at times and it can take a very long time to get your food. Plenty of seating, will use again.

It's supposed to close at 10pm on a Saturday yet I'm here an hour early and nobody is here..!!! Please stick to your opening and closing times its not fair that I drove 60miles and find out your not for service and shut...very hungry and disappointed..🤬

Been here a few times. It's great, but can be slow at times especially if you suddenly have lots of lorry drivers trying to order. But overall, it's good. I think the problem is that this place is understaffed. The few times being here I only saw a maximum of 3 people working here. This may also explain why the bins are always full (unless that's the responsibility of the guys maintaining Moto as a whole).

No ketchup, dry burger, cup without a lid. Would go to another services

Literally the slowest fast food restaurant ever, over 30 mins to get our food order. Understaffed, they were trying but mediocre food at best. Would avoid and travel to next service station.

Really slow service, 40minutes from ordering on screen to collecting food. Food was barely warm. Non existant customer service. Missing sauce in bag when we opened it. Will not visit again

I have been in many fast food places and this has been the slowest I have ever seen. We had to wait 15 minutes for our order, when this is a highway service place where you are supposed to get something quick and carry on. People in the queue started to desperate for such slow service. Unbelievable their bad organization. Then they didn't even have ketchup for the fries, that was the end of me.

Soggy onion rings, extremely salty chips with half filled packets, oreo milkshakes weren't mixed with icecream like usual chain standard so very runny and no frozen element to them. Understaffed. Appalling for the expensive prices. Masks were not being worn properly do what is the point of staff wearing them.

This is my first written complaint ever... Visiting restaurants for many years( I'm 38), complained just twice, but personaly directly in a restaurant-to swap a portion, which I paid and didn't want a complementary-get a meal for free as many people do. Because I had take away whooper, left a services, that is why I had to write it. Burger King is my favourite of fast foods of this kind. I'm not a picky customer, easy get through if meal is not like presented on advert(lets say true, that in fast foods is reality to advert like a sci-fi), don't mind if it's not 100% like it should be, but whooper I had worth to mention to let your staff know, they should be more careful. Have a picture, but this site doesn't allow to stick a picture as additional info. Todays whooper was "fitted" with small pieces of meat, little bit of salad,tomato,onion and mayo just in a middle. Sorry, but poor burger today. I had plenty to compare with, so I am sure about what I'm writing. I am not sorry for this complaint because staff who prepared that did deserve it.

Asked to order a plain hamburger and was told they only have a limited menu and are only selling the double burgers and whopper burgers. After all the other stuff is removed to make it a plain hamburger, it would not be worth paying £4.70ish! Just out to make more money and only selling bigger burgers!

Closed at 23:45 , despite on Google updated opening time(only 21 hours ago) say open until 00:00

Told the guy are we OK waiting for 1 more person and ordering, he said yes no problem and then 4 mins later we go to all order and he says sorry we're closed now.... Still had 15mins until closing time.

A tale of two cities. The Moto services themselves are surprisingly good - clean loos, a light, airy atrium food court etc. But the Burger King itself is run-of-the-mill. Still, the shakes are fine.

This is one of the good burger kings. Burger king in UK doesn't seem to be a sure thing when it comes to food quality, many times I've suffered from cold tasteless sandwiches, particularly in services. But not this one, this one mostly delivers good quality food. Although it's in a service but it's close to places like Loughborough and Shepshed, where there isn't any other burger kings.

Tried the 100% no beef burger the rebel whopper. it's ok but at over £8 for the meal it's just too expensive

Stood at the till for fifteen minutes before giving up and going to greggs as the staff were to busy serving the customers who were using the order screens who obviously take priority. When the lady bothered to come back to the till I was informed our order would go to the back of the que.
