McDonald's Lountside in North West Leicestershire

Firstly food was ok not the best Macdonald's, wrong order but rectified quickly. Toilets were dirty but the restaurant was clean and so was the outside space, parking was good and staff friendly.

Good clean and excellent food. No change. Just excellent staff friendly and helpful very customer focused. It has not changed at all. Still brilliant staff great especially Kristina 💯 customer focused. Still great

Milkshake machine works as of April 2024. Worth 5*, because nothing was wrong whatsoever.

I ordered a cheeseburger with no cheese and got a cheeseburger with cheese. I went to challenge the incorrect order. The lady behind the counter noted the mistake but did not apologise. She called the shift manager and I asked can I get a quarter pounder with no cheese and I said I was hoping they would make it gratis given the mistake. He charged me the difference still with no apology. They made the new order and I asked with no apology. The manager said pardon, I said none of you have apologised for this original order being incorrect so the shift manager and the server replied me with attitude well we are sorry. To which I said oh I am 1-star reviewing you immediately so here I am making it known.

Staff member was very helpful and friendly. Place was spotless and service was quick

Slow so Slow, ordered x3 chips and a wrap of the day took 20 mins. We were number 24. Number 37 got their food before us. Food fine, service not good.

Usual soulless venue off a main road. Only visited while charging car.

Not a very good place waited nearly a quarter of a hour from paying at the machine ..i had a big mac meal burger looks like it was thrown together and looked like it been opened there is no pride in presentation also a mix up on the drinks. Some one from McDonald's was doing interviews in the sitting area next to customers not good practice so u could over hear candidates details .interviews are private in my eyes ,

What can I say.... if you want a quick bite or a quick drink, then this is a place to visit. Food has declined over the years, not fast food, even if your order before going. Food does not look anything like pictures, false advertising, and overpriced for what you get. Please cook a home meal, so much better for you, avoid taking young children as they need better nutrition and healthier meals important for their development.

Arguably the best Maccies in the Swad/Ashby area.

Waited 20 minutes for our food. Staff standing around doing nothing. Went up twice to ask where it was eventually arrived. The food was tepid/lukewarm. Could not be bothered to complain and have to wait yet again. Ate what we could and left. £34.94 down the drain. Never had a bad experience in a McDonald’s before but this was extremely disappointing- would not recommend this branch to anyone.

Always good service. Update on my previous review. I wouldn't bother using the mcdelivery app for this store may times I've had items missing and have had to either reorder or go to the store. I order the delivery for convenience not to have to sort out missing items when it arrives! Going in store isn't a problem they are friendly and courtesy.

Had a drive thru. 3 meals. No consistency. My fries were cold, limp, and so disgusting I couldn't eat them.

most of the staff are very good and polite with a smile. Young lady name of Emily first class service everytime. Young Irish man name callum is very good same service as Emily. they both need rewarding for there special effects.

Typical Mac D's was busy but food was ready quickly and was lovely staff were great too. As usual very very busy around lunch food was ready quickly .

Had a good family meal, which children especially enjoyed (and so did the adults!) convenient location just off services road.

Used this McD’s a fair few times after shopping in Ashby, on the whole food is good but if you get a burger that been Uber the lights a bit to long it’s not so good. Latest visit was for breakfast - love the break fast bap, but have also had the burgers. Find it bizarre when at times get asked to park in the collection bays for a simple order with nothing unusual on it. Staff friendly.

Omg!! This place is a joke🤣🤣. When joe I believe ran the place as a manager rectified stuff , he was fantastic who the hell is running this place now needs to wake up and have some management training. Things ran well some times didnt. But he would sort the bill joe and rectify things! I rang up as my order was messed up! Not a surprise for ashby. Rang up spoke to a really bad manager. Who didnt care. Avoid this Macdonalds! Go to abbleby magna much better. Ashby needs a lot of training especially management. Rom good luck!

Usually very nice place to go, I ordered on the app and went through the drive thru. There was issues with the app and it charged me for my coffee and took my 1500 points off me. They couldnt refund me at the restaurant i was told. Said had to do it through the app. Which I have done. Customer service tho is appalling. Its been a week and no contact and so hard to get it sorted

It's a good enough outlet within walking distance of home. Service is good but we have on occasion had items missing from order on arrival at home. Check your order.

Food was not bad but (woke) stuff attitude was far below of expected standard from franchise like McDonalds.

McDonald's is a fast food chain so obviously you get what you pay for, However on this occasion, I got cold chips and a very lopsided luke warm burger.

Good, clean and fast McDonald's. I had a healhy grilled chicken salad with a vegan burguer. All very good. I ordered in the machine which did not printed the recieept, which I need for my expenses claims, but the staff printed in the main till. The place is not too busy and have a good parking...free for 90 minutes.

ALWAYS CHECK YOUR ORDER BEFORE YOU LEAVE Whenever we have used this branch the order is always wrong and we end up having to either go back or call up. When you call up they give you a reference to get the meal next time you go and sort it out quickly which is the only reason for 2 stars instead of one(doesn’t help when your hungry at the time)

Just spent £4 on pancakes that weren’t put in, but apparently there’s nothing they can do passing the book too Uber eats, driver must have jumped the counter and packed the food in the sealed bag wrong. terrible customer service, wasting my day calling to try and get a refund👏

Friendly lady when ordering, double sausage and egg with extra cheese was hot fresh and made right. The hash browns were awesome fresh hot crispy and not oily. Only draw back was no oasis. Great all round.

Their prices are starting to get beyond a joke. McDonald’s used to be a go to because it was cheap! Now it’s bordering on Five Guys money for their garbage burgers.

Prefer this one to the ones nearby. Usually very quick service, just odd time when the drive through can get a bit mad.

Its McDonalds... not worth the money yet we all go! Update: 4 years later. Paid £3.19 for Triple cheese burger. Tasteless unless you like cardboard... and is the size of boiled potatoe.! Absolutely shocking value for money!

Just your standard macdonalds. The hot chocolate was not good. But it rarely is anyway. I don't understand why they can't make a good hot chocolate anymore.

I would of given this mcds a 5 star had it not of had drinks and mcflurries out if order again....the burgers we're boxed and not wrapped and actually resemble what they should look like, unlike 99% of mcds where they are squashed,falling to bits and half wrapped ! Apart from being cold,they weren't bad at all

It's a regular McDonalds drive through and restaurant. You know exactly what you're going to get.

Convenient place to stop on route from Nottingham to Stratford-Upon-Avon. Restaurant was full, but very clean, service was quick and food was fresh and hot.

One of the best mcdonalds around the area, good service and quick Edit: been a couple of times recently, each time there has been issues / missing items. Management are friendly and resolve the issue.

Can’t believe they can’t get an app order right, get home and our order is missing 5 items. Don’t offer a service if your staff can’t get it right, resulting in another trip back to get missing items. Not the first time this has happened but with so many items missing that have been paid for it’s not on

Were to start. So I ordered for me and my family 20 mc nugget’s,there was only 16 in the box ordered I ordered two Coca-Cola’s with no ice and when I got them they had icing and then when I got my fries I had the dregs of what was left not happy would not recommend
