Costa Coffee in North West Leicestershire

I do not go to Costa coffee. I only walked past. 🚶‍♀️

Lovely staff and a decent cup of coffee

Small coffee place in town centre in Coalville. Has a variety of tea, coffee and other sweet drinks like hazelnut more special drinks with small snacks and desserts to eat like a small chunk of rocky road and a bit of cake. You can take the drinks outside and there are seats outside to eat there, self service and the usual drink to me is a 'I just call it this' babychino, or basically a very small hot chocolate with choice of marshmallows. There is toilets and you have to ask staff for code. They are very friendly and I recommend to go for a simple small snack or drink.

A tremendously friendly Costa with fantastic staff and cleanfacilities- nothing is too much trouble.

Lovely staff, friendly and cheerful, always ready for a quick chat. Oh yes, and the coffee is really good too !

I wanted a cup of tea and the staff at Coalville costa would serve me they hide in the back and last time I went in there they kept me weighting so on my way out I took a drink of diet pepci because they kept me weighting for 1hour

Consistent with Costa, friendly staff, good coffee. Clean and tidy. Did not order food.

Staff were friendly but didn't know how to use the till. Slowish service. Lots of messy tables.

Typical costa, food drink etc. Been here multiple times and the service is always great. Even when they have been training new staff in the past its always been good. Bit more pricy than other coffee shops about but not by much.

Cosy and warm inside lovely staff and a very delicious steak and cheese toastie.

Nice place but a bit small tables too near the counter yet space further at front to put them, caused a queue which blocked access to the toilets and sugar station ect bit badly thought out. Lovely coffee as always and server's pleasant. Unfortunately the table staff clearing up was miserable she never smiled once! Let down the rest I'm afraid. I've been in better costas

Needing a cuppa, we called in Coalville Costa. Everything came up good from the off. Speedy ordering, quick service from polite assistants. Clean surroundings. Decaffeinated tea available and pointed out to us on the tray. Tables cleared so a choice of tables became available to incoming customers. Outstandingly clean toilets - thank you for that alone! M&S food available. A neat little range of flasks and mugs/cups for sale on the shelf near the pay point. On asking if I could possibly take a small jam jar, the assistant offered to wash it out for me. An outstanding branch of this chain, others could visit and see the standard of service on offer here. Thank you.

Such a joke to have food ordered and accepted, to be told it is being prepared for it to then be cancelled after an hour wait. Bad customer service and as a regular customer I will no longer be using.

Sadly the standard of coffee is declining. Very difficult to get a really good cappuccino these days.

Coffee good told to find a table got one inside we were there 30-40mins and in all that time not one table was cleared of dirty pots as a member of staff sat outside and another one turned up and joined her.

Always love a costa so trying new locations is good very nice here.

Ordered 2 fajita wraps for me and my mrs and only 1 was delivered. I rang up and they said I have to go through uber eats if I want the wrap again. So I go on uber eats and they're now trying to charge me £2 for small order fee and £1.79 for delivery charges. So I rang them up and the reply I got was "you can come and collect it". IF I WANTED TO COLLECT MY FOOD I WOULDN'T HAVE ORDERED THROUGH UBER EATS WOULD I? Terrible customer service skills and terrible simple order reading skills. Whoever handled my order clearly needs to be taught how to do their job properly.

The review which states no masks and no table cleaning is absolute nonsense. I visit pretty much every day and everyone wears a mask in the queue- even those that don’t have to because they’re eating in. The girls clean the tables regularly but if people are queueing out of the door Im guessing they were behind as they were busy. The girls are friendly and efficient and always remember regular customer orders. Nicola is a marvel how fast she works. Definitely the best Costa I’ve ever visited. Long may they continue.

Glad to find a standard coffee shop as I needed tea and light lunch quickly. Knowing what Costa usually do, this branch was an ideal find in Coalville. Well stocked with food ready for the lunchtime rush, I cheated slightly by ordering a plain croissant and porridge, with a pot of tea. The croissant was heated, plenty of butter supplied. Honey was available to accompany the porridge. Great tea too. All good and filled the gap well, thank you. Seating easily available in this sizeable unit, the surroundings were rather dark to the rear of the shop. All clean though. Tables cleared swiftly after customers had left. Staff all pleasant, happy to be at work and also to help customers as and when needed. A mum with an occupied pushchair and baby in sling was helped by staff as she negotiated the baby change area. Yes, I will come here again as it produced the goods as anticipated, with staff who clearly want to give good service - and they do.

Lovely young ladies (staff) working today, smiley and polite, which definitely makes one feel welcome. Coffee is good too but staff conduct certainly makes all the difference.

I do not like their coffee its tasteless. I enjoy a American but Costa is very insipid. Sorry. However I do like the bacon rolls.

This is a good place to grab a great drink, both hot or cold. The usual high standards you expect from a Costa! The staff were excellent too. Outside seating available for the nicer weather too.

I am not a fan of their coffee quite bland I think. Better coffee in some of the competition coffee shops. Nice variety of snacks and cakes etc. Pleasant atmosphere and nice staff. Provides daily newspapers for use of customers. Good seating with big window onto shopping area. Shame the coffee is so tasteless and bland.

Service was good. Nice and quiet for me to be able to have a meeting. Had to clear my own table before I sat down though which was annoying especially as it wasn't busy

Disappointed to be charged for 1 Lindt chocolate but otherwise pleasant experience

Have noticed that they do have a limited selection of sandwiches seem to offer more toasties and wraps but I'm sure there is something for everyone if hungry. It is all one level which is great for those with mobility problems plenty of seating but soon gets full. There are toilets one of which are disabled inside. The only down side is the entrance door it can be very difficult to open especially with food and drinks in hand and wanting to sit outside or anyone in a wheelchair. But it is somewhere to go and chill.

The place is good, however. Advertising some new drinks but dont have stock to make them. Seating area outside could be expanded, as sometimes gets very busy and nowhere to sit. Staff are friendly, some of them could be more professional. Coffee itself tastes better in other Costas, please review how staff are heating the milk. NEVER in 3 years have asked me if I have a costa card. Some room for improvement.

Tends to be quite busy. However, I do love me a good old cup of coffee or hot chocolate, so despite the business during peak times, the drinks - and chocolate twists! - are worth it.
