I almost want to gatekeep this place but it wouldn’t be fair! It is so delicious, reasonably priced and the staff are lovely. Highly recommended.

Incredible authentic Chinese food at an amazing price. So glad that Chop Chop have been able to bring their amazing food back after closing their restaurant a few years ago. Highly recommend the unlimited banquet to enjoy all their delicious dishes.

We stumbled across this place whilst trying to find somewhere to eat on a Saturday night. They had one last table and we dived in. The owner was so so welcoming and super helpful, recommending what to try and explaining how the menu worked. We’ve done countless Chinese/Japanese/Korean BBQs but never one combined with a hot pot. Fabulous food! Lovely atmosphere. Would definitely recommend and would absolutely come back next time we’re in Edinburgh

Great option for anyone who needs to eat gluten free, as a coeliac I had a great meal and experience here. We were craving British Asian takeaway food and it definitely satisfied the craving! Service was friendly and quick.

Came across this place by accident on our way to the National Museum. The place was jam-packed, which is always a good sign. The spicy Sichuan hotpot was absolutely incredible, I could eat it every day forever. Blew my friend's head off with the spice, but if ever anything was worth losing your head over, this would be it!

Amazing, will definitely visit again. Lovely meat, lovely sauces and really helpful staff who helped us pich and helped us cook the food in the hotpot/on the grill.

Restaurant doesn't exist anymore unfortunately

Picked this restaurant because of the strong visual appeal and it did not disappoint with the colourful floral and black themed decor throughout the restaurant. Service was fantastic, strong party vibe, creative cocktails and smart integration modern and chinese crusine. As a Chinese, I hope that the chef can reduce the salt and oil in the food, allow the ingredients to show their flavour (since the proteins are fresh and should be the highlight). A nice place to celebrate birthday and gathering with friends.

Lovely redtaurant with a huge variety of good which was set out in a buffet style. Lots to choose from and catered for different diets.

Reminded me of my trip to Japan last year around the same time. Really nice and cosy atmosphere and great choice of Japanese dishs and drinks

I walked into this restaurant spontaneously with my friends, and I couldn't have been more impressed. From the moment we stepped inside, we were greeted with warmth and hospitality that set the tone for an incredible dining experience. The food was absolutely delicious—every bite bursting with flavor and prepared to perfection. The atmosphere was equally remarkable, striking the perfect balance between cozy and vibrant, making it a great place to unwind and enjoy good company. However, what truly stood out was the exceptional customer service. It was, without a doubt, the best I’ve ever encountered. The staff went above and beyond to ensure we felt welcomed and well taken care of, which made a lasting impression on me. In fact, my first experience was so wonderful that I went back the very next day! And I know I’ll be returning again soon, as there’s still so much more on the menu that I’m excited to try. This restaurant is an absolute gem, and I can’t recommend it highly enough! A huge thank you to the team for all your effort and hard work in making both visits so memorable. You’ve set the bar incredibly high, and I look forward to coming back again soon!
