Incredible authentic Chinese food at an amazing price. So glad that Chop Chop have been able to bring their amazing food back after closing their restaurant a few years ago. Highly recommend the unlimited banquet to enjoy all their delicious dishes.

First time back at Chop Chop at it's new location and just WOW! Food is just as good, if not better than I remember. The banquet is outstanding and amazingly good value for money. The new location has a completely different vibe from their restaurant and is not as convenient as city centre however, the Ballgreen tram stop is just a 10 minute walk and it is well served by buses. The staff are great and it's 100% worth making the effort to visit here. Lovely to chat with the fabulous cook, Jian, and her family. We will definately be back!

Fabulous, authentic and freshly cooked cuisine. We arrived as a group of 6 and decided on the Festive Banquet menu at £28pp. This meant that we shared 18 dishes, all of which were superb. It’s an unlimited banquet so you can order more of any dish - but it’s a lot of food! Particular favorites were the aubergine course and the green beans. The dumplings were also superb and were either boiled or fried but both were amazing. Super friendly pub and really pleasant staff made for a fabulous experience. We met the chef - who also cheffed at the previous locations. Just simply an amazingly fantastic meal and I would recommend to anyone

Outstanding food and wonderful service! The food was as good as we remembered from the old, pre Covid Chop Chop on Morrison Street. Very different surroundings as the dining area is adjacent to a rather noisy (it was Saturday night!) pub, but it was still a fantastic evening. Go for the banquet and make sure you’re hungry! An enormous variety of dishes, literally just out of the wok/pan. Not your msg/battered chicken Chinese, think more dumplings, fresh cucumber salad to make your mouth water, succulent sticky ribs, fried garlic aubergine…. Fantastic. Service was fab too. Despite there being no cocktails on the menu the lovely bar person made some for our group. Lastly, one of our party eats a gluten free diet and eating out is generally not a fun experience. However this was very different - chef came out to discuss details before she started cooking and came to check everything was ok. Every dish on the banquet, other than dumplings, came out as a gluten free version. Outstanding.

This place is simply amazing, quite unique delicious Chinese food served in a traditional cosy Scottish pub. We heard about it from some locals and are delighted to have tried it as the food was really high quality and professionally cooked. The taste was also much cleaner in comparison to many typical Chinese. We will definitely return again for more!

Me and my daughter went in together to eat this. The meal was expensive compared to other places we went to, and the portion was also smaller than the previous ones. Both of us had put in quite a few vegetables and other things (specifically 4 rice cakes and pak choi) however later on we realized that we never received the amount we ordered. We only got 2 pieces and I've noticed that from reading other reviews, other people have experienced this problem as well and when confronted about it, the staff seem very rude. There are definitely better places to go than this, disappointed.

Without hesitation, the best Chinese restaurant I have ever eaten in! Don't be fooled by the unassuming storefront, the food is absolutely DELICIOUS!!!

Family run. Very authentic. Most importantly, great taste. We had the rainbow dumplings of course which is a great way to try the range of dumplings. Also the braised pork belly was tender and flavorful. Great with rice.

This restaurant was massively hyped on social media sites and we were looking forward to the dining experience. Unfortunately the food was bland and unappetising. It was also priced extortionately. Two soft drinks a starter and three mains was 86 pounds! Also did not like the waitress insisting that two mains was 'not enough' (it was) and the fact that there were four of them in such a tiny place. If you are a hipster and want to believe the 'Emperors New Cuisine' then go for it...
