I almost want to gatekeep this place but it wouldn’t be fair! It is so delicious, reasonably priced and the staff are lovely. Highly recommended.

The food and the service is excellent at Peter’s, it’s family run and they are so warm and friendly, the service is outstanding and the prices are really reasonable, especially for Leith! The only reason I didn’t give it 5 stars is because of the lighting, it’s fluorescent lighting and it’s so bright it feels clinical. If they could solve this it would be my new favourite haunt!

Excellent quality home made food by real Chinese and Filipino cooks with great Greek additions as the family also lived in Greece for many years so all food cultures are authentic. We will be back.

This is the spot for a warm, comforting hearty meal that reminds you of the homelands. Peter's Food Hub's Filipino food is top notch. Everyone who works here is friendly and welcoming, you feel like family when you walk through the door. Not only is the Filipino food great, but so is the Japanese sushi and the Greek Kebabs that my family also love too. Peter's Food Hub is almost an indefinite visit when we are in Leith!

So glad I stumbled upon Peter's Food Hub when searching for sushi in Leith. We went for a sit-in, menu is really varied - we tried the Dragon Rolls, Pork Belly & Rice, Wakame Salad and All Salmon Bento. All the food was outstanding. Seen someone get the Chicken Gyros wrap, also looked great so will be heading down at lunchtime later this week for that! Inside it's small but cozy and PJ (who does the front-of-house) was super friendly and powering through a really, really busy period (think they are on all the delivery apps and orders are constant). Hopefully they'll do order and collect direct in the future (save giving the apps a cut). Will definitely be back and recommend anyone to try it. They might be really busy so just relax and let the food come when it's ready.

Hidden gem 💎 ✨️ 💖 in Leith Hubby enjoyed it so much he took me the very next day, and I loved it too. Mahoosive portions, super reasonable prices Everything is homemade. Lovely, friendly service from the family who run it. They have mixed heritage that amounts for the wonderfully diverse menu. Absolutely delicious 😋 The gyozas are to to die for! 🥟 Plenty vegan options, just ask.

Worst dining experience in Edinburgh. The pig's feet were too salty, and the waiter said, "I don't know, I didn't make them." Finally, she was asked to report back to the chef and owner. She turned around and said loudly that the whole hotel could hear, "They said the pig's feet are too idle." The waiter came back and said, "He said he added too much salt when making it." I asked "What then? What's the solution?". She replied, "That's what he said." Didn’t I say it was too salty?” She began to deny that the chef said more salt was added and said, “He only said it was good.” Then she said, “Maybe it’s salty, maybe there are other reasons? ". I asked "What's the reason? If it's salty, you can take it to the chef to taste it." She continued to deny that it was salty, and repeated that the chef only replied "ok". The call ended. Excuse me, the chef and owner, why didn't you deal with it after you admitted that it was salty? Ask the waiter, you said "maybe it is salty or there may be other reasons", what is the reason? Is it because the customer has a tongue problem? Such rude and unreasonable waiters and chef-owners are shocking!

Staff and atmosphere were lovely, food was underwhelming and not worth the price... I had three appetizers for nearly 40£

Best sweet and sour pork I’ve ever had. Slight mix up with the order number, totally my fault, many thanks for sorting it out. The food was incredible, very glad I waited!

Without a doubt the worst Chinese restaurant I've ever been to. Apart from the host, everything was awful about the place. Our waiter was curt, hurried and rude. The food timing was appalling. The food itself was tasteless at best and offensive at worst (the duck rice and beef were hideous). This place is quite frankly a rip-off joint. If people want nice instagram photos, I recommend Harvey Nics, and not some lousy Chinese gaff with paper blossom and naff cocktails overflowing with smoke, but not alcohol.

This restaurant was massively hyped on social media sites and we were looking forward to the dining experience. Unfortunately the food was bland and unappetising. It was also priced extortionately. Two soft drinks a starter and three mains was 86 pounds! Also did not like the waitress insisting that two mains was 'not enough' (it was) and the fact that there were four of them in such a tiny place. If you are a hipster and want to believe the 'Emperors New Cuisine' then go for it...
