The best restaurants serving Chinese food in Scotland

Lunch time dining. When food arrived, which was fine, many black flies started swirling around the table. Brought to servers attention. She switched on an extractor fan (not an insect killer) so that did nothing to address the problem.

I ordered a takeaway last night the 7th of December 2024 from the Pearl Palace. I was looking forward to the curried beef, fried rice, and Chicken balls done in batter. I so wished i had gone somewhere else. The meat was hard and chewy and the only vegetable in the container was onion, lots of it. The curry had no tase whatsoever and the Chicken balls were doughy batter. The whole lot was thrown in the bin as it was truly awful. I would never ever recommend this restaurant to anyone, it was just terrible.

Got a takeaway. Very good. Lovely king prawns. Delivered on requested time to the caravan park on the outskirts of town.

Normally we have had a good experience from the Panda, but tonight was disappointing. My wife didn’t get the meal ordered and I had ordered a hot Thai curry that had little or no spice and for a vegetable curry had very few vegetables. First time we have been disappointed.

I’ve been going to this Chinese for years and it’s still one of the best, only wish they would open up restaurant again as I prefer to sit in rather than take away.

Food just had zero flavour, so so bland compared to other Chinese restaurants in the area.

I had ordered from this place and it did not disappoint! For all tourists who come to Thurso I highly recommend you take a look at this place as it really is something else! The staff are absolutely amazing, polite and so welcoming! With the food being just as great as the atmosphere it creates. For those who absolutely enjoy Chinese takeouts on days you feel like you don’t want to cook, you should look at the menu with its large variety! Would definitely order again!

Tried all of the Chinese takeaways in Clydebank and this has to be the most economical very large portions very tasty, with a choice of free extras after £18 spend.. all meals with prawn crackers.

We bought pork fried rice and chicken chow mein. Both were very dry and were not enjoyable.

Great chinese but dont get why a chicken chowmein alone costs £8.90 but u need to pay another 2.90 for the noodles😂 end up costing £11.80 alone!

I've had the same experience as Andrew, We used to phone our order before collection but they don't start making it until you arrive an pay for it. Not sure why they take orders for collection over the phone at all, food is great though.
