The best restaurants serving Chinese food in England

I just moved into Bristol and wanted to have Indian to cure my hunger, so I had ordered dinner from this place and 2 of the 3 dishes I had ordered had long strands of hair in it. The worst part is I found them as I was chewing and pulled it out of my mouth. Really disappointed by this.

Decent place but the food is just alright - nothing special. Service was great and atmosphere was nice and quiet.

Great beers and friendly staff. The small amount of food we’ve had was also good. Based on that, we ordered beers for a friends birthday prestent on line and collected them while’s there. But you charged for postage even though we said collection and you had them ready when we came in. We explained this to the manager at the time, and emailed, but no response to the email and not exactly helpful while we were there. We’ve still given 2 stars, as the place was busy and you had limited time to help, but the advise to deal with the shipping company was clearly wrong, and we’ve had nothing from you since.

The food came out so fast, amazing kind and friendly service too. The food was incredible we ordered the Kung Po Chicken (attached photo), beef ho fun noodles, twice cooked belly pork and the pork and cabbage dumplings. All of it was so good!

We ate early and the restaurant was quiet, which was fine with us. It began filling up before we left. We chatted with the staff and got excellent service. Food was very good.

I have been using this Chinese takeaway now for 2 years and we travel 6 miles to buy food always brilliant never had a bad meal, they only accept cash but the food is lovely 👍

Very warm welcome but the two young people were very unsure about the food when asked questions. When the food was collected, most of it was lovely, albeit smaller portions than our usual Chinese takeaway ( but Sun Wah is a bit cheaper as expected for smaller portions). However, the one negative was the king prawn balls in batter had not been properly shelled (we expected the tails to still be on) but after eating just 3, I found each had pieces of shell so could eat no more. They also do not accept card payments, just cash. Such a shame as the rest was very tasty. We will stick with our regular takeaway in future.

Visited on the 10/10/2024. Early about 1630h. Nice quiet, clean place. Good service, the food was excellent, Singapore Noodles, Sweet & Sour Chicken, Salt & Pepper King Pawns, Fresh Orange Juice, Bottle Of Chinese Beer. Clean plates, lovely. Just over £40. Definitely worth a visit. I will definitely will be back.

Very unhygenic and poor service. They dont like to speak english to you.

Special Curry. Not Special at all. Some onions, a few small pieces of meat, 3 prawns, swimming in a watery yellow liquid which tasted of nothing. Disgusting really

After 20 mins of wait I got served this for £5.80p I would imagine the only people who buy this is Liverpool fans who are drunk
