Food was amazing and very tasty. Service was first class - our waitress was so friendly, enthusiastic and helpful. It was our first visit and will hopefully be our first of many. Thank you for a wonderful dining experience. It was up there with the very best meals out we have ever had.

We (Party of 8) really enjoyed our meal with you. The staff were very tentative, the atmosphere was great and the food was amazing! We will be back again.

I visited Rock Salt for the first time with a friend and can now understand why I'd read so many rave reviews about it! The restaurant is modern, clean and cosy, the staff are super friendly, and the service and food was excellent. As a vegan I particularly appreciated all the options I could choose from. I thoroughly enjoyed the whole experience and will be back!

Enjoyed a great night out at Rock Salt this week. The service was excellent. The menu was an interesting mix of Chinese and Indian dishes and we tried a selection of both. The vegetarian dishes did not disappoint with the chili paneer and cauliflower manchurian both stand-out dishes. Atmosphere is relaxed and the staff are friendly and appear to be enjoying themselves almost as much as the customers. Highly recommend a visit.

Table was ready. Drinks order taken within minutes. Then food ordered. All arrived quickly. Beautiful food. Great service. And a free desert for the birthday boy . A wonderful experience. We will return. Thank you .

Absolute favourite restaurant! The lamb shank is a must, as is the king prawn chettinad 🙌 and now they're able to do some of the Chinese dishes gluten free too!!! I always had food envy before when others had the salt and pepper prawns, now I can join in. The team here are so great, especially Emily, Amal and Amit. Great music and atmosphere, and who doesn't love a spicy margarita?

Amazing food as always, especially the kung Pau tofu, manchurin cauliflower and chilli cheese naan. Only downside was some of our parry were bothered by the draft from the door.

Fabulous Chinese food, so fresh and vibrant. Honestly some of the best I have, ever. The soft shell crab was amazing, and the crispy fried duck was simply delicious. We will definitely be back, time and time again. Wonderful service and a welcoming intimate atmosphere.

Fuimos aquí después de encontrarlo en Trip Advisor, fuimos para una celebración de cumpleaños. Pedimos la coliflor que era increíble y la carne de res en salsa de frijoles negros era tan tierna que simplemente se derritió en su boca. Fue muy agradable ver comida china e india en el mismo menú, funciona! Nuestra camarera Emily de Surrey era excelente, sin duda le importa un gran bullicio sobre el lugar y es muy muy bueno en su trabajo. Recomendaría este lugar a cualquiera que ame sabores encantadores, se quita el sombrero al chef. ¡El martini de chocolate fue el mejor cóctel que he probado por un tiempo!

Very bright and colourful decor but still warm and cozy. Food was delicious, curries were flavoursome and the naan complemented the curries.And enough curry sauce for dipping the naan! The staff were very friendly and attentive. One lady in particular was super helpful and very knowledgeable about the menu and helped us choose the right curry for our preferences which we thoroughly enjoyed! Also special thanks to Ned and his exceptional service felt very welcomed. We’d recommend the lemonade as it is unique and refreshing. The restaurant throughout had an aromatic smell from the toilets to the entrance. Would definitely recommend 10/10!!

Llamamos a Rock Salt para ver qué podíamos hacer para ordenarlo y nos dieron un gran consejo y luego estaban muy contentos de hacer nuestro pedido original de nuevo, a velocidad, y con algunos regalos lanzados allí también, a pesar de que no había nada que hubieran hecho mal - todo había sido culpa de Deliveroo!

Fuimos por un cumpleaños de amigos y tuvimos que pagar un depósito de £ 10 por persona (no es un problema en absoluto) El personal de espera somos algunos de los mejores que he experimentado en Bristol, con buenas recomendaciones. La suma mínima era preciosa, pero honestamente, no podía decir que había langostino dentro, de hecho, ¡no estoy convencido de que lo hubiera! Quizás fue Pollo pero de cualquier manera fue encantador Me encanta que tantos de los platos vienen con diferentes salsas / dips de acompañamiento. Guardé un poco aparte para mi amigo pollo arroz. ¡Las porciones son geniales en general, por lo que puede compartir fácilmente un arroz entre 2 y 3 dependiendo de lo que tenga! Muy recomendable! ¡No te vistas para el frío, estaba hirviendo por dentro!

Mis amigos y yo salimos una vez al mes a comer curry y nos ponemos al día. Visitamos aquí un jueves por la noche durante el cual me sirvieron pollo crudo (estoy seguro de que había comido algo de él antes de que me diera cuenta - la iluminación del restaurante era oscura). Si bien me siento aliviado de no haber estado enfermo durante la noche, me horrorizó que un restaurante que se describe a sí mismo como uno de los mejores de Bristol no pudiera garantizar que cualquier carne servida se cocine a fondo. Mientras que la chica que nos atendió fue muy disculpado y no nos cobró por ese artículo. La explicación del error, que podría haber dado lugar a que yo estuviera extremadamente mal o peor, fue ridícula. Del mismo modo, la actitud de los directivos y las habilidades de comunicación inútiles/inadecuadas eran totalmente inaceptables. Él no me habló hasta que me acerqué a él y solo en ese momento dijo cosas como: ‘Puedo reembolsar toda la factura’. Rechacé esto, ya que solo dijo esto como una idea posterior. Cuando le pedí que me llamara el dueño me dijo que todavía podía estar de vacaciones y estaba muy ocupado, ya que tenía un montón de restaurantes! Hoy les he enviado un correo electrónico, pero aún no he recibido respuesta.

Wow! As a vegan, I chose vegan options. I prefer Indian food and my wife prefers Chinese. At last we've found a takeaway restaurant that not only caterers for both our tastes but whose food is simply in a class of its own. Absolutely delicious, perfectly cooked and sooo much higher quality than any other vegan takeaways we've had ... ever! The quantities were also generous. The price was much the same as other places, but the value was excellent. Will DEFINITELY come back for more. (Can't comment reliably on the service or atmosphere as didn't eat-in but seemed to be popular and have a good, up-market vibe.)

It’s my second time coming here. The food is great. And the service is fantastic!

We ordered from across the menu - chilli chicken, paneer tikka, dal makahni and chicken korma and all dishes except the korma were delicious! the lachcha paratha was authentic and the people in the restaurant were so nice! Would definitely recommend. It was my brother’s birthday so they brought out this amazing cheesecake too!
