This Taiwanese restaurant is an absolute gem! The fish tempura (甜不辣)is incredibly authentic and takes me right back to Taiwan. The fried Man Tou (炸饅頭)is another standout—golden, fluffy, and just the right balance of crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside. Dipping it into condensed milk adds a delightful touch of sweetness. The overall experience was fantastic, with warm and attentive service. Highly recommend for anyone craving true Taiwanese flavors!

Went to this place because I've never had real Chinese food before (just the standard English version) and this place did not disappoint. Tried the lamb with cumin, shrimp, squid in dry hot pot. It was all delicious and generous sized portions too. I want to try more real Chinese now as it's so different to what I've eaten before. My favourite was the squid in dry hot pot 😋. Just be careful to order from the actual Chinese menu because when we asked for some dishes we were told we wouldn't like it and pointed towards the English menu. We had to persuade the staff that we wanted to try actual Chinese food 🤣 the lady serving was lovely though.

Overpriced especially for the quality of food. Soggy chips, not real spice even though it said it was spicy, it’s just mid not even mid it’s below mid. Chilli prawns weren’t even Chilli prawns!!!! It’s was dry no spice on it and it was covered in batter.

We really liked this homely clean authentic restaurant in the heart of Sheffield city centre. We are vegan and hadn’t expected much in all honesty but actually more than we thought if you want Vegan options just tell them and they will help you pick from the menu. They understand vegan the man & woman & their daughters are all helpful & friendly. Very unassuming from the outside with not much English writing but upon entering the restaurant. I was a little surprised at how nice it was with wooden seating & authentic decor. The woman serving was friendly and welcoming and it smelt really nice like hot soup & garlicy. Lots of options marked with a v (vegetarian ) and vegan friendly we had the mushroom claypot rice dish and udon noodle soup with fresh vegetables & tofu. Both quite simple but hot, filling & delicious comforting popular with students & families it seemed Its not the usual greasy fast food type of place like the usual chinese (western style) restaurants. The handmade vegetable dumplings looked good and are on my list to try next time. A Great little independent family run place and nice to see it busy on a Saturday evening too dine in or takeaway near the moor opposite ALS gongcha for great bubble tea. Clean & hygienic restaurant with a ground level toilet for customers too. Will return here thanks its definitely a hidden gem but saw it reviewed & recommended on instagram so decided to pop in and very glad we did ☺️

We hadn't made a reservation but arrived just after 5p.m and were warmly greeted, and even at that time there were several diners already tucking in! After being presented with 3 different possibilities to order our food we opted for the £24.95 all you can eat buffet. The waitress was very patient with us as we decided what to eat and pointed out that we could order more dishes later on if we liked. The food was delicious and tasted very fresh. As the vegetarian of the group, my favourite dish was the stir fried vegetables with cashew nuts, but my fellow meat eaters were also happy to include some vegetarian dishes in our banquet, so I also enjoyed vegetable spring rolls etc. Well worth a visit if you're in the area.
