3月去吃過一次，對這餐廳念念不忘，因為食物非常"香港"，但7月再次到訪時，發現餐廳已易手，變成吃湘菜為主，我點了一個魚香茄子，算是廣東菜，店家把這道菜用生炒豬肉的做法煮，並改用了湘菜的椒去煮，令這道菜不太正宗，而且整道菜沒有下肉碎，不太正宗

Estado aquí unas cuantas veces y el servicio no ha cambiado. La comida es buena aunque la sopa caliente y amarga es un éxito y se pierda demasiado dulces y la sal y pimienta muy saladas, pero alas era perfecto, la próxima vez. La camarera mayores que nos servía era muy desagradable la primera vez nos a pedido de la mesa y luego la orden de tiempo en la recepción cuando pregunté por qué ella dijo pagar aquí con ninguna explicación. Pedimos carne el comino y ella no sabía lo que era y no la tienen, a pesar de estar en el menú. El servicio es sin duda con una sonrisa. Mejor tomando un para llevar a sentarse.

Tuve carne chow mein desde el menú del almuerzo. La comida era decente y a un precio razonable. Llegó rápidamente y estaba bien caliente.

Después de la grosería de fideos inn (otra vez) me encontré con armonía Cafe y quedé muy impresionado. Una buena selección de platos del menú de almuerzo (4,80 libras). Servicio rápido y buena comida. Recomendado.

ランチに一回だけ行きました。いつもは隣の中華料理店に行っていました。ランチの種類がたくさんあり、味もよかったです。

I have been a regular in this restaurant for years, because the food is decent. Despite this, the previous Lady owner was extremely greedy that she would steal a few pence out of me in change and give me expired drinks and then ask me to go get a refund from the manufacturer not her that was selling it! As a result she lost my custom and I even had my whole company with 20+ people diverting to another restaurant. Now, I saw that it was under a new management and I decided to go back there again. Big mistake. I was given the wrong food that I ordered but the waitress did not admit her mistake but instead refused to take the food back and she was extremely rude. She insisted that I should eat the food that she brought and that she would not take the food back to the kitchen! After a 10 minute stand where I refused to back out she then went back to the kitchen to bring the correct food but I would not be surprised if she spit in my food, considering how bad she took the whole thing. That's it for me, never go back again. And you have been warned.

My partner and I visited this evening and I must say that it was the best hot pot that I have had outside of China. A little pricy, but definitely worth it. Highly recommended!

the lady who used to serve(think she was the owner) amazing women. food was always tasty,warm and well proportioned. so glad they move to that bigger place, just lovely honest hard working people. wish you all the luck in the world

My father and I only came across this place by accident. We'd been looking for somewhere to eat and glanced at a few menus but there was nothing on offer that really grabbed our attention. Then we turned down a side-street and came across the Harmony Cafe. The staff were really friendly. The waitress must have noticed that the sunlight coming through the window was shining in my eyes and came over to alter the blinds so I could see the menu better. The menu had lots of choice on it. I plumped for Beef in Black Pepper Sauce with boiled rice and my father had the same but with Chicken instead of Beef. We also had a portion of chips each (we don't claim to be experts in Chinese cuisine, but we know what we like!). The food was gorgeous and spicy and the portions were generous enough that my father couldn't finish all of his! They also gave us a free dish of Prawn Crackers with it. There were plenty of other people eating in there and it appeared that many were regular customers, which is usually a good sign that you've chosen somewhere good to eat. Next time we go to Sheffield my father and I both agreed that we won't have to think about where to go to eat. We'll be back at the Harmony Cafe again!

Ah she's spot on this place chief. Cracking value boss. The sea bass was proper trick as well chief. Absolutely 100%. Waitress was a bit rude like.

It's not bad service in terms of the food they offer. I liked what I had, the food had no problems whatsoever. The only thing that ruined it for me was the waitress who served me on Monday the 14th. I had a plate of sweetcorn and fish rice, and when I was eating a satay skewer, the lady took my rice away without even asking me whether I had finished. I roughly had about 1/3 of my plate left! I was so baffled that by the time I turned around she already ran to the kitchen and got rid of it. I didn't want to say anything whilst I was there because I didn't want to cause drama but please please please get her to ask customers whether they're done with their food before taking anything away!

Having travelled extensively in Hong Kong, Mainland China and Taiwan I can be quite fussy about Chinese food in the UK. My son recommended a visit to Harmony and what a great suggestion it was. I ordered one of my favourite favourites, beef brisket noodle soup. It arrived freshly prepared after 15 minutes. It was heavenly. Quite simply the best beef noodles I have had outside of Taiwan. Plenty of tender, tasty beef, green vegetables, a semi spicy broth. The others in my family had a tofu dish and satay beef noodles. All excellent. Friendly service, plenty of room. All in all, top notch and great value.

Great place to have a dinner ! Food excellent , friendly people ! Also Harmony is one of the land mark restaurant in Sheffield !

Very good Chinese food not to many English taste ie chicken feet... Amazing and the duck is out of this world my wife had beef and mushrooms and didn't enjoy it but she didn't release this is a Chinese restaurant not a English Chinese restaurant but she loved the starter and my food will return

Very simple place, very kind Waitress. Prices for starters around 4-5£ and mains 6-8£... No free parking around even om Sunday, so bring some coins 😉 Definitely recommend Chilli Squid for starter, love it! I order Dumplings noodle soup and from "Spicy tasty" category I order Shredded beef, was good but not wow.

This is a really nice place to eat and I often patronise it at lunchtime. The service is fast, efficient, and very pleasant. The food is quite good and looking by the number of Chinese students that patronise it, must be authentic. Portions are big and prices very reasonable. The large soup noodle dishes are highly commended, especially the vegetable ones, which have a variety of unusual and exotic vegetables. Their braised beef is emblematic and quite tasty. My colleague had quite nice king prawn Kung Po recently. There are dozens of different dishes.

The hot pot is amazing! And great value. Eat there recently and had a noodle dish with sea food. Food was lovely although a little pricey (especially if you compare to the restaurant next door)

excellent food! Thoroughly recommend the satay skewers! Lashings of sauce and tender chicken. The beef curry was also superb.

Went for a meal a week before xmas. Had great Ma po Tofu!The staff is very friendly as well and I love their vegi spring rolls. The dishes and the price - both great!! Going to make this a regular.

My partner and I often eat at Harmony . We have tried several oriental restaurants in Sheffield and found this is one of our favourite. The portion is very big and you can share between two. The dishes are amazing and the prices are also good.

I found this place a few months ago and began to use as a twice monthy Takeaway treat. The food is excellent and is always well preapared and presented. I love the Crispy Chilli beef it is always cooked fresh and so much better than the stodgy ones that is the norm at most Takeaways. Staff are always helpful and are only too happy to explain the menu. Well worth trying out.

Me and my partner have been going to Harmony for years...its amazing, the food is such great quality and the prices are good!the special chow mein and tasty braised beef are highly reccomended! Great, fresh, hot, plentiful food!Give it a try.

we had the set meal 3 courses, was fantastic, enormous portions, we brought back half our Mains and desserts home! lovely place lovely food and wonderful staff :)

First visit here but won't be the last. Excellent food,hot and plentyfull, the cafe is basic but clean and had a good atmosphere. Good value for money.

This is one of my favourite local lunch spots. The food is really tasty, good value, and there is a reasonable choice for vegetarians. Also a great international atmosphere (it is mostly frequented by staff & students from the University). The lady who usually serves on the counter is a total wonder, I swear she knows the prices of about 300 dishes off by heart, and is always very welcoming. It can get very busy on weekday lunchtimes at around 1pm, get in early if you have a large group.

I've been eating at Harmony for several years now, and the food only seems to get better. The cafe used to be located in a small shop, but since they've moved expanded into a restaurant the ambience and service has vastly improved. Portion sizes are great, enough to satisfy some hungry lads after a game of football! THE CHICKEN WINGS ARE AMAZING. So is the Chilli Oil. The menu has loads of varieties on it, and it seems to be quite authentic. Definitely give it a go!

Have been to this cafe several times. Food is excellent. They do a Fab lunchtime special menu. Only downside is the service needs to improve, especially one particular woman who takes the orders at the counter. She is very abrupt and you almost feel apologetic for wasting her time!

We love the Harmony cafe and go every 2 or 3 weeks for lunch or dinner. The staff are lovely but professional, and it is an informal cafe (you order at the front desk and take drinks from the fridge). I personally like this. Everything I've ever eaten has been good - I recommend the Singapore fried noodles and they will even cook to your specific requests. Love it - try it! You're guaranteed to go back. Cheap as chips too!

Has heard of Harmony Cafe and came highly recommended, so myself, my sister and a friend came for lunch. And what a wonderful surprise the prices, service and food great. Love the atmosphere, it was full of Chinese people which just added to the wonderful experience. Will be definitely coming again to try the evening.

Found the Harmony Cafe by accident one day. I was visiting a tailor upstairs from their old cafe and wondered why so many Chinese people were in the restaurant at lunchtime and some waiting outside for a free table. The smell was fabulous so I said one night I will pick up a take-away and try it. .... yrs later I am still visiting this place and have tried take outs from Edinburgh to Sheffield and no one competes with their deep fried beef in chilli sauce...and beef in green pepper and black bean sauce. Both dishes are cooked to perfection using quality meats and vegetables. I have tried other dishes but those are my favourite for take out. Try this place once...you won't regret it.

I normally go to other chinese restaurants in Sheffield but just so happened to walk into Harmony one day in their new place. Its a nice restaurant now, not a cafe with nice lighting and good atmosphere. Always full of Chinese students which is always a good sign! And the food is the best I've had in Sheffield. I always get the salt and garlic tofu which is the best I've had in ages, the portions are really big and its such a good price. Most people pass it without realising how good it is! The staff are friendly and theres such a massive selection on the menu I'm always trying new things. Will go back time and time again.

Live in Sheffield and found this by walking past, gave it a try and have been back many times. The food is great, very reasonably priced and must be authentic as it is always full of Chinese Students. Always full which is also a good sign, and the staff very friendly. Take away is also available. Not a place for a romantic meal, but if you want great food, then give it a whirl

the most authentic Chinese food since i toured China in 2005. The staff were brilliant, the menu caters for most people. loved the food, i will deffo be back. (maybe tomorrow). Stumbling across this cafe made my stay in Shefield worth while.

It's always a good sign if Chinese people eat in a Chinese restaurant. It is usually full of native diners and the service and price are spot on.

Visiting Sheffield and looking for somewhere to eat, we stumbled across this place. The dishes were ample, good value and tasty. Four of us all very happy.

I have also had a really bad experience with this place. I am a muslim who decided to eat their and imagine my disgust and suprise when i found out that i had consumed Pork. I complained to the owner however she seemed to think that it was my fault that i didnt realise that pork was ALWAYS present in this dish. To clarify pork was NOT stated as an ingrediant even ! i am relative new comer to oriental food and feel that it is not my fault that i do not know the staple recipes to oriental dishes. I felt belittled and embaressed especially as it was a special occasion, my son's graduation meal, a special day ruined by the rude owner and inconsiderate actions. I will never forget my son's graduation, for all of the wrong reasons

Great little find in the busy city centre amongst expensive, impersonal big chains and bland all you can eats. Highly Recommend!

The nearest I have come in Sheffield to the food stall in the far east, the chilli oil really completes it. Always looks busy but worth going in as the tables clear quickly.
