We have had some mixed experiences but its gotten better lately. They do a huge vegetarian and mostly vegan menu and we love the noodle platters too! Great value and nice to eat in they seem really busy with takeaways too so we see it as a good sign and look forward to trying more the starters, satay, and mock duck noodles were delicious indeed

Poor quality Ubereats delivery - the crispy duck was burnt, the egg fried rice was dry and bland and the salt and pepper chicken was chewy and greasy. The king prawn noodles were ok and the only item that raised this review above 1 star. Will not order again.

Ordered takeaway through deliveroo, no update on food, and was pushed back from 30mins to 1:30mins, when we called to check on the food, the server was rude

Really nice Chinese with great well labelled vegan options, green menu nearly all vegan. Some of the best salt and chilli chips we've had, really recommend the garlic broccoli, sweet and sour mock chicken balls and the satay mock chicken skewers

Don't eat the udon noodles. The others are delicious.

Tasty food, Generous Portion size, easy atmosphere

I am writing this after a very fulfilling and scrumptious dinner with my friends. The set meal B not only exceeded expectations, but filled a hole in my long day, and my stomach. The bonding I experienced with my gadges is something that can’t be paid for, but only experienced by coincidentally finding a fine East Asian establishment on a Saturday night. After walking back to the hotel after my delicious meal, walking past all the drunks and lifeless souls of Sheffield, all I could think about is my gratitude for this food being a part of my life.

Food is absolutely amazing! Staff are friendly and, if asked, will help you choose the right meal you want to try. I had the belly pork meal with fried rice that tasted great! The other meal was a chicken with cashew nuts. Portions are generous, so much so that we took the rest home. If you ask the staff, they will give you takeaway trays with a bag. Definitely need to try if you want authentic Chinese food. Thank you, we are coming back.

have been this restaurant few times, there was no disappointment everytime. look for the special offer every visit. the dishes were in generous protion. my friend who visited me from London said, some dishes were at least as twice big as her experienced in sone London restaurant. food is tasty snd price is reasonable. the bowl of soup is enough for six people.

Noodle Inn, best place go eat in Sheffield bar none, atmosphere is great; the prices are cheap, per meal £10-15, 1 meal feeds 2 people. Me and my fiends always joke that the leftovers you take home, you would pay more at most Chinese takeaways. There's also complimentary icecream, love it.

Absolutely disgusting customer service!!! Ordered on Uber eats, they gave our order to the WRONG driver who obviously did not deliver to us, our driver went to pick up the order and was told it's already gone. He called us so we called the restaurant and they just said it's gone out sorry can't help. So no food and they refused to fix the issue, the driver was told to basically go away. Disgusting customer service!!!!! Was a £40 order and they literally couldn't have cared less. Will never order again, so rude!!!!

Fantastic portions at a fantastic price. Went for a family meal and I ended up tucking into my family's leftovers. Very tasty and up there with the best Chinese I have ever had. A great service along with free ice-cream.

This comment is specifically for mainland friends. The taste is just so-so, but I really don’t want to go there. They specialize in serving Hong Kong and British people. I came in to order food at 12:10 today, but no food was served until 12:50. Just ordered 4 dim sum. Later, all the Hong Kong people were served, but my table was the only one in the whole room that was not served. Tell me the glutinous rice chicken is gone. As a result, I saw two glutinous rice chickens on the next table. The child was so hungry that he cried. As a result, the three waiters avoided eye contact. It’s not like you have to overturn the table with your daughter on the spot. Cao! Rubbish! Just slap your butt and leave without waiting. There is a China Town next to it, so it’s okay to have snacks.

I went here in my first month at uni. As a uni student, the prices are a little dear, but I can accept that when I'm met with fast and delightful service, high quality of food and authentic cuisine. I ordered Szechuan village-style pork belly with a side of fried rice. There was plenty of food for my cousin and I, with even enough left to take home in a takeaway box. As I said, the staff were friendly and the restaurant was a pleasant environment in a good location. Will definitely be going back again sometime. :)

Me and my partner visited late this evening after another restaurant we intended to visit nearby was empty. for around 8pm on a Sunday the restaurant was pretty busy. staff were super polite but the food was great! Hugeeeee portions and fantastic value for money! my partner had a ramen which came in the biggest bowl i have ever seen! and i had a Sunday special! lots (and i mean lots) of roast meats and rice. Would absolutely visit again!

Awful, just awful. Greasy & the meats do not resemble meat whatsoever. Will never revisit this establishment again & the stomach pains afterwards were immense. Weirdly there were full tables so it must be a favourite of sone but for why I cannot understand. Stick to Pho instead!

Delicious food, friendly service and comfy seats.

I ordered food from this here on Uber eats. I had to wait around an hour for the food and still got delivered the WRONG items. I am a vegetarian and ordered vegetables noodles but was given chicken rice. When I tried to call them about the issue, the lady who picked up started saying she can’t do anything and hang up the phone suddenly. I tried again to speak to the restaurant and the same result. Not only are the staff rude, but also unwilling to apologise or compensate for their mistakes. I will not be buying from here again as they do not give refunds or send you your actual order.

Food was gorgeous and reasonably priced. The vegetarian menu is the best I’ve ever seen- fantastic variety. The staff were lovely and even taught my friend how to use chopsticks. Would absolutely eat here again!

Absolutely the worse Chinese in sheffield. BUYER BEWARE.... what an absolute joke. Noodles burnt oily and covered in msg rice was hard and severely undercooked, the diners to the left of me also stated this. The salt&chilli ribs had zero meat on them and again covered in msg. The staff slow and unresponsive and didn't say a word when took full plates off table, the reason they didn't ask why I'd left it? Because they knew. So many options for Chinese cuisine in sheffield, unfortunately this has gone down hill badly. Today was the last straw, we will never ever be back here. You've been warned. F-

Comfortable, moderately priced, little Chinese restaurant squarely aimed at the local Chinese student population, so you will get an authentically Chinese experience. The food is excellent, and portions are big enough for hungry students. The atmosphere is much more intimate than the Noodle Inn on London Road. If you really want your food brought in definite courses, as in starter, then main course, make sure the staff understand that. Or don't order your main course until you have your starters in front of you. Otherwise you will get your dishes Chinese style, arriving almost all together, in whatever order the kitchen finishes them.

We love this little restaurant, table for two tucked into the corner. Service is fast and friendly, ice cream on the house yummy on a hot day!

We have been here several times in the past and loved it but this was our third choice tonight....OMG What is that menu all about .......we just ordered a simple meal between us.... to be able to read that menu you need to go with a clear head.....Noooo we will not return ...... There is a vegetarian menu, so it's amazing if you don't eat meat. I love the crispy noodles with vegetables and salt and chilli tofu. The portions are huge. Good value for money.

We was waiting ten mins to even be spoke to. When there was only 3 people dining. We sat and waited another half hour for starters. The ribs were rock hard. The prawn toast and spring rolls were ok. The seaweed was so sweet it was horrible. The mains were disgusting. Swimming in grease. Hard rice that had been sat in a rice cooker for ages on the side. The meat was gooey. The brisket was pure oil. The flavour was lovely but the rest was horrible. Unfortunately I would never step foot in there again

Background / Summary: I am Singaporean Chinese; recently moved to the UK. I found Noodle Inn's food to be homely, tasty, and reasonably-priced, if but a tad oily. We had seafood crispy noodle, wonton noodle soup with udon, and black bean beef ho fun. All three dishes were good. The seafood noodles were crispy and delicious, the black bean ho fun had a just-right touch of saltiness, and the wontons were fat and juicy. The portion sizes were large, and on hindsight, 2 adults can probably share one portion of noodles. This makes the £9 - £10 price per noodle dish really value for money. I am, however, docking one star off because I found the crispy noodles and ho fun dishes to be a tad too oily. If they could use less oil, the dishes would taste lighter, and would be healthier as well.

Lots of vegetarian options. The aubergine, potato and peppers dish is delicious.

Ordered from deliveroo - prawns with broccoli in garlic sauce, fried rice, spring rolls & a tea drink I love and was really looking forward to. Never got my tea even tho paid nearly £3 for it, so that's upsetting (and deliveroo refuses to refund me, so I'm done with them as its not the 1st time). But I'm now also going hungry tonight because I can't eat food this bland. The sauce for the prawns tasted like water that had a slice of garlic dipped in it for a minute, no joke. The prawns and veggies had been cooked with little to no seasoning. And some of the worst spring rolls I've ever had! There was no meat tho they weren't labelled as vegan/vegetarian, obvious frozen and not made by the restaurant - frozen is ok if it's good, but again, no flavor and only a tiny bit of noodles, cabbage and carrot, mostly wrapper. I imagine this place is for the Caucasian British folks because I'm from California and no one, of any race/ethnicity that I've ever known, would eat this - I was raised on Chinese food, and it has flavor, unlike this. Won't bother trying again, it's that bad.

Amazing value for money. The food is super tasty and full of flavours, freshly prepared every time. My favourite place to eat in the whole of Sheffield.

Slow service.Takeaways more of a priority, there was 5 of us, meals came at different times, my meal was wrong, by the time it came my rice was cold. They had all finished before mine came.People stood on top of us waiting for there takeaways, delivroo workers stood waiting to take out there delivery's

Love this place. Food is of really high quality and there is always lots of it. Menu has been reduced recently but still loads of options. Staff are friendly and the prices are reasonable for the quality of food.

Fabulous food, quick service (it was quiet when we visited). Friendly staff and dishes that you don't see on many menus. Kung Pao chicken being my favourite!

I placed a telephone order to be delivered. I put my payment details in and placed order. I was unsure the order had gone through. So I phoned to check. The girl who answered the phone was so rude Three times she hung up on me. The forth time she just laughed when I asked to speak with the manager she said he wasn’t there. In the end she gave the phone to a cook and he said her English is bad. Why on earth would you have a person working in the restaurant trade who can’t speak English. I definitely won’t be going back to this restaurant at all. Also I would not recommend this to anyone. A Kay.

Ordered takeaway from Deliveroo and it was fantastic! Especially loved the salt and chilli pork chops and shredded beef! Very tasty and quick delivery, we would definitely order again in future.

Love the food here!!... so much so we travel from near Wakefield to eat here. Their food tastes amazing and authentic. The portion sizes are huge for the amount of money you pay. Highly recommend this Chinese for eat in or take away.

Food is a bit variable, some dishes great others less so. Definitely avoid the "Malaysian" kwei teow. Not very nice and certainly not authentic. Measures of soft drinks more generous than many.

Lovely restaurant, with a nice decor and atmosphere. Many vegetarian options available. Deal on a different set dish everyday of the week. No deals on vegetarian dishes, though. Staff is friendly and helpful. Portion sizes are just enormous, and will fill up anyone. Great value for money.

Ordered the kung po chicken - there was a smell of semen coming from the box it was in. I thought I would eat a bit anyway but it wasn’t cooked properly; some of the chicken was rock hard and very chewy and some bits were a bit pink. Disgusting. No offer of a refund and no apology was given, either. Avoid!

A lovely little restaurant. The food came really quickly, it was an amazing portion size, and the price was really reasonable. This was a favourite of mine for many years when I was a student in the area, and now that I have moved further away, on my return visits to Sheffield, I eat there every time!

Really homey environment with blazingly quick service on offer on almost all dishes friendly staff of mainly Chinese decent but this presents no issue as the English is well understood on ordering food 100% would reccomend if you're looking for a good value meal

Food is excellent. BUT be careful if you are ordering takeaways, the driver will charge you extra for his own fault of not able to find the correct address. And if you are trying to call the restaurant to ask for a warning ahead for next time, this one staff named May will raise her voice and threats to call the police then hang up on you, twice. And if you ask to speak to the manager, she's not in....

When I walked in I though I'm in China. The decoration, the food and the atmosphere all are there. The food is good and fresh, the service is nice... They really need to install an AC.

I’ve gone here twice. The food quantity is more and some of the food are good. But, the customer service is EXTREMELY BAD. The waitresses have so much of attitude that they CAN’T even smile! Even though its not busy, the waitresses are very rude asking us to go get our own glass and pour the water for ourselves from the jug kept in the reception. And if we need any extra cutlery we had to go fetch it from the cupboard. When there was too much food extra , we asked whether they can get it packed for us, but they told us to pack by ourselves from the take away containers kept in the cupboard. The worst customer service restaurant I’ve ever been in my life! I’m NEVER going back here!

Havent been here for a bit, good food quick service, big portions and they provide you with takeaway cartons for any leftovers. Recommend honey roast pork big plate noodles.

Good cheap food served quickly at competitive prices. Down side is that it is a cash only establishment.

Delicious food and tastes quite authentic, friendly staff and extremely fast service- you only have to wait a matter of minutes from ordering sometimes! Generous portions too. My personal favourites are the aubergine claypots and crispy beef, but it's all good really. Only criticism would be that they only accept cash payment, luckily there is an ATM nearby.

This is a very friendly busy little eating place. The service was excellent and the food was very good. Prices were exceptional and more food than we could eat. What stood out was the time from ordering to receiving, I reckon about 5 minutes.
