The absolute best takeaway and delivery service around! Hot, fresh and soooooo good. I can honestly say that I've never had better from anywhere in the world, than the amazing service and food we received tonight. Thank you so much for a truly beautiful meal. A***** Update 20/09/2024 - As always the food is consistently hot. Sadly though, some of the portion sizes have now been reduced dramatically. So not only has the price been raised again, but portion sizes have been reduced again, to what is now a mediocre amount. The sweet and sour chicken balls are now just sweet and sour batter (they tasted vile tonight!). There is less chicken in them than a chicken mcnugget! Sadly this means that the food has become very overpriced and under portioned. A meal used to feed 4-6 of us, now we all have around half the amount we used to get. It's truly sad to see, as we have always praised and raved about how good they used to be but we will now be looking elsewhere, for our Friday night delivery... such a shame..🤷♂️

Ordered a tofu in black bean sauce came without the sauce and crammed with spicey peppers, does not state food is spicey on menu, waited an hour and 20 mins, which we expected on a friday, food was cold, husband couldnt eat it. Waste of money, will never order from here again!

This place seems to have reopened under the name Jumbo Chinese Restaurant. First time ordering here and sadly my last. Delivery took an hour but at order it said 20-30 mins. Food arrived cold and had to be heated before eating. The chicken fried rice was nothing like a normal Chinese chicken fried rice. There was no flavour at all and the chicken was greasy and tough. Weirdly, the rice was also bright yellow, more like an Indian pilau rice. The spring rolls were OK and edible but sadly not good enough to make me want to order again. Sadly my search for a decent Chinese takeaway goes on.

Was Good food 2 years ago now but twice we've had cold food 1 hour 10 min wait at £25 to feed 2 . We won't be putting up with this anymore. I understand there busy in peak times but instead of saying sorry it's going to be a 2 hour wait but I will arrive within 2 hours be hot and fresh is that okay then I at least have the option bit wasn't warned about a long delay with cold food delivered on the phone when ordering they offerd to re do it and send new food but refused that just because we were so hungry after long shifts at work Like I say it was good but no it just isn't it's not a one off rant either this is the 2nd time 1st time I let it go but others need to know save your money go to the pub or something for food same price nearly

Purchased food for £30 and asked for prawn. Crackers but not allowed them for free as had to spent £40 ha ha really !!!! You need to watch a video called give them the pickle it will allow you to understand the basics of customer service and the small things go a long way Have spent a lot of money over the years and always want to support local businesses Yet simple things go a long way

Years ago, I used to work at a take away pizza and Italian place. Whenever we would get a new customer, the boss would make sure they got the best food (plus a few extras) and service they could possibly get from us. He'd want to wow them and hopefully they'd be pleased and come back. White Rose Chinese obviously doesn't have the same ethos. First thing I noticed, the set meal for 4 (£54)was a lot more expensive than actually buying a load of separate dishes... That isn't normal, right? So I ordered my 6 or 7 dishes (6 people) and waited for the delivery.. Which was prompt and pleasant. The food on the other hand... Now either they'd ran out of ingredients, we're skimping to the extreme, or perhaps both. Not a single beansprout, water chestnut, peppers, spring onions, baby corn... A few mangy bamboo shoots, slices of carrot and onions. Swimming in sauces with a bit of meat. Hey, at least they still charged me full price. Well done. The lack of vegetables, and in particular beansprouts, was at its most notible when we cut into our large spring roll.. Or cabbage roll, as the White Rose served us. Horrible! Tiny portion of chips, large noodles and fried rice were far from large (remember when dishes came with rice or chips as standard?) and the sesame prawn toast wasn't exactly generous with the prawns. I've had thicker marmite. Disappointing. Ah well, they must have loads of customers as they obviously don't want me to return.
