Chinese noddles I had one veg chow mein and prawn chow mein it was not much food there was way to much oil in that I’ll prefer not to buy from here again

I brought chicken chow main,egg fried rice ,curry sauce. I live less than 5 mins away got home and the food was cold.the chow main looked like it had been rushed and the chicken looked like it hadn't even been in.the wok it was white like it had been tossed on top and not brown at all , in the end I put it in the microwave but I tasted it and it was vile no taste ,I did phone the shop and complained it was cold 11 pound I'd paid for something that I threw in the bin because it wasn't cooked right and I was afraid I'd get food poisoning off food that was either leftovers or still part frozen this isn't right,and environmental health should get involved it's not a high standard of food

Horrible service. Food never arrived because the driver they use seems barely literate. Rude staff when I tried to call as well. Waited almost 2 hours for a restaurant less than 3 miles away. Shambles

i ordered my food over an hour ago with an expected delivery time of 40 minutes. i live a five minute drive away, what is going on with this? ridiculous

Just received my mix box and someone has bit into my prawn toast I can’t believe it I have never had this before in shock!! The bbq sauce is also very watery and tasteless not happy with this food and won’t be ordering from here again 🤢

Slow.. curry tasted like chicken was boiled then added to curry. Tasted like water with some curry powder in it. Not spending another penny here.

Terrible service. Ordered through just eat. My order did not arrive. Contacted restaurant 2.5 hours after ordering. I was told my order had not left the restaurant. No explanation. Mumbled down the phone. Waited another 15 minutes. Just eat site stated food delivered. This was a lie. Called restaurant again told sometimes the app is not accurate. I decided to cancel my order and request a refund. Absolutely disgusted and will Not use again.....

Had some food ordered through mate Uber eats . The salt pepper chips bland no taste . The chicken curry bland did not enjoy the food . Need to improve taste

Must say this would be the worse Chinese I have ever had everything tasted bland, chicken chow mein chicken tasted like it was heated in the microwave I will never use again! Worst £30 I have ever spent.

Very disappointed in our meal tonight, possibly the worst one we've had from maple garden. Prawn crackers were stale, curries were watery and tasteless.

Cant recommend the special curry. Bland and uninteresting. I would go as far as to say worst Ive had in 40 years. Rice wasn't brilliant either...dry and tasteless. Prices are reasonable. Cash only which was a downer. I don't think I will be a returning customer.

Absolutely shocking had an email to say order confirmed. Informed them of a nut allergy. Delivery said it would be 60 mins, when it got to 90 mins we rang to ask where the order was and they informed us it was cancelled due to not being able to cook anything without nuts. They could of let us know being as they had the phone number and email.

Just had a delivered meal from Maple Gardens…. The House special chow mien and Cantonese sweet and sour pork were delicious. A+ will definitely get another meal from there.

Ordered at 19:10. Still waiting at 21:15. This place is a joke. Unless you order by app, the phone delivery service is diabolical. Maybe they should open their eyes to what service they are providing... If you know what I mean.

Had a delivery for my 50th birthday last night and we went for the Dinner for 4 People. Piping hot food, lots of it and well worth 39 quid to have a huge selection. Thanks for adding to a very special birthday.

Simply putting it not the best, my usual Chinese on Abbey Road was closed so decided to give Maple Garden a try. I won't be going back. Left overs went straight in to the bin.

Curry is bland, rice is dry and chicken has a strange soapy taste. Wont be returning.

The worst takeaway I’ve ever had!! I wouldn’t even feed it to a dog! It all went in the bin! They couldn’t even get something as simple as noodles right. Sloppy disgusting mess! You would have thought the fried rice at the very least would have been edible but even that was terribly over cooked! Wouldn’t be surprised if they were days old as the smell alone was terribly off putting. The 1st & last time I would order from there. never mind zero stars, this place is in the minus! Absolutely diabolical!!!

This food put me in hospital for 3 days!!! Im a very loyal customer use you guys maybe 6-7 times a month i got a delivery from you last Saturday and I had the lemon chicken that was my only meal that day, the Sunday I woke up in agony and running to the bathroom, I got blue lighted to hospital and put on an IVF drip morphine and took samples. I was diagnosed with campylobacter which is a very contagious and very pain full...you stomach is in agony 24/7 to the point of cripple and you sleep on the toilet plus pass blood all from RAW/DIRTY chicken. I was discharged TODAY! And the doctor said the most common cause is raw or dirty chicken!!! Think I'm lying maple garden? Please leave your contact email and I'll show my my hospital papers

not impressed. chicken was dry and looked and tasted weeks old. even looked discoloured nowhere near fresh. wont be revisiting. pretty sure my stomach will be killing me in a few hours

Food was abysmal, Salt and Chilli Chicken with no seasonings or even the 'chilli'. Salt and Chilli chips with again no seasoning. Wontons over-cooked and felt like I was chewing a stone. Had Kung-Po Pork as I specifically didn't want Cashew pork to then get Kung-Po pork with cashew nuts in it. How does that work? Would recommend any other chinese than this one, how they failed to season all of the food is just beyond me. Overall flavourless and would give it 0 stars if I could.

Food arrived on the early side, which was perfect as we were starving hungry at the time. The food was hot, the portions were tasty and the amount of food we got for each separate item was great compared to the price. Any time we have Chinese this is our go to place, and it's always a pleasure to order here <3 Plus, it's always a bonus that we have plenty leftovers for the next day too!

Absolutely gorgeous food, Always hot on arrival and came in the earlier side of the estimate time of arrival which is awesome and lastly, the portion sizes are amazingly big so we have left overs for tomorrow :D

We always get Chinese takeaway from there. We never had any problem with the food at The Maple Garden. Most China’s takeaway are grease but Maple Garden. We usual order sweet and sour chicken and prawn balls, fried rice, chips and chew mein. Would order food from there again and again.

Absolutely disgusting! It's like the food is cooked in dirty oil...the rice was black! And the chicken tasted like days old rubber. everything other than the sping rolls was burnt, I'm offended they sent it out VILE!!!

Absolutely disgusting! Have 2 portions of rice when we ordered noodles. And when we opened the curry sauce could smell that it was burnt...actually makes me feel sick thinking about it! Would not recommend!

I live local so I've been ordering from Maple Garden for years. Never had any problems. Once when they were closed due to to refurbishment I ordered from another place in Smethwick and I had the worst experience ever. Stick to Maple Garden

Total rubbish don't use.... drive on a little some great places to eat in the area this is not one of them.. They find it really hard to get a simple order right... and looking at the place no way they got food certificates... not to clean... if you need any more take a look around the back.... if you have eaten for have and see what I seen it will make you sick, if your not all ready.....

Rough, it mostly went in the dog.
