Food was only warm. Small portions, veg in chow mein when asked for no veg.

Chicken foo young was mainly all onion. Chicken curry was just watery sauce. Sorry but won't order again. Food was poor.

absolutely shocking. will never eat there again. i ordered my usual but from here instead big mistake😡😡. when i asked for a chicken chow main i got a chicken fried rice which tasted revolting, bland and dry. when i called back to say i ordered chicken chow main not chicken fried rice she tried to convince me that i said i ordered chicken fried rice (i never order this so i wouldn’t of even said it by mistake) i don’t recommend here.😡

I have always been exceptionally impressed with the food here, until now. I ordered the Chicken balls, half the size of previous orders. The chicken was dry, I assume because the chicken was cooked before the batter had finished cooking. Can't fault the service though. Deliveries have always been early and delivery driver, polite and friendly as always.

delivery person is wonderfully polite. box meal came separated, which was perfect! nothing was soggy. Great attention to detail

The chicken kung po was not made with peanuts but with cashew nuts. Not what I remember and nit what i was expecting unfortunately. It was ok. very similar to the Cantonese sweet and sour chicken but not as sweet. . Rest of food was good

Enjoyed our takeaway, delivery was quick but probably due to Wednesday night, Bit pricey compared to other Chinese takeaways in this area.

Excellent food. hot & sour soup, deep fried prawns in salt & pepper, dry spare ribs with lemon, roast pork curry with fried rice, fried chicken with green peppers and black sauce with fried soft noodles. All absolutely delicious. Always a pleasant delivery driver :)

Appetisers cold and dry and inedible, curry just sauce and hardly any meat and rice so dry looked like been put in an oven to keep warm and dried out

Thought we would try a different Chinese and I'm glad we did. Food was lovely, will definitely be ordering from here again. The only criticism I have is the portion size of the chips and seasame prawn toast, only 5 pieces of toast! Needs to be more.

The Hot Wok is consistently good. I do miss the coriander chicken though. :)

Haven't used Hot Wok for a while, so ordered from them again for a change. I was slightly disappointed to see the contents of both the curry and rice containers were not as generous as some of the local Chinese takeaways I've been using of late. Neither were 'to the brim', like others were. Would have to consider whether I used them again, just based on that alone, as the quality was very similar, i.e decent.

Have been coming to Hot Wok for years for food. Always been really happy with food and service from the really friendly staff. Is highly recommended.

Really lacked in flavour and taste, we were really disappointed to be honest. Curry was really runny and had minimal taste.

Have used a few times now, food quality is good and always hot and arrives earlier than time stated. Quite enjoyed the boxed meals - good price and are nice portions. Only gripe is that each time we've received our food, the sweet and sour sauce has leaked out of the polystyrene tray and into the bag - its a mess but not enough of an issue to put me off ordering.

Do you need food to be "Extra Hot give me Extra Money " said the rude Chinese lady. I was irritated with the portion size for the cash I paid. Will never go back there

House special curry and beef with mushrooms were terrible like water had about 9 prawn crackers to feed the 3 of us spent over 30 quid wont be using again

Staters were great. Unfortunately there was a nasty burnt flavour with the curry. Not able to eat most of it. Real shame as the food is usually very good. Fast, friendly delivery.

Arrived early. Piping hot and delicious. Ordered a special curry. Slightly disappointed there were no prawns in it.. Still really nice though. Curries are always lovely from here.

My food was delivered early and was piping hot, delivery lady was nice. Unfortunately, the portions were TINY! Food was tasty enough, just wasn't much of it. Won't be ordering from here again. Can get double the portions for the same price elsewhere

I don’t understand the positive reviews? Obviously people have never had a real thai green curry or penang curry! Thai green curry had no taste or sauce. Prawns just full of sliced fried onions. Obviously people don’t know food anymore.

Almost spot on! Asked for something to be removed but wasn’t so couldn’t eat it! Hopefully next time will be okay.

Singapore chow mein Terrible no prawns, I’d get more meat in a vegetarian dish, This dish is supposed to be cooked with a curry paste and it was not, bland. No green or red peppers, Noodles dry and no taste, never again, I could cook better myself, like I said never again. Over priced and really not value for money. Give me a call if you want a new cook!!!!!

Food was quite poor - little taste and for an order for 5-people at over £50 they provided just one small bag of prawn crackers! When asked for more they refused to give free and we had to pay even more money! Very disappointed and certainly will not go there again - terrible!

The time of delivery shot up after I ordered... Food was cold, chips and prawn toast were hard, couldnt eat them, yuk sung no flavour and chicken curry lacked the chicken!

Portions quite small. Chow mein was very tasty with plenty of meat. The satay dish was not quite what I expected. Very pale sauce, soft mushy chicken and a random mixture of vegetables.

Food was scrumptious as always, delivery too alot longer than normal today was well over an hour, so guessing they was busy. Normally only take bout 30- 40 mins. Highly reccomend hot wok. Never had a bad meal from here. Thank You 😀

Our food arrived hot. It was very tasty again. I had the special fried rice. It was full of meat and lovely veggies. Mushrooms, onions, water chestnuts, carrots, baby corn and broccoli. All in a very tasty sauce. Just the best. Definitely ordering again.

This is the first time of ordering and it won't be the last Food arrived hot and on time. Ty green curry was amazing and full on lovely veggies. Hubby had sweet and sour chicken balls and scoffed the lot. So tasty.
