This place is the best for Chinese food, amazing and lovely and very friendly people who will make you feel so welcome! Amazing food! good prices and just excellent and fresh! always go here you won’t be disappointed!

I always order Mongolian Beef. Delicious sauce, tender beef and great vegetables.

We were staying in Rockley park for a holiday and decided to have a Chinese takeaway there were a few to choose from but we decided to go for this one as it had higher ratings than the others. The lady who served us was very friendly and polite. Came back to our pod and the chicken chow mein was amazing (hubby said the best he has had) the Singapore fried rice… the chicken was lovely but the rice was very dry chips and curry sauce was delicious too. Overall a nice Chinese restaurant!!

Ordered a Chinese for collection got there to collect order was told we only take cash we were not told this when placing order. Only having phone on me to pay with my Apple Pay I asked what am I supposed to do they said go on our website order items again and pay through your phone the lady put all item I ordered through on my phone for and added a £3:99 delivery charge I said why are you charging me delivery I’m collecting order she said oh sorry. It would not take my Apple Pay payment so I had to ring my partner who then had to do a bank transfer to them. When I get home we realise there is a meal missing so rang them up was asked can you have it next time you order or can you come collect it I said no I’m not coming back out after all the trouble earlier. They finally said we will sent it out to you 30 minutes later. Shocking service will never go back again do not recommend

Used to be a lovely restaurant with fantastic food, we were really surprised how it has changed when we visited for my birthday in April Food was mediocre and nothing like it used to be, It's a big restaurant but everyone is seated close together at one end of the room so you get no privacy to talk, the staff stand around nearby watching everyone, whilst I can see the advantages for the staff to have everyone in one area and be available all the time, it really was not a nice experience, felt like we were just being watched constantly. The house wine tasted of chemicals and the carpet was stickier than KCs used to be. Such a shame.

Happy Chef is the greatest Chinese Takeaway I have had. I ordered Duck fried rice and was greeted with a combination of succulent tender meats. The customer service is amazing and a really friendly environment. It was made very quickly and I was also given free prawn crackers. This place is the best Chinese Takeaway in Torquay.

Sometimes you order a Chinese after a long tiring day and it’s a total hit and miss. But on this occasion everything was high quality, fresh, hot and good quality ingredients. I’ll definitely order again. The beer was Cold and nothing was bland. Best Chinese I’ve had in a while

Don’t even bother! Never met such RUDE staff in my life! Decided to go here for my son’s birthday. We had a 2 year old child that doesn’t eat more than about 2 chicken nuggets but yet they wanted to charge me £6 despite 10 full paying adults. The so called manager argued and shouted and said ‘child not eat!’ I said she is 2 years old and can quite happily have a chicken nugget off my plate. But that wasn’t good enough for miss snooty! So she decided to stand the other side of the restaurant and stare at us for the whole duration. All they are interested in is filling the till and ushering you out the door. You are on a time limit which makes you feel very uncomfortable. The staff are so rude it’s unbelievable. Can’t buy 1 drink as they have a minimum spend of £10 for a card. Yet more proof they only want to fill the till. So due to the rudeness and the principle of £6 for a 2 year old to have 2 chicken nuggets they have lost any further business from my family. Just look at the reviews for a true picture of this shocking place. It’s not like there are just 1 or 2 poor reviews!

Possibly the most disgusting takeaway I've ever had.sweet and sour chicken balls where greasy, the crispy belly pork was just bits of fried fat and the special fried rice tasted stale, greasy overcooked left overs. Managed a couple of mouthfuls then straight into the bin bypassing the dog as I don't want her to have the shits as well. get a proper chef / microwave operator

We celebrated my sons 30th birthday and it was wonderful. The hostess was exceptionally lovely and the food…delicious!!!! We will be back for sure

The food was delicious, and the atmosphere was pleasant. The staff were polite and provided excellent service. I thoroughly enjoyed my experience.

So we are from the North of the country and are visiting the mother for the weekend, having travelled for 4 hours to get here we decided on ordering a Chinese takeout rather than eating in a restaurant. Found this place ordered and collected. Well how disappointed we all were! I have never seen spring rolls like this, all batter with no filling and went for the large ones too so we could have a generous filling! The mixed special fired rice was disgusting, more like a risotto rice, all soggy! The prawn crackers were ever so greasy and extremely thick! The salt and chilli chips were just like plain ones! The whole meals were shocking, will never return. Didn’t even waste my time taking pictures. We made toast at home and it was so much better.
