Ordered a takeaway to be delivered which arrived quick. Very tasty all round, went down a treat 😋 Would highly recommend!

Unfortunately we were not impressed with the food, we felt the dishes lacked flavour and were a bit too salty. The prices are also high relative to the quality of the food. Service was very friendly.

1st day of our long weekend. We come across this restaurant and we truly enjoyed food here. Service was good. Price is reasonable as well.

Worst "House Special Fried Rice" I have ever had. Almost £9 for a tray of boiled rice with 3 small slices of cold meat, topped with about a tablespoon of pink goo that was claimed to be BBQ sauce. The meat was only heated by the warmth of the rice, so the Salmonella count was probably through the roof. Wrote a nice email pointing this out, no reply. No apology. I'm informed this has become a common experience there, which is a shame, because the food used to be excellent. What a pity.

We spent close to 60 pounds on the meal. It was without doubt the worst takeaway that I have ever bought. Most of it ended up in the bin. Never again.

Got the order wrong. Kung Po Beef was OK, but the egg fried rice was the worst I have had. Shame really as the restaurant looks very nice.

Had 2 takeaway meals. Both were home delivery. The pancake rolls were the best ever! Food delicious and arrived quickly and hot. If we lived in the area, we would make it a regular treat.

Got a takeaway yesterday.. it's overpriced and absolutely disgusting and my stomach hasn't stopped hurting - thanks for the food poisoning!... If you must have Chinese takeaway then I'd recommend Modbury - nicer, cheaper (never gave me a food poisoning) and you get a complementary bag of prawn crackers!

Ordered a take-away from Cafe Asia which we collected from the restaurant. Person on the phone was friendly when ordering. The food was all nice, but very salty. Especially the salt and pepper squid starter (overly so)! Definitely one to do with a larger group of friends. Would certainly recommend collecting rather than delivering else the batter goes a bit soggy.

What can I say! Food below average!! Cold!! Bland!! Also spent £50 and absolutely nothing extra!! Not a prawn cracker in site!! This over charging and poor service needs to stop the world's gone mad. Avoid!!!

Do not go if you are gluten intolerant!!! She checked if it was gf and I was sick because of gluten like how can you mess that up??? Not happy at all I will not be going back verry disappointed

Young girl on the phone no experience kept having to repeat my self and we end up with our food with out any rice after delivery,living a good 8 minute away I had to go back and ask for the item that was missed to which I was meet with a very rude gentleman I explained what had happen and my food was getting cold at home he would not give my the food which I ordered and paid for he was very pushy forme to pay again,other than that food was very much on the greesy side, half a pot of sweet and sour sauce maybe they forgot to put the other half in that aswell. cafe Asia needs too brush up on there customers service skills and maybe then the quality of food could be over looked

Sadly, no matter how many times we ask that the Emperor Duck with pancakes isn’t burnt, nine times out of ten it is. I’ve lived here over 20 years but am slowly coming to the point whereby I can’t use this restaurant for a reliable high quality delivery meal - sad times

We've ordered from here a few times now and haven't been disappointed. The service is fast and our order has always been correct. The dishes are really tasty and are very good portions.

Nice takeaway. Very tasty. Good selection and nice range. In restaurant quick and swift no hassles collection. Parking can be an issue though.

2 starters and 2 mains. Ribs had no chilli Wonton had poor sauce (very standard pre bought dip) Chicken balls and sweet and sour (poor sauce no sour. Just sweet) Shredded chilli beef. Same sauce as the sweet and sour. No chilli - sauce was so sweet. Crispy beef was just chewy. Not going back. Wish I could give no stars/circles.

It's not even worth debating... that was without a doubt the best Chinese I've ever had! We were on a beach in the middle of nowhere for my birthday and the local pub told us they'd stopped serving food, so we called these guys who were not only happy to deliver to us in a carpark in the middle of nowhere but brought us some of the best food I've ever had the pleasure of eating! Friendly staff great service a food to die for. Thank you Cafe Asia you made a great birthday even better!

The food from Cafe Asia used to be excellent. Sadly since the pandemic and only takeaway being available the quality of the food has hit low, As I said the food used to be good from here now it’s disgusting. That’s the last time you’ll even smell any of my hard earned money

Lovely food everytime we order, would give five stars but its a nightmare trying to get hold of them, I think they need to get an app or be able to order online. But it is worth the wait once you do get your order in

Have used Cafe Asia for eons, generally get a decent 7/10 meal, but do often experience unnecessarily long waiting times, and when that is the case, the food is nearly always soggy and sub standard. We live 0.5 mile from the restaurant and probably order twice a month from them, a meal for two, at a cost of around £40 (they're not cheap!) this latest time I questioned the price and was informed there was a delivery charge of just under £3 for deliveries in town. So not only are they charging London prices for the food, they're also making money on delivery. I spoke to a driver to ask the crack, and he said that often the drivers get told to wait even if an order is ready to go, so a driver can head out with multiple orders in one round trip, sometimes as many as 10 orders a time, apparently this regularly means that the first order ready to go can be left sitting around for up to 20 minutes before its put out to delivery and then could be another 15-20 minutes whilst it's out on delivery; so not only are you paying for delivery, you're getting food that's been sitting around for as long as 35-40 minutes after it's cooked, all the while Cafe Asia can take up to £30 in delivery charges for a round trip that can take as little as 20 minutes and they pay their drivers less than £10hr.

Sorry to say that this was the absolute most disgusting foul takeaway I have ever experienced. Overpriced and tasteless. My wife and I spent around £35 for a takeaway on Friday and were really disappointed. The guy serving was polite and helpful, the shop itself was very clean and inviting but the food was awful. I appreciate the fact that they do not use MSG flavouring and that my taste buds may differ from those leaving five stars but I would have liked far more flavour.

We ordered a delivery for eight adults and the food was incredible! Freshly cooked, piping hot and bearing in mind it was a big order, it arrived quickly and everything was accurate. Totally recommend the Massaman cury

We ordered a substantial meal from here only to find a portion of Sweet and Sour Chicken balls missing, these took 37 mins to be delivered, during this time the food had to sit in an oven keeping warm. When we came to dish it up we were missing a sauce, when phoning we were abruptly told you didn’t order one!! I think the best part of this meal was putting it in the bin! We definitely won’t be ordering from this establishment again.

Ordered takeaway for the first time tonight 16a seafood in ginger and spring onion and the prawns and mussels were uncooked,I ordered 147 Singapore chow mein and it was dry , uncooked and powder like ,the bottle of coke was the only decent thing

Disgusting and undercooked. Get a new chef as food is not fresh and is precooked then reheated. Not fresh as they claim on menu's. Don't order as your liable to get food poisoning. Staff just the same as complain on phone they get gobby and put phone down. If they ever speak to my daughter like they did again i will go down there myself and spark em out. If uou want food poisoning then order from them otherwise don't as only fit for the bin. And that's all its fit for the Bin. Ser pic Gonna get Food Hygiene standards to pay them a visit or get a qualified Chef in. Reporting this and pics to council tomorrow morning..

The most rude customer service I have ever experienced in my life. Absolutely disgusting. Believe it was from the manager who was passed on to the phone to talk to me and proceeded to speak like I was 12 years old. Incredibly condescending and tried playing it off as they were "just busy"

Best Chinese we've had for years.

We had special fried rice (nice chunks of meat), sweet and sour chicken, beef in black bean (recommended), egg fried rice and duck chow mien (a bit soupy, like chop suey). It was plenty to feed 5 and not too expensive. We’d go again.

Without fear of contradiction this was the worst takeaway I've ever had. The battered King Prawns looked awesome but were about two thirds batter and one third prawns. The sweet and sour sauce was par for a takeaway and the egg fried rice had barely...

Splendid little restaurant and takeaway in Kingsbridge. Food is very tasty and wide variety of dishes including Chinese, Malaysian and Thai. Staff very helpful with advice on your choices if required. Portions are good size but not over facing. Great fun trying to use chopsticks but you can always have cutlery

Takeaway as we were staying in Holiday cottages nearby. Delivered on a Saturday night for a small fee on time with food still warm. Chinese was pretty good.

Staff here were very pleasant and helpful, and very willing to answer any questions you might have about the meals.We had a lovely dinner with wonderful food. We shared vegetarian spring rolls as an entrée, then for main had Szechuan crispy sea bass and kung po king prawns, both with rice. The service was very good, food terrific and the atmosphere really good so we had a nice dinner.

Looked at the takeaway menu which looked superb and very clear however decided to eat in. Good atmosphere and friendly staff. We had the deluxe mixed starter which was superb. We questioned the waitress on the Kung po sauce on the mains and were told it was sweet rather than hot and spiced, this turned out to be totally wrong and was very hot. We also had the crispy lemon chicken which was swimming in a sauce which resembled a hot lemon curd, very disappointing. It was a meal of two halves, just wish we had chosen familiar dishes.

The most superb take away meal, we had a couple of the appetizer starters (Won-tons and pancake roll), and then a Thai Green Curry and Malaysian Prawn dish, it was all absolutely perfect, truly without fault and I will definitely be coming back!

Easily the best Asian restaurant in the area. Excellent food, and the newly hired Malasian chef is cooking up excellent Chinese and Malasian food using local produce (fish specifically). Far out strips 99 % of London Asian restaurants let alone the local competition. Staff were attentive and friendly as ever. Would highly recommend.

A good start to the meal.Basically food came out for the Buddha menu. starters were good followed by the duck and pancake rolls.

This restaurant was recommended to us by “Jas” who served us at the Sloping Deck in Dartmouth. (Who also works there) Glad we took her advice and visited. I have never used the restaurant section of this Chinese, only ordering take out on 3 occasions in 2018. I have not been back since. I found the portion sizes really tight for the pricing. More sauce and onions than anything else in their meat dishes. The various choices I have tried have all been very bland, nothing special. It makes me chuckle that their variation on a supposedly 'Hawaiian style dish' is just to add a bit of pineapple to regular special fried rice, then hike up the price. Staff irritated me, young giggling girl behind service counter - too busy joking around with other staff to acknowledge us. I mean sod off, I hate that, It's so unprofessional. No extras like prawn crackers, (after spending far above average). Expensive, rude staff, thinly spread take out. On the plus side, they seem to deliver so if you are happy with watery luke warm takeout, I say go for it.
