Didn’t notice before ordering that the Hygiene Rating is 2/5!! “Requires improvement” Shan’t be ordering again until the rating goes up.

Easily the best Chinese in Haslemere and the surrounding area. The food is consistently delicious with great portions sizes too. A delivery option would be amazing & accepting card payments a plus, but they're just minor niggles in the scheme of things.

Never had a bad meal here. Definitely the best Chinese food in Haslemere in terms of food quality and taste.

We get a take away from New Lotus House every couple of weeks and it's always really good. The staff are lovely and friendly. Highly recommend the Singapore chow mein, beef curry and hot & sour soup which are my favourites.

Been using them for years. They changed hands a while back and for a while the quality dropped a little but has recovered. I am a regular and the food is very good. They do some gluten free options for my wife which is great. Love the capitol ribs. The previous cook did beatiful rice and now it is not quite the same - a bit dry - but otherwise we are very happy with them and they are always friendly and helpful.

I can (cant) fault the place. I can fault them for not sering customers in the shop before those on the phone, i had 3 callers cut me off whilst standing in 1st place in the shop once. Next visit if there's a que i'll call them while in their shop and place my order as a big FU to everyone ahead of me in the shop! Food wise / love it, number 53 chicken with chilli's, egg fried rice and some dry ribs :P They don't take card unfortunately which sucks. - even our absurd amount of barber shops (?drug fronts) have started taking credit cards

The food is substandard. Twice I've eaten from there and been ill. My advice stay away from any kind of sasuage. The chips are OK and the chow mein and lunch boxes they do. But only go here as a last resort IMO

Called up the restaurant using the number provided on here but was told the restaurant is now called Lucky Star - that should have been my red flag. Anyway, placed my order and went to pick it up and what do you know? The chicken was rancid. I did not want to believe it, why would a restaurant with so many great reviews give me rancid salt and pepper chicken? But alas, I could not deceive myself even if I tried - I had been given chicken that had gone OFF cleverly coated in spring onions and chillies. Why for all that is good would you guys do something so obviously bad? Have you no conscience? Are you dead inside? Is money all that matters to you? Do you wish me dead? Is everything else rancid as well or is it just the chicken? ANSWER ME!!!

We have been using Tasty House most Fridays since we moved to Farnham 7 years ago. Food has always been good, sometimes off colour but you can forgive and forget when you use somewhere that regularly. However, just lately the service has been going downhill, people on the phone lack knowledge and experience and customer service skills. This evening we ordered our usual order, however one of our dishes was missed off and didn’t arrive. No problem at all, I called and explained. I was met with a very rude response “you have to collect it”, well that’s unlikely given I’ve ordered a delivery. If not the only option was it pay £4 for them to deliver the item they forgot to send! They were exceptionally rude and I asked if they wanted our business after this many years? To which they said no. That’s enough for me!

We had another great take away last night. They are always very helpful and delicious food! I don't think these other reviews can be from the same place?
