The best restaurants serving Chinese food in Brighton and Hove South East

Very delicious and authentic noodles車仔麵. Its so good that I have to buy it back to London to give my boyfriend a try! P.S. their fans since I was in university. It’s one of my must go restaurant when I’m back to Brighton for conference! Will come back for sure

Been looking for a good Thai place for ages and this place hit the spot. Delicious food and unbelievably quick delivery. Highly reccommend.

Had MaPo Tofu served by a lovely hostess. The menu looked very extensive and I feel l may go back and have a Chinese curry sometime. It was nice and quiet at 12.30pm , which is fine with me 🐱

We have been going to Danny's for a while now. Best Chinese restaurant we have ever been to. I won't have a Chinese meal anywhere else. Food is delicious and plentiful, service is great.

Visited with friends for an evening out. The portion sizes were disappointingly small and menu was very limited. They state that the service surcharge is applied to tables under 6. We were very surprised to find a surcharge of £70 was added without our knowledge for service that was below average. My advice for visiting this establishment is to check your bill carefully to make sure they do not add a surcharge without your consent. I would suggest that staff are re trained regarding the application of a surcharge which is at the customer’s discretion. We left the place feeling let down and disappointed by the experience.

Hands down the worst Chinese I’ve ever been too. And I’ve visited a few. All they cater for are couch potatoes that don’t even like Chinese but like what they can do with a fryer. Absolutely clueless 😂

Después de leer las críticas esperaba algo especial, sin embargo, sentí que el lugar no estaba a la altura de sus expectativas. Los fideos tirados a mano con pechuga de ternera eran lo suficientemente agradables, pero los fideos son casi como mini láminas de lasaña y hacían que la parte superior del plato fuera pesada y robusta. El plato no tenía suficiente sabor y tuve que añadir más vinagre y salsa de soja para animarlo. Sin embargo, lo peor fue la porción de carne de res que venía con los fideos que era demasiado pequeño, de ninguna manera lo suficiente, así que se sintió un poco arrancado por esta parte (por favor, ver foto). Toda la comida era pesada, densa y sosa. Ten cuidado con los tamaños de las porciones de proteína que no estipulan lo que muestran en sus fotografías anunciadas.

I ordered a plate of three fresh dumplings, 12 dumplings. They were not big in size and tasted average. The key was that some of the skins were not cooked yet. A small plate of stir-fried pork. The meat was cut into different thicknesses and there were only three small slices of green pepper. It was the first time I knew that the stir-fried pork did not come with side dishes. The portion size and taste of the dishes were not worth the price, and the cooking was so perfunctory that I was convinced. They even charged a 10% service fee when checking out. I won’t come again next time.

Had a mango drink that was advertised as being filled with mango chunks, but came as just a mango flavoured milk tea with no real fruit at all. Didn't realise until I was home, as it was put in a bag, and when I contacted on Instagram to ask if this was a quality issue and never got a response. Very over-priced for what it was, and really felt like false advertising to me. Wouldn't go back unfortunately.

Went during dinner time Had kung pao chicken, pickled cabbage fish soup and saliva chicken The owner is friendly ! Efficient service, the kung pao chicken is truly the best for me for overall flavor. Good price for the amount of food you get Will come back to try other dishes

Muy buen lugar para entrar cuando estoy en mi camino al trabajo. Siempre me gusta el cangrejo sopa ? Así como elegí un poco de carne con salsa de frijol negro.

I had shrimp vermicelli and it felt like each ingredient had been boiled, then tossed together in the box at the end - it was the worst noodle I had. Everything was completely tasteless and rubbery, not even a pinch of salt. Really confused on how they could have messed this up that bad, I don't think it had touched a wok to be fried together as a whole. I had it with white mushroom and beef, which was slightly tastier, but it was just watery, with a pinch of salt. I had to season both dishes at home with salt, chilli oil and peanut sauce. Feel robbed of £20 for that meal - won't be buying from here again.
