Comida fresca cocinada frente a usted a precios muy razonables. Servicio amable. Un montón de lugares para comer alrededor de Preston Street, pero este merece hacerlo bien. Muy muy bueno.

Comida realmente encantadora, fresca y sabrosa.

A fantastic shared meal from the vegan menu, lots of choices, we ordered 2 big noodle dishes and 4 sides to share and drinks, it was all delicious, fresh, and light. The staff were helpful and friendly and food arrived on our table within minutes of ordering. Liked the open plan kitchen and will definitely pay this gem a few more visits.

Disappointing. Not normally one to grumble about my food but find it difficult to keep quiet about this bad experience where I felt I left that place having been overcharged for something not great at all. I think it’s overpriced, and I struggled to finish the noodles. I thought I would order a nice noodle dish for lunch. They just made something up with what I think were leftovers and added tasteless pieces of beef instead of the lamb I ordered. This is one of the ones I will avoid in Preston Road. I paid 13.50£ for some takeaway noodles which were dry and didn’t taste nice.

WOW, what a find, a friend recommended this place 4 our evening meal, a lovely little noodle bar, interesting decor & very pleasant staff. The food was stunning, freshly made & plenty of it. Very tasty prawn dumplings & minced pork noodles, washed down with some Chinese beer. Nom nom, well worth a visit if you are in Brighton.

Quite perfect. Ordered Biang Biang noodles and asked for spicy-ish. They got it spot on. Great, healthy food full of flavour and friendly service. I’ll be back.

Excellent food! We had the hand pulled noodles - simply delicious, and not something you find in your run of the mill Chinese restaurant. Highly recommend.

I have visited Shaanxi on numerous occasions since they opened with various sets of friends - it’s my “go to” place. The dishes are freshly prepared in the open kitchen, offering a great choice with the option to choose less or more spicy. I was surprised my favourite dish, the hot and dry noodles, is actually a vegan dish. I am gradually working through the menu, the hand-stretched Biang Biang noodles are superb and a novelty to see being prepared. Friendly staff, a great atmosphere, reasonable prices and something a bit special - Shaanxi gets my vote - thank you, see you again soon…..

Completely authentic food, elegant decor and a spotless kitchen make this a five-star dining experience, for certain. I've spent years of my life living and working in mainland China, Taiwan and Hong Kong and this is some of the best Shaanxi style cuisine I've had outside of China. Shaanxi food has an intriguing blend of Chinese and Middle Eastern spices and flavours, reflecting its role as one of the main cities on the Silk Road. The staff here have done a great job of staying true to those flavours, making their own noodles and flatbread to ensure their biang biang noodles (油泼面辣子)and rou jia mo (肉夹馍 - deliciously spiced beef or pork served in a flatbread pocket) are true to their China counterparts. I don't eat meat that often anymore, but when I entered the restaurant I could tell they were doing everything right, so I had my first rou jia mo in at least 10 years. It was well worth the wait. If you're in the mood for Chinese cuisine and you're in Brighton, the Shaanxi restaurant should be on your list.

Had a mango drink that was advertised as being filled with mango chunks, but came as just a mango flavoured milk tea with no real fruit at all. Didn't realise until I was home, as it was put in a bag, and when I contacted on Instagram to ask if this was a quality issue and never got a response. Very over-priced for what it was, and really felt like false advertising to me. Wouldn't go back unfortunately.

Hands down the worst Chinese I’ve ever been too. And I’ve visited a few. All they cater for are couch potatoes that don’t even like Chinese but like what they can do with a fryer. Absolutely clueless 😂

Hands down my favourite takeaway. The vegan range is absolutely brilliant and all delicious. I think I am addicted to the vegan yasai fried rice! My Mum came down from the midlands recently to visit and ordered the chow mein which she said was the best she'd ever had. So much so, I have just ordered one for her to take up there with me tomorrow!
