My son had wanted to go all week as he had learned about Hot Pot dishes in Japan in school. So we went there in the middle of the afternoon where no one else seemed to eat lunch/dinner. We were met by a very nice host who explained the system to us and as we were two adults and a child (12 years) recommended that we only made 2 hot pots as this would be plenty of food. We picked the ingredients and they were carried off to cook. Not very long after they arrived steaming hot in two big pots and it tasted delicious. I had never tried it before and it was a wonderful and great new experience which wasn't very expensive either. The Chinese cabbage was the biggest surprise. Who could know it would taste that good!! As the host realized that my son was into One Piece, he even put on the sound track from the Anime. Can highly recommend this place.

We absolutely love this place: the food is so good and reasonably priced, the stuff is very nice and helpful and it’s very clean in the restaurant. Also dishes are prepared really quickly. We visited it several times during our trip to Brighton and will be back for sure (our fav is beef with flat rice noodles)

We had a first table booking and travelled the long way to try. So very impressed with the amount and quality of the starters. Salt pepper ribs and soft shell crab. Firstly the soft shell crab was huge. But both dishes were very tasty. The best quality salt pepper ribs I’ve had. We ordered crispy lamb and pork belly and special fried rice. I think the price was ok for the main dishes. However the rice was unseasoned the lamb like bullets and the pork belly bland. Huge let down in main courses. We were glad we did the first table discount. It a shame we live so far away not to be able to carry on trying their starters. Overall disappointing.

Sadly we had a poor experience last night at the restaurant. The place was busy and our group of 11 were treated with some very bad service. When I’m out with a group for the evening I usually don’t mind about the speed of service however there were some major failings. Most of us ate a cold dinner because of the speed the plates came out. We probably waited close to 10 minutes from the first to last dish arriving. My drinks order(s) never arrived as requested. The meals were ok but never that great when luke warm. I’m told the crispy pork crackling side dish closely resembled some Quavers not Pork scratchings. The final insult was when we came to pay. We had taken the bill and added a tip despite the above and told the waiter how much to charge each couple. He did not listen and said we had to do it his way. He then charged us what was on the bill without a tip despite it saying groups of eight or more included a service charge although it was not shown our bill! He then said he’d made a mistake and went round asking us to all pay again. I pointed out that actually, this was the final straw and I was not happy to pay the service charge. Cold food, my incorrect drinks and slow service being the reason. This was then mismanaged even further. We were bullied into paying the charge and left. I will never return, very poor experience

Hands down the worst Chinese I’ve ever been too. And I’ve visited a few. All they cater for are couch potatoes that don’t even like Chinese but like what they can do with a fryer. Absolutely clueless 😂

Had a mango drink that was advertised as being filled with mango chunks, but came as just a mango flavoured milk tea with no real fruit at all. Didn't realise until I was home, as it was put in a bag, and when I contacted on Instagram to ask if this was a quality issue and never got a response. Very over-priced for what it was, and really felt like false advertising to me. Wouldn't go back unfortunately.

¡Absolutamente increíble menú si estás interesado en platos tradicionales de Beijing que no encontrarás en ningún otro lugar en Brighton o en cualquier otro lugar del Reino Unido!

One of the biggest surprises during our stay in Brighton. You have the option to dine in or takeaway we opted to dine in. The king prawn rice noodles were fantastic. The beef in the chow mein was tender and flavourful. Sweet and sour chicken was amazing. The best Chinese takeaway I’ve had in a while would highly recommend!!!

Is China China still open? I went down there with a business friend two Saturday’s ago- peak evening time - and the restaurant was closed. I called the China China number just now and the message was Number Unobtainable. One of my favourite, fun restaurants in town. Hope it’s only a temporary closure.
