The best restaurants serving Chinese food in South East

Best Chinese around! Delicious every single time. Reasonably priced. Love this place!

Our usual take away is closed so I thought we would try here for a change, food arrived much quicker than expected and unfortunately that's where the positive experience ended. Quality was poor (my wifes chicken was inedible) and overall not great.

Food is nice most times, but the seasonings are not always consistent. e.i sweet and sour sauce at times its too sour or too sweet, other times its fine. Beef in black been sauce was too salty. Love the salt and pepper chips though.

Really love the buffet times at Bejing, a chance to try lots of different foods and they seem to serve sensible sized portions to allow you to do this.

This place is agem and it's always great to go there, one of the best Chinese food restaurants I have ever been. Love the homestyle tofu with the best chilli oil ever! They even have green beans as a dish, a Vegetarian heaven! Staff are so nice they remember you and greet you even when they are so busy. You are given a lovely complimentery orange slices at the end too. It's nice to eat somewhere where staff are happy 😊

Waited over 2 hour for the food to be delivered and turned up and it had started to go cold. We had to ring up twice and each time told it was on its way. Which it clearly was not! The food although not as hot as we would like it was nice.

My 14 yo coeliac daughter had a lovely meal at Cote in Wokingham tonight, service was amazing, all the team were so lovely and thoughtful. Gluten free flags and very knowledgeable - highly recommend.

Can't knock the food as it was very nice, and our servers were very polite. However, one of the head staff members seemed a bit annoyed and was passive-aggressive to his staff in front of us. On the food, it was lovely.

Freshly cooked food. The prawns with ginger and spring onion was amazing. The food always is. I took my friend for her first time and she loved it. The price is really fair for the quality of food. Manager always makes me laugh, I wouldnt go anywhere else.

Went for dinner on a Sunday night and the Royal China was packed, luckily there was 1 table left for us (we hadn’t thought to book as it was a Sunday) The staff were lovely and attentive enough. The food was delicious, fresh and light and despite how busy they were we didn’t have a long wait. There’s a few posts that have mentioned price so for an idea for starters, mains (2 were King Prawn) and a couple of alcoholic drinks and a tip we spent £45 a head. We had a very enjoyable time.

We went there on the 18/9/24 food was very nice took a long time to arrive lots of takeaways given priority, when food did arrive part of the order was wrong so again a wait until it was right, no atmosphere and very poor service, we wanted a Rose spritzer would not open a bottle unless we bought the whole bottle said they had run out of small bottles, no plate warmers on table so food got cold whilst we was eating don't think I would give it a second go might be better as just a takeaway.
