Superb! Best Chinese restaurant I've been to. Food is excellent and the staff are extremely friendly and helpful, nothing is too much trouble for them.

Really nice furniture layout and so very clean. Excellent service and great food. We had, beef rendang, yungchow chow mein, beef chow mein, king prawn (Thai) chow mein, duck in plum sauce, honey ribs, bbq ribs, hot and sour soup, lettuce rolls (veg), Singapore rice, yungchow fried rice. All were great, and the prices reasonable, except for a pint of squash, which was £3.60 (that's excessive) and prawn crackers should be free and a tad pricey at £2.90 a portion. We had a really great lunch, and the service was faultless. Bill came to around £140, but that included 2 beers, 3 cokes (pints), a coffee and squash, so good value all in all.

Outstanding all round. As a vegan it's often difficult to get a wide range of food in Asian establishments, but not here. Excellent food, excellent choice, not too expensive and a friendlier environment you wouldn't find, the owner is also a real nice person.

Disappointed that the buffet is not available since covid.We had the Set Menu B with sweet &sour chicken £48. My wife and I have visited this restaurant for the last 15 years , Alan and Tom have always set a high standard for customer care. You can either eat from a buffet or from a diverse Cantonese menu . You won’t be disappointed.

Good variety of food not allways hot enough from the buffet but filled up quickly when running low. It's quite expensive for food and drinks, and a particular member of staff is very rude which is why I gave it 3 stars.

Visited a few years ago for my sisters birthday and overall enjoyed. As we had the buffet the selection was very good however some of the food was cold! Also have the option of ordering from the menu so can’t complain

Average food. Clean environment and staff and friendly. We weren’t informed verbally of this very odd ‘policy’ the restaurant has.. after our first plate of food we just happened to notice the sign on the wall which stated that if you left waste on your plate that you would be charged £5 per plate! The whole point of a buffet for me is to try different foods and if I don’t like them, I’d leave them, this left me to try my best to eat these horrid mushrooms (which looked nice) and spicy noodles which almost blew my head off. I will not be returning.

We go to the Golden Well with family and friends quite often. The food is always great and the welcome from the owners is always fantastic. Tonight we took our entire sports team (60 people including a mix of grown-ups and children) and the service and welcome were to the usual high standards. This is one of my favourite restaurants in the Area !

This is the best Oriental restaurant (buffet or A La Carte) in South Wales for me. I have visited many times over the years and they never fail to please. There is a huge choice of dishes all beautifully cooked and really tasty. Unlimited so great for families and children.

We went on a Saturday for a small party which was pre-arranged for 3 adults and 6 children for a 10th Birthday party.

I dined here on Sunday evening and had the buffet, I was half expecting it to be filled with the sort of ‘cheaper dishes’ if you may but was pleasantly surprised.

Having been to the Golden Well on many occasions for family togethers I just had to write a review after my last visit. The restaurant specialises in doing a buffet which is always excellent, freshly cooked and with masses of choice. I’ve tried just about everything over the years and can’t fault anything! If you do fancy a sweet, again in buffet form and included in the very reasonable price, the chocolate fountain is a must. Dip the profiteroles in it!

Have been here many times for the value for money eat well buffet on a Sunday, but arranged a family meal Saturday lunchtime and to my horror they didn't do the buffet on Saturdays. Eek.

This is a well appointed and bright restaurant with a very pleasant staff. There is a choice of buffet or menu. There is a huge choice of duck, beef and chicken dishes, ribs, crab claws, noodles and even chips. The dishes are very well cooked and spiced perfectly. My 5 year old grandson loved the muscles in garlic butter (!).

We been going here for big family get together for about 5 years. The staff are friendly and are great with kids, and always make a fuss of them during birthdays.

We booked a table of 12 for our friends and family as a pre meal celebration. It is certainly value for money and has a very good choice of food. Considering it is buffet style, the restaurant and food area is extremely clean and was constantly being re-filled with fresh food. We would most certainly return.

Came here for my birthday and as always really enjoyed the staff are very friendly and go above and beyond to make your visit an enjoyable one, as for the food plenty to choose from starters to desserts there is a good variety which is always nice and hot and desserts chilled would definitely recommend this place xx

Today I've come to the restaurant and my 1 year old son was really enjoying until management came over and told me to not let my son drop food on the floor. And please can i tell him not to do it, he went on at me for at least 3 minutes saying he shouldn't be doing it. I was picking up after him and i always clean up after him. I've never been treated so bad in a restaurant. I will never go there again and strongly recommend anyone with children not to. I know people may fall if they make a mess but i always move it. Avoid avoid!!!

Yo tenía el almuerzo aquí con mi madre un sábado a las 1 pm. Fue casi desierta, pero creo que probablemente ocupado desde las 5 de la tarde en adelante cuando el buffet chino comienza. Es un restaurante muy amplio, con mesas grandes y sillas cómodas. Pedimos desde el menú a la carta y tuve rollitos de primavera y glaseado con miel costillas para empezar y pato en salsa de ciruela y pollo en salsa de frijol negro para el plato principal, con una porción de huevo frito arroz y pan de gambas. Teníamos un G&T; cada uno. La cuenta fue de 38 libras, me pareció muy razonable. El primer plato era excelente, fresco y recién preparado; los principales campos de ambos eran v sabroso, con mucha carne en ambos de ellos; un pequeño número de piezas de la carne de pato estaban un poco duro y el huevo frito arroz era un poco soso, pero en general fue una comida muy agradable en un entorno agradable, con un servicio muy agradable y rápido. Hay un aparcamiento al lado del restaurante, ya que se necesita un coche para llegar allí. Está a un corto trayecto en coche de la costa, y ogmore Cowbridge centro comercial bridgend.

Hemos estado aquí muchas veces. Alan y su personal son siempre muy atento y servicial. El buffet tiene una amplia variedad de platos para elegir. El menú a la carta es también vale la pena mirar con una gran variedad. Su grupo también puede mezclar y combinar según gusto. También hemos usado el restaurante para comidas en el exterior.

No hay que tomar un restaurante genial, sin duda no es fácil, ya que los seres humanos son criaturas inestable cuando se trata de comida. El Golden Well lo tiene todo y no está siquiera Estrellas Michelin ".

Mi pareja y yo nos alojamos en la zona unos días y nos pareció que la ubicación, ya que pasó por en la ruta a nuestro alojamiento, bien contentos que no y decidimos parar. Encantadora comida a gusto de todos en suite. Muy limpio, el personal es educado, pero ojalá me ofrecieron una mejor variedad de postres. Sí volveríamos a visitar si estamos en la zona, Pablo y Sheila West Sussex.

No gusta la comida picante demasiado calor disfrutamos más cosas cosas dulces no me equivocaba 2 más jóvenes y me gustó todo toledo intentó me encantó todo. No me puedo quejar de nada. Tuve comida no había probado antes algo demasiado picante para mi elección. Hay mucho para elegir.

El restaurante no era lo que esperábamos haber visitado establecimientos similares en el extranjero, este mercado era muy abajo en comparación. Todo el lugar estaba impecable de limpia los aseos entre las más limpias que he visto en cualquier lugar. El sitio me recordó de un café sin la cuchara sucia de transporte. No es un sitio para una comida tranquila ya que era muy ruidoso, con el par de personas que estaban allí. docena La comida del buffet no estaba expuesto en más de grandes contenedores, así que cuando reponía no fue un caso de comercialización de comida caliente en la parte superior de la comida que había estado allí por un tiempo, pero estaban cubiertas regularmente. La variedad de comida era prácticamente como cabe esperar en un restaurante Cantonés, con algunas excepciones. Una pequeña selección de sushi japonés, mientras que estaba disponible como castañas ingrediente agua y anacardo parecía faltarle desde platos chinos. Llamó para quejarse y el gerente no parece demasiado preocupado diciendo que no nos cobraron por ellos (algo que no podría verificar ya no me dieron una factura desglosada)! El gerente dijo que no podía sancionar el envío de los platos de sustitución (que ya habíamos abierto el resto de la comida y una bebida, así que no te despiertan estaban en situación de volver). Parece extraño que el gerente de establecimiento no podía hacer una llamada como este con el fin de proporcionar servicio al cliente! Los platos que terminó con no eran de la calidad que tenía anteriormente y que se espera de este lugar. Parece estar anclado en el pasado y estándares reputación han empeorado. No usaremos el Golden Well de nuevo en el futuro! ! !

Reserva aquí para una cena de San Valentín para mí y mi novio, cuando me llamó por teléfono para reservar una mesa para dos me cobraron 10 libras de depósito, el restaurante es bonito y limpio, pero la comida era promedio. However. the food is good however it has a new down side £5 charge for wastage. if you pay on your way out as you would normally. be carefull what time you leave in the afternoon as we were charged extra as we arrived at 3pm and left at 4.30 we had to pay the evening rate which was a lot more than the day time rate. when we questioned tge extra charge we were told its not the time you arrive but the time you finish your meal. awful absolutly awful.

Llevé a la familia para el cumpleaños de mi esposa como ella me apetecía algo diferente, y no había comido chino durante un rato. No es el lugar más barato para comer @ £14,99 un adulto, pero los niños de 3 y 5 años comieron gratis. El buffet se sirve únicamente a partir de las 5 pm y fuimos los primeros en muerta en 5, pero en menos de 30 minutos estaba todo pero completa. Gran variedad de entrantes y platos principales todo muy bien cocinado. Los niños (y su madre) me encantó la selección de dulces, especialmente el una fuente de chocolate. Todos comimos más que deberían, pero eso fue un testimonio de la calidad de la comida. Tan bueno como cualquier buffet chino que he probado. El personal era atento, dejándome platos sucios rápidamente así que podría haber uno limpio para el siguiente curso. Sin duda volveremos.

Yo era como la familia bacheloring por dos domingos y disfruté mi cena de ordenar para llevar. También he comido en el buffet. Su chow mein noodles de cerdo y dulces y cerdo agria hizo una maravillosa para llevar abundante. Encantadora bienvenida por un personal amable. Mucho espacio para un Estado parte que estaba en una silla de ruedas. Había una buena variedad de comida deliciosa, fresca y abundante. Los postres eran preciosas, mucha variedad, la fruta muy fresca y la fuente de chocolate es un gran éxito con los niños. Le doy 4/5 estrellas puramente porque es buffet y aunque es comida fresca personalmente creo que arroz, patatas fritas y los postres son incapaces de coincidir con el de preparación inmediata. Habiendo dicho esto, me gustaría desafío respecto a muchos lugares. Un buffet muy agradable de comer tanto o tan poco de su elección y una estupenda manera de probar platos nuevos.

Este es un lugar muy agradable para comer con la familia, sobre todo niños (menos de altura that1.4m comen gratis a ciertas horas)

Invited to a friends birthday party at this restaurant about 40 people in total. The food was great as were the staff.
