Good place for food, lady is lovely, great service

What a lovely find.. I was staying in a local hotel and the takeaway I usually go to is now closed so I stumbled upon this one and it didn't disappoint! The lady who served us was lovely and had a massive welcome, she didn't rush us as we didn't know quite what we wanted yet. Proper chippy chips were delicious and they fry them from fresh on the front. Crispy beef was very generous and the sauce was delightful. Mushroom foo yung was a large portion. As I was waiting for my order to be carefully prepared, I heard another customer order a large spring roll - not had one of these in a long time so next time, I will be sure to order this..! Thanks for a delicious dinner!

Always fantastic food here. Generous portion sizes, and always ready at the time you are told. Don't have to hang around for it like some places. Always meet with a happy smile too from the staff. No.1 Chinese Takeaway in Longridge.

Ordered food curry sauce had no flavour what so ever chicken like rubber and rice dry took a hour to come was advised on the wait but food barely warm will never order from there again

Chips cold egg fried rice one big soggy clump salt and pepper wings ok but greasy batter hard sweet and sour chicken chewy sauce not nice only thing nice was prawn crackerswon't be going again

I ordered chicken in sweet and chili sauce with soft noodles. It was the first time I ordered from them but definitely not the last. I like it, taste so good.

It's really busy at the weekends and the wooden floor and bare walls means the sound reverberates, so it's not the place for a quiet, romantic meal. Nevertheless, the food is very good, especially for vegetarians. There is a special menu with options other than side dishes made larger. I like the mock duck (which two people can share) and the tofu, that is properly prepared, not just plonked in the sauce at the last minute. I'd recommend the aubergine and tofu (slightly spicy), noodles with beansprout and plain rice. Jasmine tea is divine, too.

I was reassured by the price of the food example - £9.20 for Spare ribs, it was a lot more than I usually pay I thought this must be high quality and spot on but no it was OK at best.

Always have a boss meal, good value and service is fab!

Last night, Valentines night, my wife and I had the most delightful dinner at the Oriental Delight restaurant. I booked ahead by phone and was told there would be special fixed menu meal. From Our arrival at the restaurant it was special. We were made very welcome , the decor and ambience lovely. The food was absolutely fantastic as were all the members of staff who made our night memorable. We have been to the restaurant on several Previous occasions and will most certainly be back. The evening can best be described as fantastic .very well done to all the staff . Thank you.

Really enjoyed it here. We ordered a starter and a main. Very friendly staff we never felt rushed to eat. Clean place. Very enjoyable experience.

Food came cold, ordered spicy chicken but to them this means absolutely drown the plain chicken in 2 million chilli flakes. Wouldn’t really call this Chinese, not sure what cuisine it falls under really. Do not recommend unless you like eating 2KG of chilli flakes with a side of plain chicken and noodles.

Yet again, we had first-class service. The food was absolutely delicious. Nice and quiet and cosy atmosphere. The in place to visit.
