Best Chinese in Ulverston. The dishes always come out lighting fast and taste fresh. The prices are not super cheap but not expensive either. They don't accept cards so have some cash handy.

Friendly man through hatch serving. Had chicken chow mein. Quite wet with sauce compared to the normal dry chow mein I'm used to at home.

This used to be my go to take away. Always had amazing food from here but sadly if I could give it 0 stars I would. Last night I got a takeaway to treat myself and ended up with very bad food poisoning. I’m very disappointed, the food tasted a little different thank usual I should have taken that as a warning sign. Do better rainbow

Tried all other Chinese takeaways in ulverston, and this is by far the best , for quality and flavour , unfortunately they don't deliver but your phone orders are always ready in 10 to 15 mins to collect

Don't be put off by the rather ramshackle reception area. Really delicious tofu in black bean sauce. The menu for vegetarians is limited but there was no problem with doing us something to order. The rice crackers straight from the bag were very crispy and not oily like some can be. Will definitely return.

What do you do when theres no where to eat out because of Rishi’ generosity?? Have a take-away from the best Chinese ever! We even had to drive 6miles back to our hotel room and it was still Piping hot - thats how freshly it had been cooked - one word - Amazing! The rice was cooked to Perfection (takeaways at home ‘Prep’ rice in advance for the evening) the Beef was stunning as were the Fresh Prawns in the curry, Even the Prawncrackers were freshly cooked, the Meal for 2 was great value at £21 and we added a curry and chips - like I said, Amazing!

Delicious food. Gorgeous salt & pepper chicken & sweet and sour chicken Cantonese style. Wished I lived closer to this takeaway!

Family meal for 2 adults and 2 kids. We’ve tried all the Chinese Takeaways in the area, and this is the best we’ve had. They delivered within 40 mins Ona busy Saturday night and the food was warm and delivered by a friendly woman. The food was really clean And fresh and packed with meat. Really impressed and will use again.

The takeaway was bland and overly laden with onion, it would seem to pack it out with cheaper ingredient. The curry sauce is exactly the same with all of the curried dishes they do, because it's the curry you get if you buy it as a separate portion. In brief, it seems that they simply make a big pot of curry sauce and pour this over whatever curried takeaway you buy. It all seems a bit lazy and on the cheap. Even the salt and pepper chicken wings have gone to boneless supermarket type pieces. Disappointing to say the least. Staff are friendly but this doesn't make up for the lazy food.

With exception to the spring rolls, our takeaway was extremely disappointing compared to other takeaways in this area of Cumbria. Had a vegetable Chow Mein, a chicken meal and my family didn't really enjoy it, won't be going again

Alojarse en un sitio local la familia quería caravana para llevar una china, no estoy seguro de a donde ir, le pregunté a la chica en el local de Tesco, ella muy recomendado Rainbow.Fue todo un lujo, mi esposo aún está entusiasmado sobre las bolas de pollo. Toda la comida que había era sabrosa, colorida y no grasienta.

I was disappointed, although the service and order fulfillment were fast and accurate, Rainbow just doesn't deliver the complexity or flavor. The fried rice was so bland and lifeless, there were no onions, egg, carrot, or sesame, just rice, peas, and chicken (boring). Plus they didn't have take-away soy sauce, hot mustard or duck sauce packets (IMO an epic fail for Chinese taka-away). Try the others even its more expensive.

Now they do sweet n sour chicken balls they get there 5th star, they substitute onions n peas for extra bean sprouts yum yum, there's just 1 last hurdle Salt n Pepper Chips my bruvs n mrs' fave......

This one is takeaway only as opposed to the Jade and Lotus and whilst one of four in the local area it is one that we primarily use for its consistency and value

El Arco iris no es sólo la mejor comida china llevar en Ulverston, es probablemente la mejor comida china que llevar que he estado (y he probado unos cuantos! ). La sopa caliente y amarga y las costillas (nuestra orden invariable) son inmejorables y los platos principales son excelentes. Hay unas cuantas opciones picantes y los platos con salsa de Tailandia (especialmente los langostinos son deliciosos si te gusta un poco de picante. El servicio es extraordinariamente rápido, incluso los sábados muy concurrido. Los precios son muy razonables. El orden suficiente comida y usted puede conseguir algunos gambas galletas saladas tirado.

Love everything about this take away. Excellent food, great staff.Have to try other take aways when these shut but keep going back to the Rainbow. Keep up the good work.
