Jun Yue in Ribble Valley

I called in for a takeaway on my way home from a day out ... service was quick despite being busy and some big orders being taken out as well - food was delicious, hot, plenty of it - I had chicken chow mein and couldn;t quite finish it all so took it home and finished it there for supper! Its a good job I don;t travel in that direction too often as I find it hard - almost impossible to drive past without going in!

Jun Yue is one of our favourite restaurants. Believe it or not we dine here twice a month. Staff are friendly, attentive. Cost of the food is reasonable. Dishes are always well prepared, hot, well presented and tastes delicious every time. On this visit we were surprised with balloons and cake and ice cream for my husband’s birthday. It was so nice of them to do that. Top rated!

We ordered the set menu as there were a group of us. The starters were not great - spare ribs were quite dry which is why we didn't eat them all, and this seemed to really shock one of the staff. The filling of the duck spring rolls had the texture of mush and I only ate mine as I was really hungry. The main meals really made up for it and all of them were absolutely delicious. I would return to this restaurant, but wouldn't order the starters.

Set in a clean traditional Restaurant, this chinese is very authentic in its menu and food. The staff were very accommodating and friendly. Food was presented well and tasty but we did find it to be more expensive than what we would usually pay for similar meals and therefore only rated 4 STARS.

Stayed in the ribble valley a year ago and had a takeaway from here which we enjoyed, decided to dine in the restaurant this time we ate off the banquet menu I have to say it was quality word of warning the 5 starters are very filling we had our main as a takeaway as we were just too full, the staff were so friendly and welcoming and nothing was too much trouble we are coming back in 6 months so already looking forward to our meal then , probably just have the three starters really happy to recommend this restaurant

We ordered a takeaway from this restaurant while on holiday in the area. The online ordering feature wasn’t working on their website so we rang in and were informed we could collect our food (about 6/7 dishes) in approximately 20 minutes. This seemed very reasonable considering it was over the Easter bank holiday weekend. The portions were very generous (and reasonably priced), served in boxes. The special fried rice was full of prawns (plus pork and chicken) and topped with an omelette. My special chow mein included beef, which is a first for me. Sadly the dishes were somewhat lacking in flavour and were a little ‘gloopy’. While the beef satay had some ‘kick’ (and the meat was tender), the sauce was very thin and watery. Not the best Chinese food we’ve eaten, just OK.

Visited last night, absolutely fantastic food and service. Owner very obliging. Ordered appetisers such as chicken satay skewers (to die for) mixed platter salt & pepper Prawns,won tons between 6 of us, all beautiful. Mains consisted of special curry crispy beef in spicy sauce,crispy chicken in spicy sauce, chicken chow mein,breaded salt and pepper chicken fillet, fried rice and noodles. Couldn't fault anything. Not the cheapest but very nice food. So worth it in my opinion. Think they do an offer on when not bank holidays but staff didn't explain what it was. Would defo return.

We have visited this restaurant a number of times for the banquet or a takeaway since moving to Clitheroe. Last night we celebrated my dad’s 70th here with a party of 14. We had a wonderful evening. The food and service were fantastic and they made our celebrations extra special. We forgot the candles for the cake and they helped us out, bringing out the cake with candles.

Dined here several times now and food quality and service is always consistently good. We always order lots of starters then go easy on the mains but no request is too much trouble for them. Coco the owner is present at all times checking if everything is ok and we always have interesting chats and her daughter is amazing too, also a very good host. We will be back very soon

Table booked for 6:30 and first food arrived at 8:15 after asking multiple times for prawn crackers to keep the young ones of our party at bay. The place was in chaos - repeatedly had to ask to take an order, repeatedly had to ask where our food was and, whilst the food was great when it finally arrived, the whole experience was spoilt for our party of nine. I believe take-aways are excellent and we'll give that a go, but won't be going back to eat in. Also, forced to stand at the bar and do a bank transfer as the card machine had "just gone down". Bank details taped to the bar and had been for a number of days. Really should've been made aware of that before sitting down. All in all, a terrible experience - well done on the food though. Very tasty.

Ordered as we stayed in lodges just outside Clitheroe. Food was lovely, staff were helpful (as a mistake was made with our order over the phone - this was quickly rectified). I imagine sitting in would be a lovely idea for next time

Love to visit this restaurant. My husband is always happy to go as well. Food is always well prepared and presented. And steaming hot! Reasonably priced.
