Always fantastic food here. Generous portion sizes, and always ready at the time you are told. Don't have to hang around for it like some places. Always meet with a happy smile too from the staff. No.1 Chinese Takeaway in Longridge.

Lovely food, definitely recommend.

Bbq ribs were lovely, prawn crackers crispy and a good portion. Disappointed with our main meals, (after reading reviews) special satay wasn't very special, no depth to the sauce and definitely no flavour of peanut or sesame, though there were plenty of veg and meat, fried rice was bland. Chow Mein was the same, plenty of meat and veg, but not much flavour, quite bland. Sorry guys!

We order every couple of weeks, it is always absolutely delicious! I am really fussy with Chinese food but we've lived here in Longridge for a year now and never once have we been disappointed! it's always hot, tasty and fast. The lady who serves us is so so nice and we really won't go anywhere else! 5*

Simply the best Chinese Take Away I know and I've tried hundreds! Staff speak very good English, clear to understand and place order's, waiting time from phone call prior never more than 30 mins when it's really busy, in shop 10 - 20 mins. It's a very popular Takeaway and for good reason, the food is delicious, hot, using foil and plastic containers, and often include prawn crackers for free if your order is above a certain amount. Highly recommended.

Had one time before was amazing the second time I had it (Monday 10th April) I got food poisoning from it. Not happy

Standard Chinese, nothing out of the ordinary. Prices are maybe a little too high for what you get, but half decent food. Sauce on both meals were very watery, but meat and veg content was good. Ribs lacked meat and for what meat there was it was very tough. Unfortunately due to price and quality we won't be returning. Food Ordered: Special Satay Beef in Black Bean OK Spare Ribs

Must have caught this place at a quiet time. Service was really quick. No sooner had we sst to wait, ir was ready. Food was as good as always. Nice kick on the chili bean sauce. 10 minutes to walk home so it's still hot when we eat. At traditional take away times it can get very busy. They will serve your order, but you may have to wait. Note: this is a cash only place so you will need to get some from the nearby supermarket (cash machine or cash back).

Great chinese and very reasonably priced

Absolutely fabulous plenty of food for us both me and my mum.I had chicken and king prawn with chips and mum had King prawn chow mein and both were very tasty

Don't bother.. tastless.. meat rubbery... not a patch on the old Happy Valley..second time I have ordered.. missed rice missed off our order.. WONT BE GETTING AGAIN..

Outside burnt to a crisp... Inside raw... It's not hard to cook chicken or chips sorry but won't be coming here again

I often treat the staff of my 45 acre Llama farm to a happy valley on a Friday evening, since I started doing this staff attendance has risen to 102%. Some of our Chinese llama imports have taken to eating the leftovers so this must be a good sign. I often dream of the salt and pepper wings whilst in bed with my wife. Fine establishment can thoroughly recommend.

There are some pretenders in the vicinity of this fine establishment, some even share a name however that’s where the comparison ends. They should rename this the happier valley to represent how superior it is. If I could eat their fare for all 3 meals I would. Simply the best Chinese in the north.

Just simply outstanding, especially the chips, so good they are almost like they came from a real chippy. I was happy before, but now I’m even more full of delight after visiting the Happier Valley

New to area and tried Happy Valley for the first time. Had the special curry and chicken fried rice. Food was excellent. Regular customer from now on.

Nice food but as I wasn't a local it took ages to be cooked as people they know took priority. Great service for them I guess!

My girlfriend likes this takeaway, it serves good food but I prefer Kim Yin. You can really go wrong with either really though. :)

Good grub, special egg fu yung was very nice

Not soo good chips felt like they had been heated up, beef not very spicy a little bland, not to usual standard. I work as a nurse and was soo looking forward to this after a long shift.

Food wasn't great and had to wait about 45 mins for it waiting around

The food was delicious and the service was fast.

No much flavour in all foods, ordered Salt and pepper wings to start-way too salty almost inedible we normally eat more salt but even for us its too salty, Main courses Chicken with hot sauce and cashews-no flavour at all almost bland and chicken not fully cooked--finally Singapore fried rice-have ate this from lot of places in North west so far this is the worst one i am really surprised how they managed to get this one wrong and bland. Bottom line AVOID IT 75% of food gone to waste unfortunately and was devastated, ruined our Friday evening takeaway.

Good range of food and we like it. This makes up for slightly higher prices than other places. Ordering for collection they can be later than they say (10 - 15 minutes for a large order) when they are busy. I suspect arriving 10 - 15 minutes early for a 40 minute collection would help.

happy valley is certainly the best chinese in this village, always cooked fresh, always hot not left tasting with bad taste of grease like others one, sometimes could just do with a bit of something adding but on the whole very good.

A brillaint menu, well priced, and excellent serivce. Can recommend the Beef in Blackbean sauce, tasty but not too salty.

It's pretty good food although the menu is quite confusing for a first time visitor. The Yung Chow fried rice was very good. The chicken and cashew nuts had far too many bamboo shoots and water chestnuts in it and was totally bland and tasteless. The prawn crackers were plentiful and tasty. The chicken and black bean was in a very good sauce, much tastier than the other chicken and cashew nuts. One of the dishes came with a fried rice included. Also had some soft noodles with bean sprouts which were ok. It's worth noting that Happy Valley does not accept any sort of card, debt or credit. However, there is a cash machine more or less opposite.

A long standing Chinese takeaway in Longridge. Great special curry, rarely get a bad meal from here.

Best Chinese takeaway out of Preston! I live in Garstang which has 2 takeaways, and I will drive 12 miles to get one from here, delicious, fair priced and you get plenty for your money. Totally recommend this takeaway!
