Chows in Liverpool

I’ve been going to Chows for over 30 years. There isn’t a better chippy in the city in my opinion. Portions are always more than generous. Real value for money. I moved away from the area and didn’t go as often so I started trying the chippys in the area I now live. I tried them and I now travel a few miles just to go to Chows as no other chippy is anywhere near as nice.

Set meal for 4 was delicious with plenty of delicious food for the four of us. Best Chinese takeaway in Liverpool

Curry sauce and the fish cakes are really good

Food was fantastic but somehow my request for peking beef was misunderstood as bbq ribs...meal was returned and replaced ..all in all great chippy to visit

The best Chinese in the area. No delivery and you need to pay cash but that doesn't matter. Salt and pepper Sui Mai's are lovely.

In my opinion the best chippy in the area and cheapest. Great value for money and delicious fresh food. With great staff. And plenty of options on the menu. Staff are only to pleased to help with advice on any allergies a person has. And has a good selection of vegetarian options. No car park but can park outside while you wait on order. Also delivers locally. Child friendly place. Easily accessible for wheelchairs.

Best salt and pepper chicken going. Very good to go before the game too

Nice food but BBQ sauce was a little sharp and salty... Otherwise tho was really nice.

Large portion sizes, good food, fair prices. Cannot beat this place so I recommend it highly.

I have now become a regular of Chows. The staff are always pleasant and friendly. They deliver your order as quickly as they can. The chips are always lovely, fresh and nicely cooked. I musst confess, I love the crispy bits off the chips. It can be busy at times, but I find it is worth the wait. Thank you to all of the staff.

Always good food, been going there for years. Even if I don't bother for few months, I know the quality and taste will be the same, next time around.

The best chippy in Walton I have tried most of the food witches is delicious the Chop Siri roles are out of this world very nice chippy would recommend to anyone

Food amazing but slow service, especially when someone comes in after you asks for same thing and gets served straight away 🙄

Our local, typical back street Chinese chippy. Service always fast and friendly. My fella must be a sneaky regular as he always gets a calendar at Xmas! I love the gravy and chips with the massive onion fritter. Not had anything bad from here.

came here and picked food up from here got home ate the food and about 8 hours later i woke up with really bad stomach pains and servere vommiting maybe it was the sausages i know this is food poisoning as i have all the symptoms i am disgutted tbh as normally the chippy is okay

Would like to give it 5 stars but some times you wait forever as they are doing phone orders first last night waited 10 minutes for 2 sausage dinners, because they where to busy doing meals for phone orders - otherwise good food
