Staff were very friendly upon arrival and couldn’t do more to help. As soon as entering they were very helpful Service was quick, food was great and very tasty. Not left hanging around waiting and even able to take a doggy bag back. Rachel was so helpful when serving us and couldn’t do more to help

Went here with my son and wife for a bite to eat and the food was lovely and great value. Nice attentive staff who are polite and courteous.

The food was awful nothing like I expected a Malaysian chicken curry on the bone, I mean really! It not only looked terrible it tasted terrible, boiled to death as was the rice. This place is a take away disguising itself as a restaurant. No coffee No Desserts. Bland Bland Bland

Portion and the price very reasonable .

Maggie Fu is a nice establishment to eat food at, offering quality dishes that always satisfy the pallet. The only downside I can find is the price of the drinks but I usually find myself not ordering them so its of little concern to myself.

Molly took my booking over the phone, which I had to change a second time, adding people and this was not a problem, she was polite, professional and our table was waiting for us. This was a large party and nothing was too much trouble. The food, value for money, staff and atmosphere was 100% and 13 people left extremely happy. Thank you for a lovely time. X

Well,well,well....did I find a gem of restaurant Maggie Fu on Hanover st, Liverpool England ! We stepped into this place and found this lovely young lady Rachel!! She was soo very nice and very bubbly! She sat us and went over everything on the menu! She has a separate menu to accommodate Gluten free ! There also cater to vegetarians ! I found the food to be fresh , delicious and hot !! I would give this restaurant 10/10 Can't wait to come back !! Thanks so much for your lovely service Rachel....see you again!! From a Canadian

Back to Maggie Fu’s for lunch today, first time for my sister , she’s like me now absolutely hooked. The greeting you get from Rachel & Kas when you arrive there is like going home , once again the food was absolutely delicious, served hot and plenty of it . Maggies has a lovely relaxed atmosphere and is definitely somewhere you’ll want to keep going back to .

Reasonable Asian Food, the authenticity not fully there yet, which i assumed the had to tailor it to the local taste bud. But..if u need Asian Food at Liverpool city centre, then this is the place for it.

I went in at 1215, fairly quiet at this point. Nicely set out, order process like that at Nando’s. Went for the Nasi Goreng and would thoroughly recommend it. Too much for me to finish. Nice kick to it. Looo g forward to going back. Mates Udon Bowl looked lovely.

My first time I've tasted ramen, I highly recommend the curry sauce!! Nice chilled atmosphere, food was lovely and fresh, fairly generous amount of meat. I don't know the average price of a ramen dish but paid around £35 for two mains and 2 soft drinks.

The food was really high quality authentic Asian food as well as this it was well priced and I really enjoyed it

Amazing food, very generous portion i even shared it with my mate mike, mike didnt even order anything, well..... he is a seagull afterall, but il assure you, he finished every last bit that i didnt 🕊what a guy!

We had our work Christmas meal here. Nice food and quick service. I had the crispy shredded beef that was not at all crispy which was disappointing. Flavour was good. Very reasonably priced too.

Excellent hangover food and the amount of meat that comes with each bowl of ramen is insane! The house fries were okay, it just tasted like they were tossed in sweet chilli sauce

We ordered a few dishes and they forgotten one of the dishes. When we asked about our order, they apologised for the late serving and to our surprise that the boss offered full refund for the late serving food, he even offered us complimentary drinks. This is call great service!

The portion is very big and good value. But if you are looking for authentic Chinese food, this is not the place.

Amazing night food delicious and great portion sizes very busy but service very quick and efficient we were there with a group of around 20 and all served quickly at the same time shout out to all the staff friendly and welcoming will definitely return and recommend.

Such a lovely place. Delicious food for a reasonable price, huge portions. All servers were lovely and friendly, Rachel packed up our leftovers for us because we couldn’t get through it and was so nice the whole time. I recommend.

Worst asian restaurant I have ever been to! Food was terrible! I've ordered Meaty Ramen wich tasted like expired ginger. Noodles we instant. It came with meat portion but everything else what would you expect in ramen you have to pay for. The Ramen Egg was just a regular hard boiled. Not worth it's high price. Staff although seemed like they care about the client they didn't. I would never come back.

So, I'm over in Liverpool for a few days. Asked the receptionist at the hotel for a food place recomendation. She said try Maggie Fu. The portions are huge and very tasty. So, rocked up and got a table for two. The waitress was amazingly friendly, talked us through the menu. I asked her what her fav dish was and ordered that. Oh my, was amazing, we could of shared it between 2, ate well, and all for 40 quid including drinks. Next time i visit Liverpool, i will be eating here every day. SIX STARS for food and service. Staff were so friendly and chatty too. Brilliant experience

Dined here with friends during a trip to Liverpool. Service was amazing... Efficient, quick & friendly. Food was fantastic and well priced. Great vegan menu for vegan friend. Would thoroughly recommend this place.

1st time here wasn't expecting much but was really surprised food was decent piping hot and tastes fresh staff were all quality and helpful considering the place was rammed deffo going back Ps absolutely great value for money 💰

Been aware of this large Asian street food restaurant on lively Hanover Street for several years, but have never been in previously. Last night though, I was in a mood for adventure. For some reason I thought it was all big bench tables you had to share, but joy, it turns out that is not the case, and the seating is traditional – small tables for 2, tables for 4. The illusion of privacy is intact and the communal dining experience avoided. I cheer. Anyway, the arrival process was quick, and we were seated straight away without a reservation. I don’t think you could make a reservation. Not that I could find. Reservations are overrated though, sometimes you want to be spontaneous, so that was my nod to spontaneity. The process is simple, you have a menu on your table, this is replete with choice – there are starters, sides, small plates and big plates – you also have a drinks menu. Once you’ve chosen, note down your table number and order at the bar. A fine system. Tried and tested. The service at the bar was quick and you do not need to carry your own drinks back to the table, as in a pub, they are delivered. The beer was Asahi, as it was and as it should be in a restaurant fo this type. Crispy, dry Asahi, brewed under license in Chiswick. The food was a difficult choice – so many tasty sounding things on offer. I ended up having two starters as I really wanted bao buns, but also prawn toast and satay. The buns were lush, fat and hot with good filling and duck and hoisin. I had two and could easily have been happy with two more. Love bao. The prawn toast was hot from the fryer, rich with prawn and went down easily. Not so keen on the satay, which didn’t match the bao and prawn toast in stature, but the peanut sauce was gorgeous; unctuous and rich. For a main I opted for a big plate of deep-fried chilli crispy beef with fired rice – large amounts of fiery chilli sauce set the scene. Wow, such beef. These were big bits of beef too – often when you order this in a Chinese the beef is thinner and crispier than is ideal. This did not have that issue. Yum. Overall, I give this place two paws up, for it is fine and worthy of a revisit. There are a good many things on that menu that I would like to try, although I will always have bao on the side. This is a fine addition to the dining scene in the Hanover Street area and appears deservedly popular. Long may it last.

A very average Chinese. The service is non existent, you have to order at the bar as there is no table service and you need to make sure you get a receipt as multiple items went missing and ended up coming once the rest of the table finished. All the food comes at random times and sometimes people are waiting for food so long the rest of the table have finished before they start. Food is extremely average and can be quite greasy. The price isn’t bad though.

Accommodated for 5 people well as I got plonked at the end and fast turn around on the food. Just give me more water

Great restaurant, rapid and decent portions and price and the chicken is halal! We went as a group of 7 to Maggies. Order Nando's style with a table number and pay first. The food comes out super quick we had starters within 10 mins or ordering. I had the salt and pepper wings and the chicken ramen as the chicken is halal (except for the gyoza). Weirdly the vegan menu is cheaper for the same items ie vegetable gyoza. Decent portions. Lovely flavour and great atmosphere. Some friends had the bao buns which looked immense. This was a great meal and glad we tried it.

This restaurant is the best I had ever went to the prawn crackers are so nice and Savoury the Korean wing a really nice and the staff is really kind and they are friendly also the atmosphere is welcoming so the this place is a must go 10/10.Maggie Fu should add more halal options which will make a more reliable place Muslim who want to eat Chinese food.😀

Fantastic as always. Service on point and food spot on. I got the Singapore Vermicelli with Salt & Pepper wings. Washed down with an ice cold Asahi. Food came out relatively quick, hot and freshly cooked. Brilliant value for money here. 5 stars!

Always an amazing experience each visit to Maggie Fu restaurant .The really warm friendly greeting the staff show as you walk through the door up until you leave the premises. The menu is simple with not too much choice which is a good thing as you can be forever deciding what to choose The food is absolutely amazing and so delicious comes piping hot and is packed full of ingredients and the chefs certainly don’t scrimp on them. The restaurant is clean tidy and staff always cleaning up immediately when people leave.The food is 100% quality and super value not expensive at all. All the staff are super friendly and chat and ask how your food is. Todays trip we had the pleasure of meeting Rachel who was super friendly a d recommended us on other options s d choices she personally likes from the menu. She was polite and respectful and very sincere and hospitable. The staff as mentioned really make this a great place to enjoy the best Chinese food we have eaten ever

First time at Maggie FU yesterday. Myself and six friends from Newcastle-under-Lyme. We come to Liverpool quite often, however, not experienced this restaurant before. Such an amazing experience. Great atmosphere, outstanding food and service. We weren't sure about the dishes, however J, I believe how we relate to him, was just so lovely. He went through the menu and choices, especially with a friend who is the most fussy vegetarian you could advise. All the staff were just so friendly and helpful. They were a true credit to this restaurant and we hope your management team/owners appreciate your hardwork. Thank you, we will certainly be back and recommend you to others 😀.

Called in with my partner after my daughter recommended it. Wasn’t disappointed, excellent food, great customer service and a nice little place. Also, the prices are really good too which was surprising. I wouldn’t have minded paying a little more as everything was so good but definitely worth mentioning. Will be calling again 100%.

Tried to eat here once before and couldn't get a table, definitely needed to book. The staff were so nice the 2nd time, seated quickly and asked about allergies. Very knowledgeable about food and explained the allergen matrix with confidence. Before our food come a young lad came out and said the chef had asked if I was okay with Sesame, with having a peanut allergy. This impressed me and I felt very comfortable eating here as a result. The food come out in bits which was a little awkward, waited till my friends had theirs before eating. The food was okay, essentially a chippy with a bit of hype. But I can't fault the staff, I'd probably go back again for the service we received!

Really good food. It was full of people on a Monday which is impressive. The food while slightly more expensive it tastes amazing and the quantity is a lot. I normally don't leave food on my plate but on this occasion i had to. I only ordered one main and a starter and it was too much. Drinks are pricy tho

Simply yummy...visited 3 times in a long weekend stay in Liverpool and hot, big portions of flavour. The korean wings in the sauce lovely, the spring rolls divine, speedy service once seated awaiting order. We loved it and reasonably priced. Love hot fresh food and with the turnover its certainly fresh. Go give it a whirl you wont be disappointed and if you are then one if you was having a bad day!

The staff were absolutely lovely,super welcoming and helpful towards our intolerances. The ramen bowls were amazing, I suggest getting the 3 meats udon with spicy broth and a boiled egg. Definitely will be coming back,the price was £35 for 2 people,which is reasonable considering we got a starter (duck gyozas),but I wouldn't say they compare to the wagamama's gyozas

The food was very tasty and there were multiple choices to personalise the menu to our own individual tastes. The servings were large and a good price. Service was super speedy. Quite busy, but it is inner city. The spicy ramen with three meats was particularly tasty, but we couldn't finish it, so much food in one dish!

Excellent, been here a few times , can't book, just need to turn up. You might well probably have a short wait for a table but it's not long and well worth it. Staff are great, food is amazing and comes quickly to your table. Order at the bar with your table number which your server will provide you with.

I had Vegetable Gyoza, and Spicy Duck Ramen with Wantons. The food was very delicious, the staff were very helpful, and the neon decor was very pretty. If I was being really picky, I'd say the Ramen didn't come with enough vegetables as standard. But I don't want to be picky, as it was very tasty. Love to come here again!

Our 4th visit here. We can always rely on coming here for a nice chinese when in Liverpool. Service is quick, food is tasty & hot, and reasonably priced. Portion sizes also very generous.
