Always great food and service. We seek it out every time we visit Liverpool.

The portion is very big and good value. But if you are looking for authentic Chinese food, this is not the place.

We ordered a few dishes and they forgotten one of the dishes. When we asked about our order, they apologised for the late serving and to our surprise that the boss offered full refund for the late serving food, he even offered us complimentary drinks. This is call great service!

I was greeted by the wonderful Rachel, who was extremely friendly, bubbly and accommodating.. Who helped me to my table and guided me through the very simplicity off this fantastic restaurant.... If you haven't yet been its an absolute must!...

Amazing night food delicious and great portion sizes very busy but service very quick and efficient we were there with a group of around 20 and all served quickly at the same time shout out to all the staff friendly and welcoming will definitely return and recommend.

Such a lovely place. Delicious food for a reasonable price, huge portions. All servers were lovely and friendly, Rachel packed up our leftovers for us because we couldn’t get through it and was so nice the whole time. I recommend.

Worst asian restaurant I have ever been to! Food was terrible! I've ordered Meaty Ramen wich tasted like expired ginger. Noodles we instant. It came with meat portion but everything else what would you expect in ramen you have to pay for. The Ramen Egg was just a regular hard boiled. Not worth it's high price. Staff although seemed like they care about the client they didn't. I would never come back.

So, I'm over in Liverpool for a few days. Asked the receptionist at the hotel for a food place recomendation. She said try Maggie Fu. The portions are huge and very tasty. So, rocked up and got a table for two. The waitress was amazingly friendly, talked us through the menu. I asked her what her fav dish was and ordered that. Oh my, was amazing, we could of shared it between 2, ate well, and all for 40 quid including drinks. Next time i visit Liverpool, i will be eating here every day. SIX STARS for food and service. Staff were so friendly and chatty too. Brilliant experience

Great place for lunch, food portion was generous I docked a star because it wasn't hot enough, don't understand as the service was really fast so the food can't have been sitting around?

Abit of a wait till we got a table, it was definitely worth the wait as the food was amazing, full of flavour! Friendly staff, very busy but the food was quick to come out. Will definitely be visiting again 🤩❤️‍🔥

Lovely food. Not badly priced. Great portions. Actually couldn't finish it all. Curry was cheaper than a large bottle of water at £5. Definitely don't eat before going. Staff were nice though to let us take leftovers with us

Dined here with friends during a trip to Liverpool. Service was amazing... Efficient, quick & friendly. Food was fantastic and well priced. Great vegan menu for vegan friend. Would thoroughly recommend this place.

1st time here wasn't expecting much but was really surprised food was decent piping hot and tastes fresh staff were all quality and helpful considering the place was rammed deffo going back Ps absolutely great value for money 💰

Been aware of this large Asian street food restaurant on lively Hanover Street for several years, but have never been in previously. Last night though, I was in a mood for adventure. For some reason I thought it was all big bench tables you had to share, but joy, it turns out that is not the case, and the seating is traditional – small tables for 2, tables for 4. The illusion of privacy is intact and the communal dining experience avoided. I cheer. Anyway, the arrival process was quick, and we were seated straight away without a reservation. I don’t think you could make a reservation. Not that I could find. Reservations are overrated though, sometimes you want to be spontaneous, so that was my nod to spontaneity. The process is simple, you have a menu on your table, this is replete with choice – there are starters, sides, small plates and big plates – you also have a drinks menu. Once you’ve chosen, note down your table number and order at the bar. A fine system. Tried and tested. The service at the bar was quick and you do not need to carry your own drinks back to the table, as in a pub, they are delivered. The beer was Asahi, as it was and as it should be in a restaurant fo this type. Crispy, dry Asahi, brewed under license in Chiswick. The food was a difficult choice – so many tasty sounding things on offer. I ended up having two starters as I really wanted bao buns, but also prawn toast and satay. The buns were lush, fat and hot with good filling and duck and hoisin. I had two and could easily have been happy with two more. Love bao. The prawn toast was hot from the fryer, rich with prawn and went down easily. Not so keen on the satay, which didn’t match the bao and prawn toast in stature, but the peanut sauce was gorgeous; unctuous and rich. For a main I opted for a big plate of deep-fried chilli crispy beef with fired rice – large amounts of fiery chilli sauce set the scene. Wow, such beef. These were big bits of beef too – often when you order this in a Chinese the beef is thinner and crispier than is ideal. This did not have that issue. Yum. Overall, I give this place two paws up, for it is fine and worthy of a revisit. There are a good many things on that menu that I would like to try, although I will always have bao on the side. This is a fine addition to the dining scene in the Hanover Street area and appears deservedly popular. Long may it last.

A very average Chinese. The service is non existent, you have to order at the bar as there is no table service and you need to make sure you get a receipt as multiple items went missing and ended up coming once the rest of the table finished. All the food comes at random times and sometimes people are waiting for food so long the rest of the table have finished before they start. Food is extremely average and can be quite greasy. The price isn’t bad though.

Accommodated for 5 people well as I got plonked at the end and fast turn around on the food. Just give me more water

Lovely food, large portion sizes so be careful what you order as I ordered way too much and couldn't eat it all! All food is cooked fresh and quickly so not a lot of waiting around.

Great restaurant, rapid and decent portions and price and the chicken is halal! We went as a group of 7 to Maggies. Order Nando's style with a table number and pay first. The food comes out super quick we had starters within 10 mins or ordering. I had the salt and pepper wings and the chicken ramen as the chicken is halal (except for the gyoza). Weirdly the vegan menu is cheaper for the same items ie vegetable gyoza. Decent portions. Lovely flavour and great atmosphere. Some friends had the bao buns which looked immense. This was a great meal and glad we tried it.

This restaurant is the best I had ever went to the prawn crackers are so nice and Savoury the Korean wing a really nice and the staff is really kind and they are friendly also the atmosphere is welcoming so the this place is a must go 10/10.Maggie Fu should add more halal options which will make a more reliable place Muslim who want to eat Chinese food.😀

Fantastic as always. Service on point and food spot on. I got the Singapore Vermicelli with Salt & Pepper wings. Washed down with an ice cold Asahi. Food came out relatively quick, hot and freshly cooked. Brilliant value for money here. 5 stars!

Always an amazing experience each visit to Maggie Fu restaurant .The really warm friendly greeting the staff show as you walk through the door up until you leave the premises. The menu is simple with not too much choice which is a good thing as you can be forever deciding what to choose The food is absolutely amazing and so delicious comes piping hot and is packed full of ingredients and the chefs certainly don’t scrimp on them. The restaurant is clean tidy and staff always cleaning up immediately when people leave.The food is 100% quality and super value not expensive at all. All the staff are super friendly and chat and ask how your food is. Todays trip we had the pleasure of meeting Rachel who was super friendly a d recommended us on other options s d choices she personally likes from the menu. She was polite and respectful and very sincere and hospitable. The staff as mentioned really make this a great place to enjoy the best Chinese food we have eaten ever

Called in with my partner after my daughter recommended it. Wasn’t disappointed, excellent food, great customer service and a nice little place. Also, the prices are really good too which was surprising. I wouldn’t have minded paying a little more as everything was so good but definitely worth mentioning. Will be calling again 100%.

First time at Maggie FU yesterday. Myself and six friends from Newcastle-under-Lyme. We come to Liverpool quite often, however, not experienced this restaurant before. Such an amazing experience. Great atmosphere, outstanding food and service. We weren't sure about the dishes, however J, I believe how we relate to him, was just so lovely. He went through the menu and choices, especially with a friend who is the most fussy vegetarian you could advise. All the staff were just so friendly and helpful. They were a true credit to this restaurant and we hope your management team/owners appreciate your hardwork. Thank you, we will certainly be back and recommend you to others 😀.

Really good food. It was full of people on a Monday which is impressive. The food while slightly more expensive it tastes amazing and the quantity is a lot. I normally don't leave food on my plate but on this occasion i had to. I only ordered one main and a starter and it was too much. Drinks are pricy tho

Tried to eat here once before and couldn't get a table, definitely needed to book. The staff were so nice the 2nd time, seated quickly and asked about allergies. Very knowledgeable about food and explained the allergen matrix with confidence. Before our food come a young lad came out and said the chef had asked if I was okay with Sesame, with having a peanut allergy. This impressed me and I felt very comfortable eating here as a result. The food come out in bits which was a little awkward, waited till my friends had theirs before eating. The food was okay, essentially a chippy with a bit of hype. But I can't fault the staff, I'd probably go back again for the service we received!

Simply yummy...visited 3 times in a long weekend stay in Liverpool and hot, big portions of flavour. The korean wings in the sauce lovely, the spring rolls divine, speedy service once seated awaiting order. We loved it and reasonably priced. Love hot fresh food and with the turnover its certainly fresh. Go give it a whirl you wont be disappointed and if you are then one if you was having a bad day!

Amazing food, first time I’ve come to Maggie Fu and very impressed. I came on my own and the waitress Rachael made me feel really at ease and was really friendly and helpful. Will be coming back!

Visited here last week and food was absolutely unreal, service was really fast and really reasonable price for the quality! Staff are really nice and accommodating! Definitely recommend here.

The staff were absolutely lovely,super welcoming and helpful towards our intolerances. The ramen bowls were amazing, I suggest getting the 3 meats udon with spicy broth and a boiled egg. Definitely will be coming back,the price was £35 for 2 people,which is reasonable considering we got a starter (duck gyozas),but I wouldn't say they compare to the wagamama's gyozas

The food was very tasty and there were multiple choices to personalise the menu to our own individual tastes. The servings were large and a good price. Service was super speedy. Quite busy, but it is inner city. The spicy ramen with three meats was particularly tasty, but we couldn't finish it, so much food in one dish!

Excellent, been here a few times , can't book, just need to turn up. You might well probably have a short wait for a table but it's not long and well worth it. Staff are great, food is amazing and comes quickly to your table. Order at the bar with your table number which your server will provide you with.

I had Vegetable Gyoza, and Spicy Duck Ramen with Wantons. The food was very delicious, the staff were very helpful, and the neon decor was very pretty. If I was being really picky, I'd say the Ramen didn't come with enough vegetables as standard. But I don't want to be picky, as it was very tasty. Love to come here again!

Our 4th visit here. We can always rely on coming here for a nice chinese when in Liverpool. Service is quick, food is tasty & hot, and reasonably priced. Portion sizes also very generous.

This was a great meal. Despite it being quite busy, I was quickly seated and ordered. To my astonishment the food arrived only 5-10 mins after ordering. Not only this but the food was plentiful (I couldn't even finish my £10 meal) and very good

Was unfortunately pretty disappointed with my meal. My gf and I ordered duck bao buns, chicken wings, and two bowls of ramen. The buns did not feel fresh and the duck meat was very meh. I did not enjoy my curry ramen with duck meat either. The duck meat I got with my ramen tasted dry from being overcooked. The noodles were also very soft, likely from also being over cooked. My gf got the ramen with "meaty" broth and chicken. There was nothing meaty about the broth as it was the most watered down broth Ive ever experienced. The broth is everything when it comes to ramen! The chicken also tasted like just plain rotisserie chicken. The wings and service was the only thing we enjoyed.

The food at Maggie Fu was lovely, the decor is funky and comfortable, with a nice atmosphere that's buzzing without being too noisy. The food prove was really reasonable, about £5 to £7 for a starter, £10 to £12 for a main. Ordering food is done at the bar causing a queue and breaking up the flow of the meal a bit. We found we were up and down asking for things, as nobody comes to check if you need more drinks or things cleared away. We're glad we went, but on reflection I'm not sure we would go again.

I want to thank the crew and Rachel specially for a brilliant service . Udon noodles I ordered reminded me of my trip to south Korea few years ago . The modern design and classic food gives it a special experience.

Food: Ordered their “wicked” ramen with meat broth and roasted chicken. Soup base was good with a healthy amount of fried garlic.. It reminds me of what I typically have back home. Visited as part of a stag weekend.Excellent service,we ordered a variety of dishes and everyone was surprised at the size of the portions. Sauces were rich and flavoursome adding to the taste.Very good value for money and well worth a visit

Best Ramen/Udon bowls in Liverpool and personal favorite in the UK. Quick service and delivery. Nice staff and great atmosphere. My favorite bowl is Meaty Broth Udon Three Meat (Pork, Chicken and Duck) with 2 boiled eggs and King Prawns as extras. Usually with a Mango and Lime Peacock Cider and I'm satisfied for the day.

Well pleased we found this place.. Had a lovely relaxing meal. Will return.

The food and Staff are amazing, the lighting is slightly uncomfortable to my eyes but that is a personal problem.

First and last time dining here unfortunately. The cashew and yellow bean sauce chicken served was PURPLE in colour. When staff were asked about the colour and unexpected flavour of the dish they were unable to confirm the content. Chef advised the waiter the beans are marinated. Still does not explain how yellow bean sauce is purple and tastes like wine. Chicken had jelly like consistency, extremely unpleasant. We showed the waitress a photo from the restaurant‘a Facebook page showing what we expected the dish to look like (not even close to what we had on the plate) and the waitress advised the recipe has been changed. The ramen bowl was okay, however roasted chicken could have used more seasoning as it was bland. Ended up not even getting through half of our mains and had to leave. The unexpected flavour of the cashew and yellow bean sauce certainly caused some nausea… Starters (satay skewers and honey & pepper wings) were nice though and very well seasoned. Order with caution and query contents of food.

Nice place, customer service was a 10/10, food was quick to come. Just please note that the ‘spicy pulled crispy chicken’ is quite rich and sweet. Overall great experience however

I’ve been here multiple times to celebrate friends birthdays and every time the food has been amazing. Even on busy days I have been seated quickly and the service has been amazing. Everyone is so friendly and clearly is passionate about their job. The salt and pepper chicken is a favourite of mine with fried rice, it is all cooked perfectly. We sometimes get salt and pepper chips to share which again have never been disappointing. Will 100% be returning and will definitely recommend Maggie Fu to friends.

There was excellent food and a wonderful atmosphere. I went there on Saturday. Unfortunately, a waitress who asked me to move seats because a customer did not like me seated next to them ruined my experience. I was very much disappointed yet obliged.
