Tiger Rock Renshaw in Liverpool

Our 1st visit here and we thoroughly enjoyed it. Great variety on the menu, and it was served in a timely fashion, no waiting for dishes or feeling too rushed. Cocktails were great too. Definitely one we will return to

This is now our go to restaurant and have visited around 7 times. The food is always delicious in both presentation and flavour. The welcome is warm even today when busy due to Chinese new year celebrations. From us being a walk in today and having a few minutes wait, sat at the bar and had the most amazing cocktail made from the girl running the bar, even though she was so busy, she was lovely and welcoming. Shown to our seats, food was amazing as always, delicious and plentiful. The atmosphere is always great here with a great buzz to it. What a great afternoon, always a wonderful experience (and I’m an event planner so very picky) Just had to say thank you for an fabulous visit. We will be back for an 8th visit very soon.

The absolute best. The staff are so helpful and the food is stunning. I come to this restaurant quite often (6 times a year?). The staff are so friendly, helpful and give fantastic service. The idea of an Asian fusion type tapas is brilliant. You can taste so many different meals. The only problem is trying to decide which dish to choose. The bar staff also do cocktails which are great. My most recent visit today (Chinese New Years Day) was extra special. They were very busy but accommodated us as a walk-in despite this. During the meal the street dragons came and danced around the restaurant whilst accompanied by drums. A truly memorable visit which was very special. It’s difficult to choose a favourite restaurant in Liverpool as there are so many good places, but I think this is in my top 5.

Group of 10 friends, all ordered 3+ sides plates. So much food! Enjoyed everything I tasted. Excellent and quick service on a busy Saturday. My favourites were Shu Mai, Korp Moo & Nasi Goreng. Nice cocktails also! We will be back.

Recommended to me by someone living in Liverpool & was great. Lovely place & amazing food. Everything was delicious & lovely helpful staff. Perfect for a family dinner on a weekend trip to Liverpool.

Was really disappointed with food, I'm glad it was a January deal as I'd not pay full price. Chilli Beef was freezing they then just whacked in the microwave and it was boiling. Food was tasteless, it may look good, but nothing to rave about. I had heard such good things about it but I don't think I'll be going again. The Restaurant itself is a nice spot.

Terrible food, mixed with peanuts and tofu, over cooked and tasteless staff did not ask if we had any allergies, really poor quality and overpriced

First visit to renshaw street on a Tuesday teatime having enjoyed a previous family visit to the north John street restaurant. We were a family party of 7 Food we ordered we had mixed views some nice some okay and some not good at all noodles and my nasi goreng greasy both dishes left uneaten. Had to ask for the child's food to be served as we had had several dishes and no sign of the 6yr olds food. We found the service abismal felt like the forgotten table noone came to the table once to check how we were or if we were enjoying our meal or if everything okay. Dishes not cleared away even when fresh ones bought out we ended up stacking them at the end of the table. waitress serving the food said dishes name and just put dishes down no smile no engagement looked utterly fed up. Restaurant was cold so all in all a very disappointing evening asked for the service charge to be removed from the bill as we all felt let down by the evening and did not feel the service we received merited tipping.

We ate here on the 11th November at 4pm. We were really looking forward to it but the food was awful. I ordered the seafood soup, five out of the seven muscles didn't even open, the squid and one scallop were chewy and inedible. The nasi goreng was greasy and stodgy. The hot & sour soup bland and the sun mai was strong. Then there was the soft shell crap, this was incredibly salty and not very nice at all. I mentioned about the muscles not opening and had no response. We paid the bill and left what a disappointment. Out of the six dishes we ordered not one was ate we did not like or finish one them. The staff was uninterested when we raise problems with them. We paid the bill and left!

Pop in for a quick dinner on a very quiet Wednesday night. The staffs Joy, Wilson, and Leticia (not sure if I got this girl's name right) were amazing. They were really friendly and hospitable. The food was also delightful. Will definitely be coming back again soon. Can't wait!

Visited here with my husband recently. Restaurant was empty a lady did come in after us. Took staff at lesst 10 minutes to ask if we wanted a drink. We placed our food order then waited and waited. The lady who arrived after us was served first. When the food finally arrived most of it was cold! Not good. No member of staff came to ask if everything was ok?? The food was tasty but we knew it would be as we have been to smithdown branch who were on the ball served the hot dishes in small bursts.....not here. Having paid 70 quid for lunch i expect the food to be hot!! Dont waste your time here go to smithdown road. Will not be returning.

My partner and I moved to Liverpool just over a year ago and Tiger Rock quickly became a favourite. We've been to the other locations whenever we have an opportunity and it never lets us down. I was given a voucher for my birthday so we decided to try the new venue on Renshaw Street and we absolutely LOVED it! The food is amazing as ever, it came out from the kitchen super quickly and the staff are, so so lovely. We always have such a great time at Tiger Rock and I think the Renshaw venue is our new favourite. My partner is obsessed with the soft shell crab, I think she would eat it every day if she could! Thank you guys for a lovely evening :)

Just an awful experience from start to finish. Had to wait for our table, not a problem had a drink at the bar. 15 mins later still waiting, asked a passing member of staff if our table was ready, clearly had been forgotten about, it was busy so things are overlooked. Ordered our food over an hour later ( don't even know why we waited and didn't walk out) food started to arrive. From bad to worse there was chicken in the vegan dish, called for the manager, they deigned to arrive 15mins after we asked to speak to them 'oh we'll take it off the bill' was the response, no apology given. Never ever again.

A group of 8 of us visited Tiger Rock and it was lovely: lovely food, good quality but reasonably priced wine and they sat us on a nice big table. Will definitely return!

This restaurant is amazing. The food, wow. Small plates with an abundance of full portions. Different dishes from Asia and trust me these were all amazing. A great idea for sharing different flavours and tastes . The service was first class from start to finish.

Very very disappointed. The hake was totally tasteless. So I brought it to their Attention. The manager wasn’t impressed that I had the cheek to complain. But said I should try the sea bass instead. Which I did but sadly That was tasteless as well....
