Love this place, small plates, agree with recommendation or 2-3 plates per person. We had 6 to share between 2 of us, all amazing.

Visited this branch & impressed by the decor & Ambience. Food served as small plates allowing us to try more. Authentic tasting Malaysian food, we had the Rojak, Nasi Goreng and Prawn Mee Goreng from this cuisine. Also had the vegetable tempura and shredded chilli beef. Very rich and filling! Staff were very attentive & helpful. We had tried them before as a takeaway, equally very yummy.

Absolutely amazing service I went to this location with my girlfriend for valentines and the food was amazing with the slight acceptation of the crispy squid being a little tough for me. I suffer from a selfish allergy and the staff on shift for Valentine’s Day even tho it was incredibly busy made sure I was taken care off amazingly. The staff are fantastic at what they do and will definitely return in the future. 👍

Considering Tiger Rock has been around Liverpool for a long time, it's taken me ages to visit. We were really surprised just how good the food was. Best Nasi Goreng I've had in this country. Menu is diverse enough, and plenty of veggie meals if you're that way inclined. Be sure to book ahead as it can be difficult to get a reservation during weekends.

We ate here recently and the food, service and drinks were exceptional! Can’t wait to come back. We especially enjoyed the Thai green curry 🤤

The restaurant has a good atmosphere, but there was a noticeable drain smell, which was a bit unpleasant. I ordered Pad Thai, but unfortunately, the chicken didn’t seem fresh. On a positive note, I appreciated the wet wipes, they were a nice touch.

Love the ambience and service, I however found the food to be more on the basic side. Pad thai was ok. Mango sticky rice was disappointing.

Over cooked dry food in 3 out the 6 dishes we ordered sent the fish dish back when we complained they said just send it back in future nothing I can do we are very busy. We will never return.

The atmosphere was vibrant even though it was early evening. I really enjoyed the wine and attentive service. We selected 6 dishes which were varied and very tasty. I thought the lamb was exceptional.

Really great Asian fusion reastraunt. Nice variety of small plates. All well thought through and flavoursome. The venue has been decorated quite well and looks more upmarket. The staff are really attentive and polite which adds to a great service.

Whenever I’m craving indonesian food I tend to go here as the nearest safest place ! As much as it doesnt taste very authentic, it still hits the spot :) Pricey and works in group meals !! - PS always get the prawn crackers ☺️

I've been walking past this place for some time and when our normal restaurant was shut this gave a great opportunity to try out something new. They have a very large menu that gives a huge selection of dishes. I'm not an expert on Thai food but luckily my friend was. We were spoilt for choice. Asked for advice from the staff they were very helpful in making a decision. In the end we ended up with 11 different Thai dishes on the table and they were all excellent, much more than we could all eat. Would thoroughly recommend trying it out.

Brilliant all round, fast friendly staff and lovely good

I go to tiger rock quite often for the lunch deal and I did go recently as well. Ordered the laksa me thinking it would be amazing as always onky to be disappointed with the quality of it. Normally it’s a good soup texture but the one I got yesterday was so watery and they normally add fried tofu puffs as well (idk about laksa mee in general but Tiger rock does add tofu puff and I am 100% sure cause I order laksa mee everytime) infact when I went to the north John street tiger rock the day before (they had it as well; so that I’m not tripping and lying) . Normally I just keep quiet and eat my food if it’s nice even if the service is basic; but the food was visibly bad and when I asked about this tofu thing in it (there were like 4 pieces of chicken in the dish; normally there’s wayyyyyyyy more chicken and fried tofu puffs to bite on) he said they don’t do it at all and I mentioned I eat here often and ate yesterday as well; but the staff was like I’m probably lying; so I had to show proof of a pic that I infact ate from tiger rock (north John street yesterday) and then the staff asked me to show the tofu puff in the picture lol. So I was like it’s there; believe it if you want to. And after all this drama he went and asked the chef about it and chef said they forgot to add it.So I got like tiniest pieces of 4 fried tofu puffs. Like I only asked where is the tofu puff; if it wasn’t available I’d understand; but it escalated into something I didn’t want quickly. DISAPPOINTING EXPERIENCE WITH THE FOOD, STAFF AND CHEF. Anyways, not worth the price if you aren’t going for the lunch deal and there’s no lunch deal in December which I got to know only later .

4 of us visited Tiger Rock in Renshaw Street before attending a gig at the Philharmonic. The food & service were excellent. We chose ten dishes between us & they were all absolutely delicious. The staff are all very friendly without being intrusive. We will certainly be back at Tiger Rock in the near future to taste the exceptional Thai cuisine.

Met with work colleagues at the restaurant and food was amazing the staff are very attentive and whole afternoon was relaxing and so enjoyable lovely to meet with all my old friends in this amazing venue thanks to all the staff 😊

The food from what we had were AMAZING!!!. We randomly picked 10 dishes from the A La Carte menu and that's no regret!!. The restaurant has a great atmosphere and decoration. Staff were friendly and helpful especially Eddie who gave us a great service. the Also very nice Cocktail!!!

I had a fantastic experience at Tiger Rock! The food was absolutely delicious, with a great variety of dishes that were full of flavor and beautifully presented. A special shoutout to JoJo, who went above and beyond to make sure we were well taken care of. He’s warm and friendly service truly added to the experience. Highly recommend this place if you’re looking for amazing food and excellent service!

What a find! Huge choice of great Asian Street food, nicely priced and with a buzzing atmosphere.

Vietnamese spring rolls, skewed steaks and ribs were ruined by deep fried in rancid oil. Been served with stale foods, don't think we will be back again.

We visited Tiger Rock on a whim after walking past on Renshaw Street. It was a busy Saturday evening and despite having no booking we were seated straight away. The dishes were small plates which were perfect for ordering multiple and sharing them. The steamed dim sum were some of the freshest we’ve ever had, we really enjoyed these but just wish they offered har gau as it’s our favourite. The staff were so attentive and friendly. We would 100% come back if we ever find ourselves in Liverpool again!

Cuando me sacaron la comida no pensé en ella, y la comí durante 10 minutos sin problema... hasta que me di cuenta de que me habían dado un plato con pollo. Yo mismo, a un vegetariano de 10 años le dieron un plato de carne. Estoy totalmente disgustado por el servicio. No tuve ninguna disculpa de ningún miembro del personal por esto. Originalmente querían que pagara por mi plato y no me ofrecieron uno nuevo hasta que lo solicité. Cuando llegué a pagar la cuenta, todavía querían que pagara por el pollo al curry y el nuevo que me ofrecieron - estaba horrorizado por el servicio. Se suponía que era una celebración de cumpleaños encantadora y resultó ser un desastre.

Absolutamente terrible. Mi esposa pidió un curry verde vegetariano y se lo dieron con pollo. Especificó claramente VEGETARIANO y todavía lo tienen con pollo y ni siquiera le dieron descuentos ni nada. No creo que esto sea aceptable para ninguna parte y es tan malo como malinterpretar una alergia. No estoy contento en lo más mínimo.

We had the most amazing teen party lunch here at Tiger Rock. The food was delicious and served in such good time despite the restaurant being busy. To impress a bunch of teen girls is a feat, but the girls were very impressed with the variety of South East Asian dishes and enjoyed every item on the menu. The Tiger Rock team is to be commended for their professionalism. Penny was brilliant. So friendly and attentive, ensuring that the girls were seen to at all times. Manager Paul was so helpful and accomodating, and Jojo went out of his way for us as well. Great ambience and the most beautiful decor. Thank you for a wonderful birthday afternoon.

Good food, well sized portions and lovely decor! Went for a friends 40th and was pleasantly surprised by the portion size and food quality. Really nice meal. I recommend the crispy pork, aubergine and lamb Massaman curry👌🏻 Around £40 with 3 dishes and plenty of wine. Service was a little reactive at times but it was at peak times and they seemed pretty busy. Overall, would definitely recommend and would go back. Enjoy!

We booked at Tiger Rock for a meal out with friends. Great service but what stood out was the food. OMG its very authentic and genuine. One of our party was Indonesian and noted that the Nasi Goreng was 'just as his Grandma made it'. The food is ecellent value too.

This restaurant offers an impressive variety of Thai dishes, all served in a warm and inviting atmosphere. The staff are both friendly and accommodating, and the drinks menu complements the dining experience perfectly.

We really enjoy coming here each time we visit Liverpool! We love to firstly sit at the bar to order a margarita with prawn crackers which are dee-licious! The menu is really broad. You can find just about any type of food from Asia which can make it very confusing. It has taken a few visits to get it right. Tasty food with reasonable sized servings so don't over order. Look at for the specials menu. My helpful hint is try to get there before 6pm for the 2 for 1 offer!

Arrived as a family around 3pm on a wet Thursday. Quickly seated without a booking. Each ordered the two meals for 12 pounds, each one top class. Service good, surroundings lovely, ladies loos very clean. Highly recommended

Nasi lemak was rather bland with a lack of traditional ingredients. Generally the meal and service were ok. It seemed we were being rushed to order as there was a big party in at the time. It wasn’t very busy with plenty of empty tables.

Tiger rock has high quality south east Asian foods with small dishes that all taste great. Dishes we got for 4: Duck salad, lamb curry with rice (rice is charged extra which is annoying), prawn summer rolls, sweet potato, nasi goreng, chicken skewers and mango sticky rice My only discrepancy is the price is a bit expensive for the portion size but overall the atmosphere and service is fantastic. Food: 9/10 Service: 9.5/10 Atmosphere: 9/10 Price: 7/10

We had an incredible time at Tiger Rock Renshaw Street with a large group of friends celebrating a birthday. The staff were amazing, accommodating our big party with ease. We ordered a variety of dishes to share, and everything was fantastic. The Moo Tord Gatiam (Chilli and Garlic Ribs) were a huge hit, as were the Steamed Minced Pork & Prawn Dumplings (Shu Mai). For the mains, we loved the Hor Mok Pla (Grilled Seabass Fillet with Tamarind Chilli Sauce) and the classic Pad Thai. The cocktail menu was a highlight of the night. We started with Cranberry Spritzs and moved on to Strawberry Daiquiris and Whisky Smash. The drinks were expertly mixed and complemented the food perfectly. The atmosphere was vibrant, and the service was top-notch, making it a memorable night for everyone. Tiger Rock Renshaw Street is the perfect spot for large gatherings with its diverse menu and welcoming ambiance. Highly recommend!

One of the best restaurants in Liverpool! Delicious choice of Asian Food to choose from, the ambience is very relaxing and comfortable. Beautifully designed restaurant with a stunning cocktail bar and cocktail lounge, we had their amazing cocktails before dining for food. All dishes were very consistent in quality and taste, came out on time and did not disappoint at all. Fantastic, best restaurant in Liverpool will definitely visit again!

Amazing lunch with a great ambience! Their 2 for £12 lunch deal is such a steal, all the food was very tasty! I especially loved their Gu Lou Kai Yik (Sweet and Sour crispy chicken) paired with their Pad Thai for lunch, very delicious and well done.

Best restaurant in Liverpool serving the best asian food! Everything was delicious, they have a 2 for £12 lunch deal which is really worth it, they have a beautiful cocktail bar and lounge, food is all very tasty, friendly staff, and very unique and great cocktails! If you go during 4-6pm they have a happy hour deal every Sunday to Friday. Their Nasi Goreng was absolutely delicious with authentic flavours, their duck spring rolls were so crispy and a generous amount of meat. Everything was 11/10. Will come back again!

it's a nice place to give it a go if you're interested to try more asian food, it's quite rare to find malaysian food in liverpool at the moment. i got the vegetarian nasi goreng (fried rice) and it was okay, just slightly oily than what i would like - still good though! staffs were great, very attentive and friendly to us the moment we stepped into the place. the place was actually bigger than i expected as well, quite nice to even hold an event there.

Called in for pre-theatre food, with vouchers we'd been given. Everything was spot on from the minute we were greeted, food, drinks, atmosphere, service, décor. Just can't fault it, we will return.

We visited the Tiger Rock on Renshaw Street last night. It was a superb choice for an evening business meeting. We booked in advance and were seated in a quiet part of the restaurant so all 18 of us could talk and be heard easily. The staff were professional and attentive: unobtrusively ensuring everyone had a drink throughout. After our meeting we all found the authentic South East Asian dishes to be superb: served piping hot, as they were cooked, in good sized portions with enough to share. No one was disappointed in their choices. We had a great time, and those who had not visited before all plan to come back in the future! Well done Tiger Rock!

After my only experience of tiger rock being at the smithdown branch and getting terrible food, I was vocal about not coming to this branch. I was very mistaken. The food received today was phenomenal. The fish was all fresh. As it was quiet, the chef came over and spoke to us about the food and really gave us an amazing time. Special thanks to the staff, Oraya, Nancy and Por. You really made it a great time.

It’s my first time dining here and the atmosphere is great, I love design of this place. Nancy has been extremely helpful and had recommended me to some amazing dishes, props to the chefs who made these delicious meals!! Big Thank you to Chef Por, Chef Oraya, Chef Tong! You all have made my day! I would definitely return.

Service was great! It might have been a bit hard to flag down a waiter but the staff is really nice and polite, made the feel of the restaurant more elevated, complementing the interior of the place. The tables and seats were nice too! With that said, the atmosphere was amazing, staff were accommodating so that's great. Food on the other hand was a different story. The plating was nice but perhaps I had high expectations for such a nice place. I was hoping for more authenticity coming from a south east asian. I'd question the freshness of the meats, in particular the mussels and chicken satay. Overall the food was very mid, not bad but not good. The pad thai was close to being good. The price point is alright with the lunch menu.

Went to this branch for the first time after going to the other city centre one multiple times. Beautiful interior and great and fast service, the food wasn’t as nice compared to the other branch but still tasty. Would go again and recommend for an evening drinks and meal occasion.

Wonderful food and great service & good prices

The absolute best. The staff are so helpful and the food is stunning. I come to this restaurant quite often (6 times a year?). The staff are so friendly, helpful and give fantastic service. The idea of an Asian fusion type tapas is brilliant. You can taste so many different meals. The only problem is trying to decide which dish to choose. The bar staff also do cocktails which are great. My most recent visit today (Chinese New Years Day) was extra special. They were very busy but accommodated us as a walk-in despite this. During the meal the street dragons came and danced around the restaurant whilst accompanied by drums. A truly memorable visit which was very special. It’s difficult to choose a favourite restaurant in Liverpool as there are so many good places, but I think this is in my top 5.

This is now our go to restaurant and have visited around 7 times. The food is always delicious in both presentation and flavour. The welcome is warm even today when busy due to Chinese new year celebrations. From us being a walk in today and having a few minutes wait, sat at the bar and had the most amazing cocktail made from the girl running the bar, even though she was so busy, she was lovely and welcoming. Shown to our seats, food was amazing as always, delicious and plentiful. The atmosphere is always great here with a great buzz to it. What a great afternoon, always a wonderful experience (and I’m an event planner so very picky) Just had to say thank you for an fabulous visit. We will be back for an 8th visit very soon.

Fabulous January deal and very authentic menu

Recommended to me by someone living in Liverpool & was great. Lovely place & amazing food. Everything was delicious & lovely helpful staff. Perfect for a family dinner on a weekend trip to Liverpool.

Nice place and food. Just ensure you don't want no alcohol added in any dishes and confirm if the utensils used to cook the food are separate to non-halal food (pork). The grill stuff are to avoid as pork is also cooked on the same grill as the seafood and halal meat. The staff are really sweet and helpful so do ask them before ordering.

Was really disappointed with food, I'm glad it was a January deal as I'd not pay full price. Chilli Beef was freezing they then just whacked in the microwave and it was boiling. Food was tasteless, it may look good, but nothing to rave about. I had heard such good things about it but I don't think I'll be going again. The Restaurant itself is a nice spot.

The lighting was very low and the Benilla cocktail was very difficult to drink, very unsatisfying, we ordered mango sticky rice, and after all the meals were finished, we waited for an hour, I had to urge once before the mango was very sour. She gave the bill in the middle of the meal and demanded payment

First visit to renshaw street on a Tuesday teatime having enjoyed a previous family visit to the north John street restaurant. We were a family party of 7 Food we ordered we had mixed views some nice some okay and some not good at all noodles and my nasi goreng greasy both dishes left uneaten. Had to ask for the child's food to be served as we had had several dishes and no sign of the 6yr olds food. We found the service abismal felt like the forgotten table noone came to the table once to check how we were or if we were enjoying our meal or if everything okay. Dishes not cleared away even when fresh ones bought out we ended up stacking them at the end of the table. waitress serving the food said dishes name and just put dishes down no smile no engagement looked utterly fed up. Restaurant was cold so all in all a very disappointing evening asked for the service charge to be removed from the bill as we all felt let down by the evening and did not feel the service we received merited tipping.

First visit to the new Renshaw St location after being frequent visitors to North John St. The food was good but unfortunately the service let it down. Constantly had to try get a waiters attention for anything ie a drink? All waiters just walking round aimlessly, couldn’t even crack a smile. Did mention this when charged 10% Service charge. Toilets were also very cold/drafty with a damp smell. Would we return to a tiger rock? Probably not, shame.

Seriously the food was so bland and parts of it came cold, the rice based dishes no flavour, pork ‘bbq’ over cooked, beef rendgand was freezing. I wouldn’t recommend at all for the price absolutely awful value for money
