The best restaurants serving Chinese food in Salford North West

I'm a Londoner, New Wok is the best Chinese Takeaway in Greater Manchester, I still travel from Bolton to come here. Tge Family are lovely.

I order food by uber eats at 6.30pm £36 worth 6 items but then 6.40 Uber driver knocking on my door with food how is this possible

Classic Chinese spot, pretty good but the chow mein was saucy (not dry) and no option for dry - which was a shame

Excellence food, drink and service by staff. We wanted a quiet and friendly environment to have a meal. Enjoy the curry and my partner said it was money well spent.

Absolutely vile food disgusting. avoid at all costs.food knocked me sick.had to be thrown away. £30 wasted.and the staff are very rude and wouldn't refund me.i wont be ordering from there ever again. i wouldn't give the food to a homeless person or my own dog.

Always eat from the bo wah it's my local Chinese. Nice owner and nice food. Always make my meals as I request.

Whilst visiting family in Monton we decided to have a chinese meal to celebrate a special evening. The food arrived in good time, was hot and well packed and presented. The delivery gut was polite and well turned out. We all enjoyed the food and managed to eat it all. No one was ill and we all agreed that it was a great meal. Will definitely use the Golden Wok again

I placed an order on Uber eats & within minutes my order had been cancelled by the restaurant. The following morning I received an email stating that I am still being charged for my order as they had already began preparing my food, despite the cancellation not being at my request & within minutes of placing the order. Very unhappy & unsatisfied customer.

£8.90 for an all you can buffet on a Sunday is an amazing value for money

Dont misunderstand there was absolutely nothing wrong with the food - it was perfectly fine but thats just it, it was just average nothing to rave about. The delivery turned up 1/2 hour before the delivery time so was super impressed with that

This is my local chippy/ Chinese and has been for well over 10 years but my god recently the prices are extremely high - I just think it’s far too expensive for the actual food itself, other Chineses and chippys in the area are much cheaper for better quality so it really is such a shame.

Been here before but this very disappointed by the waitress absolutely rude to us. Just told us to wait outside in a condescending tone, when a table available she just say go and get a chair from over there, what do I work here. The food was not up to standards and so is the services. Will never come again.

Ordered food (thankfully not loads) the chips were greasy and flavourless, prawn crackers were greasy since they were packaged in the same bag as the chips and the grease soaked into the paper bag ALSO DO NOT GET THE CURRY SAUCE!! Not even kidding the curry sauce smelt like a smokers house, just a pure cig ash smell and tasted vile!! How this Chinese isn’t closed down is beyond me. This is the type of food that would kill people off and end the world 🤮🤮
