Very dry was up with belly ache all through the night after eating this

Order came on time and the food was excellent. I recommend it.

They have no spice or heat warning on the food and I ordered chicken satay and wasn't in a peanut sauce. They also have small sides for the prices. They've started using normal prawns in there king prawn dishes which is false advertisement and selling for the same price

Absolutely rubbish! Don't waste your money! Hot & sour soup like soya sauce soup! Spare ribs like how much fat can you get! Prawn crackers like stale dust! Overall great tea!

Couldn’t of had a better Chinese ever, was so nice, the portions are outstanding & arrived piping hot, ordered at 8:55 and arrived 9:10 thank you for a delicious dinner

Got to the end of the delivery time when I got a text to say it was delayed by 30 minutes which wasn't a great start. However, this could've been redeemed had the food have met the standard I'd expect of above a 4 star rating. This was not the case either... The hot and sour soup was heavy on the soy and was more like a glaze in its viscosity, much like honey rather than a soup. The egg fried rice was not fried, it was very dry boiled rice with a bit of egg in it and the rest of my meal was what I'd call just below average. If I'm being completely honest, the only easantly surprising this about my order was that the chips were proper chippy chips as opposed to fried oven chips. But aside from that I feel it was a waste of both time and money and id have had a better experience if I had gone to almost any other local Chinese takeaway.

What a shocking Chinese place these are meant to be salt and pepper chips Large🤣🤣And had to pay an extra 50p because of spuds going up🤣🤣🤣 chips are stale and ain’t even been seasoned never going there again another one that’s poo glad your closing down ain’t worth a penny

Had takeaway from the Lantern palace. We have it every time we are in Salford. We all think this is the best take away in the North West. The Thai dishes are amazing, best we’ve had outside of a Thai restaurant. Haven’t had a bad dish and would totally recommend.

A little disappointed with the amount of meat within one of the dishes and the egg fried rice wasn’t great but overall the Lantern Palace is good and the delivery service is reliable and prompt. I wouldn’t order these particular dishes again. Second time with the rice so I know it’s not for me

I used to always order from here but it was a big MISS tonight. The vegetable spring rolls literally had nothing inside them , the sauce on the beef tasted of cornflour and the chicken fried rice was a very strange artificial taste

13/91/24 had takeaway this evening ,excellent meal S&S,pork, platter for 2, chips and curry & prawn crackers nice and fresh had it delivered, arrived piping hot, delicious, very enjoyable, reasonable price. My husband is a very, Very fussy eater when it comes to takeaways, & he said differently have that again. (Yippee, not often you hear that), 5 star from him & me. Thank you.

Amazing food and great service

The food is poor, crispy seaweed tasted stale and was covered in lumps of what tasted like sugar. The beef in OK sauce appeared to be pieces of boiled beef in a lukewarm sauce and overloaded with onion slices. No flavour. Lastly the Noodles were chopped up into tiny small pieces - why? The people leaving good reviews must’ve never had decent a Chinese before!

Tried here for the first time. Although the food was ok it wasn't exceptional. The chicken wings were very greasy and the fried rice was white. I like my fried rice to look as though it has been fried. I'd give this place a 4/10

Very good food, we ordered before they opened and they called us and asked if we wanted our food early or on our delivery time. We said early and arrived 20-25mins before time slot!

Not as good as previous orders unfortunately. Soup was good as was the Chow Mein. Peking Beef was tasty but didn’t seem to be as much meat as in the past. The Egg Fried Rice was a bit of a disaster. Appeared to be boiled rice with egg quickly added. Stuck together and lumpy not light with the grains easily separated. No complaints with the order arriving late. It was a Saturday evening and we were kept informed.

The food was delayed and when it arrived the King prawns are just normal small prawns and at the price you should atleast use real king prawns. Its false advertising and with the delay it should be better

Salt & chilli king prawn……not a single sight of a chilli, never mind taste! It used to come with spring onions, chilli slices, just chopped onion this time. Portions much smaller yet have still increased in price. Curry sauce awful. BBQ spare ribs tasted nothing like BBQ. Rubbish! Won’t be ordering from there again

Great Chinese ! I regularly eat Chinese cuisine and think that lantern palace food is one of the best I have had including restaurants I have eaten from. The quality and price of the food is brilliant and I am always very happy with the service. Highly recommend and is a secret gem !

Amazing! First time trying this place and all the food was amazing it was hot and tasty and this will defo be our new Chinese from now on! There are so many vegetarian options as well it’s is perfect!

I ordered meat spring rolls & u sent me veg.. I’m not a rabbit - I’m a beast. … & to top it off the chips looked like toe nails & had been fried 77,000 times. I would suggest the £22.60 I paid you use it to send your chef for cooking lessons. Cheers for nothing.

The hot hot salt & pepper box was inedible. Was the most saltiest thing I’ve ever tasted and put it all in the bin. I’ve had this plenty of times before and always been really nice. Tonight however was a let down. Won’t be ordering this again unfortunately. Waste of money
