The food was absolutely disgusting we ordered salt and pepper chip which came as just chips absolutely covered in salt and pepper! The chicken was like eating pebbles ! And the rice was like rice pudding ! NEVER AGAIN !

Special fried rice came with just chicken in it and a blob or two of brown stuff that wasn't meat the rice was very brown not good to even look at as i opened it my other half said that's not from our normal chipy and I trying blag it thinking he's just being mard till I tasted the first mouthful and started gagging, the beef curry looked like snot, green but see through and the beef tasted off as well it was all bad, bad,bad and my hubby tried it to be sure it wasn't me being fussy it is the most rank food we have ever ordered and I did it by mistake on just eat thinking it was the chippy we normally get from so it got binned we would even give it the dog, I am 54 yrs old and this is the worst food i've ever had.....keep your money in your pocket or read the other reviews on here all saying the same as me I still feel sick thinking about it why I'm typing this out

Just ordered food for me and my family. Food is has no flavour at all. Chips are dry with no salt or any other seasoning . Prawn chow main has absolutely no flavour whatsoever. Very disappointed. All the plates are full of onions and barely any prawns, chicken or beef. Burned ribs and all. Very disappointing. Worst restaurant I've ever had food from. Do not waste your money for this, Avoid it at all costs

OMG I total forgot how bad this Chinese takeaway is! Ordered via just eat, food arrived on time but what a disgusting thing to serve anyone. Chicken balls where rock hard, dry with no taste and hardly any chicken. Chips where way over cooked would even go as far to say they were left from the afternoon. Fried rice was all stuck together, again no taste as for the sweet and sour sauce honestly indescribable! Please do not waste your money getting anything from here! My second time and this was even worse than the first. By far the worst Chinese I have ever had! All went in the bin

Ordered due to it being the only Chinese that was open on a Tuesday. Holy cow! I am sat here worried for my bowels! Order arrived the driver was rude. Opened the food and it looks like it’s been bashed with coal … all dirty. The food tastes shocking, all gone in the bin. My friend is currently on the toilet with severe diarrhoea and pain. This place needs to be shut down its filthy

We ordered a couple of meals and the salt n pepper chicken tasted awful. I called in for a meal a week later and witnessed the older guy drop a tray of battered chicken. He picked it up, put it back in the tray off the filthy floor and packaged it up for a delivery. I walked straight out and won’t ever go back there.

Nice food delivered to me, came freshly hot and was delicious. delivered on time with a friendly delivery man who helpful knocked on my door rather than the doorbell Would recommend to others

Absolutely shocking wish i read the reviews first, ordered food through uber and within 4 mins the driver had set off so i knew my food wasn’t fresh and i was right, the rice was cold and stook together, the chips was stone cold and looks like the oil hadn’t been changed in years, the noodles stone cold with just chopped Onions in, and the salt and pepper chicken was just cooked with a sprinkle salt, there was no chopped pepper, chillies or spring onion it was literally just chicken with onion

Avoid at all costs food was burnt and disgusting all went in the bin!!! Never again

Awful food. I had red Thai curry which was watery with hard boiled rice. It did not resemble Thai red curry in any way. My husband had salt and pepper chicken with chips. Both were dry and hard and seemed like they had been reheated several times. I wouldn’t normally write a review like this but it really was awful. Don’t waste your money. Worst Chinese Iv ever had!

First of all, the delivery was quick and when I ordered the salt and pepper chips, the portions was big the onions was spicy(Which I loved!) The mini vegetable rolls was very delicious to because the pastry was crispy and my favourite vegetable(Carrots) was in it. Thank you SunWah! I'll be ordering again!

All fake, hygiene rating on just eat is 5, 1700 reviews all good with 4 and half star rating which is utter rubbish...food was chewy, chips were so brown dipped numurous times no doubt, prawn crackers the had no flavour... First and last order, awful food. Spring rolls - tasted like they had been cooked in very very old fat, disgusting taste. Chips - looked like they had been reheated. Shredded crispy beef - definitely not crispy. Felt like I was chewing on plastic Only edible food was the prawn crackers. Complete waste of food and loads thrown away that I wouldn’t feed to my dog. MINGING . chips were brown ...definitley re heated from the day before .. duck spring rolls were pathetic too hardly any filling. judging by the reviews on here they re heat alot of old food. never will i order from here again.

The food was in time but poor quality the chips was dry and looked dirty,special fryed rice was tasteless had a lot better also the man left my gate open which I did not know so when I let my dog out as I can’t see my gate fully got out is a dear dog my son was fuming so thanks for that! :(

Spent nearly £30 on an order tonight 27/1/23. The chips looked like they’d been left around since dinner time. Very dry, looked like the fat hadn’t beet changed in a while. Ordered char Sui foo young, the pork looked a dirty white colour and tasted disgusting I only ate one tiny piece. We also ordered salt and pepper chips, which again were dry and a dirty colour. Salt and pepper wings were very dry, tough and chewy. Ordered a special fried rice which was very soggy the meat looked undercooked and it was really cold. All the food was cold and tasteless, ended up throwing it all in the bin. Will not use this takeaway again.

This place is little Hultons Hiden jem. The food was really good fresh and enjoyable. I ordered chicken sweetcorn soup,shredded crispy chicken,crispy seaweed,prawn crackers and banana fritters and I have to say that everything was so good. The soup was one of the best I ever had it was warm good consistency. The chicken was nice the sauce it was in was delicious. I ordered 2 bags of prawn crackers they gave me 3 and free of charge so really kind gesture from them. The crispy seaweed was also delicious and for seaweed to be on a Chinese takeaway menu is rare and that it's in little Hulton is genuinely really cool to also it was nicely cooked. The people that run it/work it are wonderful they are kind and respectful and took care of the food. But one little thing is that the inside was a little bit old and could do with a remodeling but at the end of the day you're there for the food not to look at a building.10/10 will be. Coming back often.👍

Ordered fish and chips. Bad mistake, the chips I'm sure was from Saturday!( This is Sunday.) Now when you get fish it should come away from the batter, this one took the batter with it, so I'm 100% sure it's from a box from a supermarket because the blooming thing was squared . Phoned up complained and they said they would send another one too me, and I quote ' because it must of been cooked too long' Resent the new one TOOK the old one back, 🤔and low and behold the same looking fish, deep dark and inedible, and still looks like a supermarket boxed fish DO NOT order from here. Waste of money if I could give it a minus it would be -100 and NO STARS

Been ordering from here for years and it’s been good but tonight it was disgusting will never order again 2 members of my family who ate have been sick

Wife was working late and kids were crying for food so i decided to go down with the kids and get a meal, when i opened the door a horrible stench bewildered me, the walls were dry stained yellow. I decided to order despite these factors and got chicken balls for the kids and i got fried rice, spring rolls and chips. The chicken balls were solid and had the pan stick to the bottom of them as well as being rock solid. The fried rice i had was bland the spring rolls were raw and the chips burnt. Got the wifey to pick up some McDonalds on her way back. I highly recommend not getting Sun Wah for sanitary reasons.

It's disgusting. Foods not fresh at all. Chips were stale. Chow mein was tasteless and meats tough. Wouldn't waste your time

Always get from sun wah food ok but tonight i dont no if they have a new chef but the was lovely the thia green was realy nice and the s&p wings was perfect just lightly battered instead of over battered and hard so if they have a new chef i hope they keep him

Ordered food for delivery. Driver given specific address instructions in addition to the address and he still tried to deliver to the wrong house. Was calling him and he was driving off, claiming he was outside (the wrong house) when he was 0.5m up the road!!! Then they claimed they delivered! Don’t bother ordering for delivery, can’t rate the food as they never delivered

These guys are charging a set delivery fee of £5.00 on just eat, no matter how much you order......are they having a laugh!!!!! Not gonna order, not just because of the ridiculous delivery fee but also the bad reviews on here!

Zero rating how is this place even open. To say this food was edible is putting it nicely. I just order food from Sun Wah Chinese takeaway in Little Hulton. I have never had food taste so bad, the chips looked like they where days old. The curry sauce had no flavour. The food over all look like it had not been freshly prepared had no flavour and left a bad taste in my mouth. The majority of it ended up in the bin. Total utter waste of money. Will not be buying food from here again.

Went in for 1/2 fried rice, chips & curry was told chips would be a few minutes, gave up 10 minutes after waiting around. After looking around the place i made a dash for the exit as it looked like it hadn’t been cleaned since the ming dynasty, dirty and grim looking place, the waiting area was bad enough so god knows what the kitchen is like, matron behind the counter was absolutely caked in grease and curry stains. Gross.

Ordered a duck, came cold and unshredded, sausage was cold, salt and pepper chips were cold and should have been called vinegar chips, they were disgusting, fortune cookie was soft, so I payed just over 20 pound for a bottle of coke and some prawn crackers, will not be ordering from here again, just hoping just eat refund me

Disgusting food. Arrived stale, the duck was burnt and cold. Salt and pepper chips were ordered and when we received them there was NO salt and pepper seasoning, just a tray full of onions. All food was inedible and had to be binned. Food hygiene and safety extremely poor.

WARNING Have ordered from this takeaway for many years and always been happy with the food. Today we used UBER Eats for delivery. Food was AWFUL duck cremated and unable to consume, salt and pepper chips were dry and cold, no pepper, just chips and onions! Who orders that! I phoned previous to say I wanted to make sure the food was fresh and hot after it had been sat a long time waiting for a driver. Customer service was shocking. They have now lost a loyal customer. None of the food was consumed incase of consequences to peoples stomachs. 0 STARS.

Quite possibly the worst meal ever, everything over cooked/microwaved or other. cease trading from this day until you have a trained chef in place.as this is not acceptable food .👎

Can't comment on the food as the order never arrived. Called to chase the delivery and they claimed it had been delivered to us and our house has a blue door and a boy answered it. Unfortunately we don't have any children living here and have a white door (no food though). After having to argue for a while by phone to try and get them to accept they must have delivered to the wrong address we gave up and spoke to Just Eat who finally got the driver to admit delivered it to the wrong address. Great service frln Just Eat though.

Food here was awful, ribs tough and sauce was just like sticky sweet water. Curry sauce had no flavour and salt and pepper chips were the worst I've ever had. Waste of money that we save up for a treat night.

The food was very disappointing, Crispy shredded chilli chicken was slimy and terrible.

I've been having takeaways from here on and off for over 10 years. Pleasant and friendly staff and the food is always delicious and delivered hot. Similar prices to other chinese takeaways pretty reasonable.

Called in here on a Wednesday evening. The place didn't inspire from the start. The walls are covered in old filthy hand written price sheets. Tiles are cracked and dirty. But it did have a 4 star hygiene rating according to the sign on the wall? I ordered a simple chicken curry & rice. I ate shortly afterwards and my niece shared just a little. Approx 5=6 hours later in the middle of the night I was woken by severe stomach cramps and the need urgently for the toilet. This lasted a good half hour. The following day my niece happened to say she had also been unwell despite literally only having a small portion. There is absolutely no doubt the food purchased here was at fault.

These are one of those that let you order but then ignore the phone after not turning up an hour n half later.

I've had many takeaways from here and it does seem to be hit & miss, the food is great sometimes poor another time but the customer service is always polite so that's a positive. So I ordered from here yesterday at opening time and they sounded stressed already yet still polite though which is good, now for food the sausages were over cooked and the duck fried rice was dry and overcooked but the chips and curry sauce was good it was a 40 minute wait so not the best time but not the worst. So the it would of been 2stars at the most on the food but because they are always friendly and customer service is good its boosted it to 3

Bit hit and miss this Traditional Chinese Chippy, sometimes the food is amazing and other times it's not so.. Strangely it's better when busy. x

I started using sun wah back in 1999, me and my mum used to treat ourselves to one most Thursdays or Fridays! Mum had lemon chicken or satay chicken with boiled rice and I'd have chicken curry or cantonese style chicken, I left in 2003 to live in the Midlands, tried loads of takeaways and none of them came close to sun wah! Now I live in hastings and regularly visit London, I've tried Chinese takeaways in both places (MANY!!!) and again not one comes close to sun wah in little hulton, Patrick who worked there back in 99 is still there and he's the nicest bloke you could ever meet! I'm in Manchester at the moment and I'm about to go get a chicken curry now with the Mrs, thank you sun wah for never changing! You're the best.

Just ordered chicken chips and curry sauce. The chips were hard and dry, they must have been cooked a long time ago. Binned all the chips and used the curry sauce to make the chicken less dry as well :(

The above duplicate 1-star reviews are out of date. The place does not look dirty anymore. Sun Wah is run by what appears to be a couple, and they are very friendly and eager to serve. The food is a bit bland, but then maybe that I am used to eating authentic Asian foods that don't compromise on the salt and MSG. I've had their fried rice, chow mein, beef with mushroom, and salt and pepper chicken. Those sensitive to greasy foods will be happy to hear that none of the food I've had here is greasy. I recommend their salt and pepper chicken. That is a strongly flavoured dry dish that is definitely not bland. A lot of people seem to come here for the fish and chips. Personally I prefer go to a chippy for that, but seeing as how popular it is, I might just try their fish and chips next time.
