Always go to this chippy before the matches at Anfield. Staff are great and quick at serving you. Food is great, especially the sausage, chips and curry or the fish and chips. Reasonably priced as well.

I live around the corner from here and despite trying other Chinese takeaways this is hands down the best. My friend from liverpool always loves to order in from here when she visits too. The hot and sour soup is delicious as are the ribs, crispy chilli beef, salt and pepper chicken and the sweet and sour chicken. Can’t beat it!

Wow , the food from this take out is amazing ! Big portions , freshly cooked , tasty , good ingredients , I can't fault it. The best chinese take out I've had and I'm very fussy haha , even better than some of Manchesters China Town restaurants I've been too , DELICIOUS

I love their Singapore noodles and also the salt and pepper 🌶 selection. Large portions at a fare price! Prawn toasties plump and delicious. Salt and pepper ribs and wings well recommended. Best Chinese takeaway in Southport.

Never disappointed with the quality of food here: big portions, homemade chips and great quality. Highly recommend!

I've had a few orders from here before and have always enjoyed them I also left a great review 5 months ago . Not sure if there is a new chef now or the cost of living crisis is having an impact but not the same I was shocked at what I got , infact I didn't even eat it Such a shame as its refreshing to have different choices especially in a small town in runcorn but I won't be ordering again . My friend group has also experienced the same loved it then the last delivery gross

As already mentioned by others, this in my opinion is the best Chinese take away in Southport. We love our chinese food and struggle to find decent food thats not packed with MSG and gloopy sauces, but Woks Cooking is great every time. Bargain is the dinner boxes, feeds two people. Chowmein is great, as is the Wonton soup, Wartap chicken, crispy duck pancakes, salt and pepper ribs, and many other things we've tried here.

Not only is this a Chinese supermarket - chaotic and well stocked - but it is a Chinese food court offering a range of fresh and flavourful Chinese staples quickly and at low prices. From the first stall which sells a wide range of meals, including staples like sweet and sour chicken and lots of noodles, next to the dim sum stall serving siu mai, har gau and massive plates of wonton in chilli sauce, you move on to get jian bing (Chinese pancakes) then congee and bibimbap and finally to the hot pot stall with a massive choice of meats, vegetables and delicacies to put in the boiling broth - a warning medium hot is probably too spicy for most so perhaps you should ask for mild! There is a row of slim tables and high stools at which you can sit to eat your food - mostly populated by Chinese students confirming how like the back streets of Guangzhou or Hong Knog this experience is. It's a bit addictive!

This place is located near the University. There's limited street parking. They have halal options available and a choice of hotpot or bbq. We opted for the Korean bbq as we've never had it before. Halal options include fish, prawns with shell, beef, chicken wings and variety of vegetables. It works like a buffet so you tick what you want and they will bring it to the table for you. The service was good and they showed us how to cook our food. The food cooks very quickly and you can order fried rice or boiled rice to go with your food. The chicken wings take up space and take longer to cook. I appreciate they probably have wings for this reason but boneless chicken thigh thinly sliced would have been better but that's probably not a Korean hotpot food. You get two sauces and When we were leaving we were told that if there's a party of 5, they can order hotpot and bbq together.
