The best restaurants serving Chinese food in Sunderland North East

Had a hotpot with my friend, perfect food, few drinks would highly recommend if you’re looking for an authentic Chinese meal.

Very poor food. When you complain they don't want to know. Eat there at your peril. Plenty other Chinese around . You have been warned 🤮

Was absolutely terrible waited so long for the food and when it got here a full box was missing and when we tried to ring the restaurant they would not answer the call

I've bought a couple of curry's from alos recently ,the curry sauce is like water, they have put prices up considerably, but are making the poorest curry sauce possible, used to be a really good takeaway, now it seems profit is more important than quality, very disappointed, Andy.

I had a beef curry from here and wouldn't order it again. The beef was so chewy I left most of it. The rice and chips were hot and ok but I will avoid beef in the future

The ribs (salt and chilli) had no taste whatsoever I think they must have forgotten to add the flavour. The curry sauce although was a little spiced also had very little taste likewise the fried rice was also the same. Chinese curry sauce should be full of flavour as should the rest of the dishes. Very expensive for little to no flavour we won’t be back.

Food was ordered at 19:34 and we were told that delivery would be an hour, food had not arrived by 21:13 and we’re told it was on its way when called back, food finally arrived at 21:30 and some of the order was missing, I was told it was never ordered so I agreed to go and collect it. Only to find the chicken omelette was only half cooked, I tried to ring 3 times but got no answer. I have kept and taken photos of the omelette and will be reporting this first thing tomorrow. This is the worst food ever

Date 31/10/23. Time 18:21 The good news is the food arrived on time , the bad news was the food I ordered was cold and like chewing soggy cardboard! It’s states ‘Crispy’ ! The Chicken looked like it was cooked a week ago and then binged!! What a joke or should l say that was on me , for what I paid and received 😤…. They say once bitten twice shy , well I will definitely not be biting anything else from the ‘ Welcome Inn’ any time soon !! Cantonese sauce smelled of wee, portion size was tiny chicken soggy didn’t even end up eating it looked that vile

First time ordering and most certainly won’t be the last!! Delivery was very fast, Food was piping hot, tasted amazing and the portion sizes exceeded our expectations, we ordered a box meal and it was basically overflowing. Definitely get you money’s worth!
