I can't get over the rug just inside the door! It must have been there for years!! Sooooo dirty! Anyway, the food and service were ok really, but everything is old, from the glassware, crockery, cutlery, the food warmers old old old. It needs to be cleaned and modernised.

If youāre looking for a solo dining place, this is it, they have tables facing the window for single diners. I came here to try the black bean noodles, the noodles had a perfect texture, not too soft and the plenty black bean sauce - tasted slightly charred. Iād like there to be more meat, only had small slices very minuscule (thereās a seafood variation of it, so maybe go for that if you want more variety in your toppings). They also gave side dishes of some kimchi and radish for free, cups and water is on the table for you to self serve. You pay at the counter at the end, so just go up to the counter when youāre ready. Already pretty busy when I came even though they just opened. This place gave a family and home cook vibe, brilliant pricing.

I was live-in bar/cellar man in this pub in the early 90s.Kings Cross was a dangerous area then but The Swan was a decent pub with meals for the surrounding office workers. Just on Regents Canal. Coming from Ireland I thought it was great that workers were allowed to go for a couple of pints at lunchtime. I was in my early 20s and a good time to be in London. There was a Spanish bar-restaurant in Pentonville Rd and Filthy ManNastyās up in Amwell St and Minogueās Liverpool St. Walking up Chapel St Market to Upper St Angel. The 90s the good old days š

This listing needs to be changed to reflect that this restaurant is not Mrs Wong's. It went under new ownership and changed its name to 'Cozy Woods' many years ago. All the more recent and largely negative reviews reflect this new restaurant, not the Streatham institution that was Mrs Wong's, and frankly they are a stain on the good name of what was once an incredibly beloved community favourite. Cozy Woods, stop trying to capitalise on the reputation and goodwill built up by the real Mrs Wong's over many decades. Much love to the original owners and staff.

If there was an option to give 0 starts, it would still be too much. I found a hair pierced through my food and called to report this, I was met with laughs and even them blaming me for it being my hair. Iām ginger and short haired. This as you can see in photos is a very long, dark hair. Stupidly this isnāt the first time Iāve ordered from here so I can only blame myself on giving a second chance. Couldnāt be any worse places with poorer customer service. Do not eat here.
