The waitress who asked for our order gave dirty looks, sighed when there was miss communication and was overall very rude. When my partner asked another waitress where the toilet was she looked annoyed. Food was standard overal I’d say a 5/10 There’s also a 12.5% service charge that I didn’t feel was fair to pay, considering our the service was some of the worse I’ve had. We’d normally tip but definitely not here.

Pedí una comida para llevar para cuatro de nosotros. Llegué temprano (en 25 minutos un martes) y un buen calor. Porciones generosas. Buen pato aromático crujiente para empezar. El Chicken Chop Suey estaba demasiado rojo y parecía estar lleno de Sodium Mono. Preciosa carne de res y champiñones en salsa de ostras. Pollo al limón demasiado alimonado. Bueno

I have been here few time for take away and the food always tasty and good value for money. Would happy to recommend anyone want a good value, yummy Chinese take away

Food is delicious but delivery always late

Good food, would prefer bigger portions.

Forgot my prawn crackers at first, the duck was pretty burnt at the edges, but the egg fried rice was nice.

Restaurant update delivery time after ordering by 30 Mins then delivery was 20 mins late over that. Called and the woman wasn't very helpful on the phone. Menu was limited and food not great. Prawn toast was really greasy and lacked flavour. Squid was mushy

I'll give it three stars for delivering the food exactly when they said they would but I had two problems - 1) the restaurant added 30minutes to the delivery time on top of an original 45mins - I then couldn't get through to just eat to cancel the order. It's the 2nd time they've added 30mins to an order on top of 45mins 2) the delivery guy complained that I didn't answer the doorbell, but I specifically said in my instructions to call when they arrived - this is because the doorbell doesn't work and the landlord won't fix it. Since I can't guarantee they won't add 30mins on top of every time I order, I'll see what other takeaways do instead. Food was great quality though.

Food was nice but the egg fried rice just needed a little flavour

The driver forgot our drink - he said sorry but I said we've paid for it - we would like our drink that's why we've ordered it. He said he would go to the shop and get one as he didn't want to drive back to the restaurant. I don't know where he got the coke from but the bottle was half empty. a right put off!!!!!!!!!

don't bother - the food took 2 hours to arrive despite being told 50 minutes delivery time. Then when it did arrive it was cold. Very poor indeed

Good was hot and everything I ordered was present. Spring rolls were lovely. But the chili black pepper ribs, Thai chicken and egg fried rice were not authentic in my opinion. The Chinese favors did not jump out to me at all

Prawn toast was good but satay sauce isn't amazing

The dumplings are terrible... The food was clearly re-heated not cooked from fresh. For the price this was terrible quality I will not be ordering again

Brilliant speed of service but butterfly prawns were a major let down in some kind of fish fingers batter instead of a crispy batter . Sweet and sour sauce was way to thick and chips were soggy. I would of preferred slower service and better better food. Won't order again

One of the worse Green Thai curry's I've even eaten. No flavour other than very sweet. Oily. And the meat was so processed. I could barely eat it

The only negative was I ordered close to 30quid and didn't get no crackers as standard and I also asked for chilli oil, that was ignored from my order.....in total the food itself was very tasty and I will order from them again....

Ive waited 2 and a half hours for their delivery. No apology from the delivery guy for dropping my drinks on the floor. I will never buy from them again.

Food is great - I really like the chicken with honey and chilli. The broccoli with garlic is my favourite, always al dente and fresh! would definitely order again...

Banana fritters were soggy and disgusting

Arrived in 15 minutes! Good food. The only criticism is everything is too mild - hot and sour soup was neither hot not sour, beef in black bean sauce had very little of said sauce and just didn't pack a punch. My partner really loves the "delicate flavours" though, so waddu I know?

Quick delivery, average food. Salt and chilli chicken wings tasted stale

Don't order any vegetable dishes from here! I ordered the mixed vegetable stir fry with ginger sauce and the mixed vegetable green curry and they were both flavourless, watery and just contained onion and lettuce. I had two tiny pieces of carrots and broccoli and that was the only other vegetables I had. Wouldn't call a lettuce and onion curry mixed vegetables!! What a disappointment.

I like the chicken bawls there really good so new China gets a big thumbs up from where I'm Sitting!

Food was really good quality, but there's no point leaving delivery instructions to say the doorbell doesn't work and to call me when you get here only for the delivery guy to say "Your doorbell doesn't work, I had to call you!" If it's awkward every time, I'll have to go somewhere else. Thanks.

I normally order king prawn balls and mixed rice of some sort, also I've tried the squid, beef and chicken wings ( various marinades ) and I've honestly always been happy with their food. Excellent flavours, hot and fast delivery

The delivery came in literally 15 minutes, rice was gorgeous no grease at all. Great all round !!!!

Delivery was fast! Special rice was great. Though ribs were really dry and the Singapore chow Mein was pretty flavourless. Spent £35...prawn crackers would have been nice.

We ordered red thai curry chicken, what we received did not resemble anything close to red thai chicken from a Thai restaurant. Awful experience.

The spare ribs were great but I was disappointed with the chop suey. It was more like sweet sour vegetable which is not what I expected or wanted. I would order from them again but not the chop suey.

The food was exceptionally good. The hot and sour soup is one of the best I had and my foo yung was a very healthy 50:50 split of noodles to meat. My girlfriends crispy noodles and gravy (cannot remember the name of the dish) where delicious. The only thing to be desired about the meal was the wonton soups broth was a little bland, that being said the wonton themselves where delicious. The delivery was so quick. They sent saying it would take an hour for the food to arrive, as to be expected on a Friday night. They were at our door in 30 mins. Very happy. Very good service. Will buy again.

Food was ok but not much flavour, I ordered the House Special Noodle which was bland and the prawn balls were chewy and the prawns not cooked properly in places so I left the rest. The only good thing was the delivery time! Didn't use restaurant service but wouldn't let me leave blank?!

Very happy I discovered this place.

The padthai was so tasty but very very spice..

The salt and pepper prawns were quite soggy not as crispy as usual which was disappointing and the duck was quite dry and flavourless. Maybe the chef was just having a off day because the food normally very nice.

This is the 6th time I've ordered from Newchina and as always the food is delicious. Fresh green vegetables, flavourful rice and noodles and crispy batter on the chicken, so far sooooooo good!

Portion sizes were good for the price, food was average but took over an hour to arrive on a Tuesday evening

The rice was awful and the beef in black been sauce tasted like beef in coloured water and the sweet and sour chicken Hong Kong style had more vegetables than chicken Plus it took a hour and twenty minutes to arrive

Clearly ordered a 2 litre bottle of sprite, but was given a can instead. £2.50 for a can?! Utterly useless. Delivery guy didn't even offer to replace it or give me some money back. Shan't be using again

I ordered and paid for drinks but they didn't deliver them

After ordering our meal the restaurant changed our time and then when I called the restaurant at their delivery time they said that we would only get the food in a further 30 minutes so this would have been 2 hours after the order first went in . Easier to cook!!! Disappointing service

Very disappointing. Usually tasty, enjoyable food but this time it was lacking in flavour and we didn't enjoy it at all. The steamed dumplings tasted as if they had sausage meat in them rather than tasty Chinese pork.. The sesame toasts didn't taste of much, the Duck in Chinese sauce was just ok, and the roast pork chow mein had very little pork in it.. Wish I'd cooked us a plate of pasta instead, would've been cheaper and tastier.

Tired of waiting 75 minutes for a small order

Ordered take away at 7 arrived by 9, free stuffs (stated on leaflet) were not given to us and they charged £1 for delivery as contrary to the info stated on leaflet. We will not order from them again.

Probably the most bang average Chinese I've ever eaten.

Sent the wrong order twice, ordered vegetarian food and received meat products.. called back and asked for them to re deliver, when they did again brought the wrong food... then when we called to ask for a refund they refused.... outrageous!

This was one of the most flavourless takeaway I have had for years, and the stir fry vegetables were predominantly slices of onion. Poor choice.

Ordered at 6.30 and didn't arrive until 8.50. No phone call etc. Food was delivered appallingly. Duck was loose with pancakes and only 5 prawn crackers - for £1.50? Ridiculous. Won't order again.

Food was terrible thiss time, all my favourites were 2nd rate AND it took just over 2 hours for delivery instead of 40 minutes. Won't use again.

Absolutely disgusted by the service tonight. I ordered my food at 19:10 and it's expected arrival was 20:10 later changed to 20:40. After waiting half an hour (21:10), I called back and the lady explained they didn't have any drivers, I then asked to be notified when my food was on its way; she then hung up. When my food eventually arrived, after 2 and a half hours (21:45), I was told by the driver the issue was that there wasn't enough people cooking. The food itself is cold and greasy. To top it off, they didn't even send any prawn crackers. Never will I ever order from New China again, what a disappointment.

Ordered take away for delivery, it took over two hours to come. Food was good when it finally arrived, however not quite worth the wait. Also was promised a free bottle of coke because it was late but this didn't appear and no complementary prawn crackers.

Dreadful. I cancelled the order as after 2 hrs it still hadn't arrived. When I called the restaurant they didn't apologise and just said it would be another 30mins, 1.5hrs after the estimated arrival time. I cancelled the order and won't bother again.

Awful service. They delivered the food 1 hour 45 minutes later. They kept sending messages saying the food would be delayed because the restaurant was busy (on a Thursday night? For 1 hour and 45 minutes?? They just need to heat the rice!) I called to Just Eat to see if they could contact the restaurant. The call took 2 minutes. 3 minutes after the delivery guy rang downstairs and said he was outside 10 minutes, trying to call. Didn't have a single missed call. We were not hungry anymore.

The Chilli chips were kinda gross, they tasted very acidic, I added salt and black pepper to offset the taste (extremley plain and acidic). The box was not even filled up. The King Prawn Chow Mein was okay, except the noodles were not in the least bit crispy. The Prawns were the best part, fresh and big. The highlight of the meal was the chilli oil which was perfect. Everything else was abismal - did not taste like chinese/Thai whatever it was meant to be.
