nice taste to all the food we had which we got the set meal for 2, however do not get the prawns, DO NOT GET THE PRAWNS, only just got off the toilet, it’s a shame cause the guy who delivered my food was great and the guy who ordered on the phone was great but the prawns were not a good choice, thank you and sorry

Food overall way too salty. King prawn balls were huge amount of batter with tiny pawns. Sweet and sour sauce slightly too watery. Overall bad experience won't be going back.

Although this is not my usual takeaway I read the reviews and decided to give it a try. I was sadly disappointed, the food was almost cold, the chips looked like they had been warmed up more than once and there was an odd taste to my food. Unfortunately I will not be reordering again. Having said this I must praise the gentleman who took my order on the phone he was very pleasant and cheerful, the delivery guy was also charming. This isn’t a bad review, just an honest one.

Takeaway from Food Hub. Was on time.hors douerves .. seawood was okay. Ribs had to be thrown as no sign of any meat on any of them. Steak Cantonese.. way too much meat (I know I shouldn't moan) with a few onions and a small amount of thick congealed sauce. Rice was average. Also ordered lemon chicken and chilli beef.. both very average. Considering I personally only had rice and steak Cantonese was very surprised to find 2 very thin bones that if I hadn't been vigilant could have been really dangerous. Really disappointed. Won't be back again

I’ve ordered food online as it was saying on their brochure -10% if you so so, turns out the prices online are much more expensive, still they told me on the phone that I had my 10% off…ok.Then it also said free bottle over £45, without saying more..turns out online you have to spend £60…told them nicely on the phone that I would expected a free drink with my food, knowing that I’ve already past on the higher price through online order..the person on the phone was very rude, and hand out on my face. This is the last time in going there, the food may be nice but disrespectful poeple. A shame.

Paid upfront—always a bad sign. Meat was tough, flavourless, and everything tasted like it had been sitting out since three days ago. The atmosphere was pure ‘in decline’. No clue how they’re still in business. Avoid unless you’re into punishment dining.

Oh dear…. We have always rated Fred’s but we booked for Mother’s Day and it was very disappointing. I rang made the booking over the phone. When we arrived they said they didn’t have a reservation for us but I showed the call on the Wednesday before when I rang. We were shown to the table and we ordered. Seaweed came out and five minutes later two rices, then two mains , another two mains and then the rest. We started dishing out on these bizarre dishes-they were like a thick Denny pottery, no rice bowls or chopsticks were offered. Anyway the seaweed was stone cold as were four so called sizzling dishes. Called the lovely waitress who got the manager who told us:seaweed is always cold? The sizzling fillet steak dish was also not fillet. He said then well the food is warm! My husband said: at your prices all the food should be hot and served together. We ended up not eating a thing with two very disappointed mums. The prices are fine dining and even the prawn crackers aren’t complimentary but £4.50. Never again and £5 yes £5 for a pint of lime and soda because I was driving. Used to be amazing now it’s terrible.

Nice meal, great size portions. One main was salty. Had the fixed menu, staff would not change a main course unless we paid for the deluxe menus. First two courses very good, well cooked and presented. Main was good except for prawn in black bean, which was rather salty. Couple on the next table did not eat any of one of their beef mains, saying it was far too salty to eat, so do complain if you can't eat it. We managed ours but would have preferred less salt, rest of the mains were good in quality and presentation.
