Willow House in Nottingham

This place is consistently very good- I've been going for 3 years and have enjoyed everything I've had from there. A few friends have also switched to here because it's much better!

I always order the same thing and love it every time. Always tastes good, value for money and a lot cheaper than other Chinese takeaways. Very nice lady as well

After looking at reviews for Chinese Restaurants as I was passing through sherwood and I haven't had 1 for a long time and was also looking for a great place as there wasn't 1 in Netherfield all close buy . Wow amazing food I definitely will be having Chinese regularly again It's been a few years trying to find one as nice as one I used from about 8 years ago. Top marks finally found 1 that I will enjoy again Thankyou made me feel welcome and all had big smiles and was happy which made me happy and felt comfortable speaking with other customers waiting. Time waiting wasn't long. They also deliver as far as Netherfield.

The best Chinese we have found in the area. Dishes are always consistent and exactly what you hope a Chinese takeaway would be. A bit of a pain that it's cash only!

Credit where credit's due; this was the best value chinese take-away I've had for as long as I can remember. While the decor is rather dated, they clearly put all their energy into the food which was really good in all 5 items we had. Good job done here

The service was very polite and friendly. The prices are very competitive. The food portions are generous and good quality - not overly salty like other places. There is parking available around the back for collection.

Have been coming here for meany years the best Chinese take away in Nottingham hence why it’s been going 30+ years! Run by Friendly family aways happy to help very busy but quick food always fresh and hot!!! Definitely would recommend

This place is a breath of fresh air , it is consistently fantastic quality food , I have struggled lately to find a good Chinese takeaway but the willow house is now my "place to go " , the king prawn curry last night was superb !!.

Amazing quality and value. This place has been enjoyed by the people of sherwood and surrounding areas for years and hopefully it will do for years to come!

Absolutely horrible yuck this is the worst chinese takeaway I've ever had!! Had quite a few takeaways from them I've never liked them but my partner did!! Now he agrees with me disgusting horrible yuck!! Never again!!

I have been a customer for 30+ years, chicken chop suey is the finest I have ever tasted. Would also recommend the king prawn foo hung. No pretensions, it’s a Chinese take away and it does that extremely well.

By far the best Chinese food I have had in a long time. It’s a takeaway only. Dishes were very fresh. Will definitely be back soon - highly recommended

Was set for a lovely evening when I found a massive clump of hair in my shredded duck. Will not be returning.

ordered delivery special chow mein pork balls chips chow mein had a dried up fried egg on top and the sweet n sour pork balls were made with mince pork and the batter was rock hard the chips looked liked they were yesterdays warmed up

Good customer service, food very tasty, good value for money. Parking is free, the car park is the next road to the takeaway.

Have been having takeaways from the Willow House for over 25 years, always great value food. Very friendly - we will be returning for the next 25 years at least!!

Chips that were cooked and cooked again, same as the last time I ordered from here - I thought it was a one off. Grease dropping from the chicken balls - straight in the bin.

Tried this place as the place we used to order from has gone down hill. However, the spring rolls and King Do shredded chilli beef tasted burnt (the beef was well over done). The noodles were ok and the prawn rice average! We will continue to search....

The food here is amazing, never had a bad meal, there is a large selection to choose from and the prices are affordable plus they offer delivery.

Food was tasteless and meat was poor quality. Had some spare ribs and the meat was harder than the bone. Will not be returning here

Great chinese food. Usual menu of delights with a few Chef specials too. My wife loves the special fried Rice. All good.

It's OK but I can make as good a Chow Mein at home. The Prawn balls were ok, the sauce could have been used to lay bricks - very standard stuff.
