The best restaurants serving Chinese food in England

Shocking Christmas Eve service, pre ordered 12.45pm and delivery booked 7.10pm 7.15pm spoke shop they said driver just left!!!!!! 7.45pm no food me or another person called shop to find out they LOST OUR TICKET!!!!! Clearly money over orders and can't deliver on big nights which make big companies!!!!! Maybe don't open or limit orders and stop being greedy

I only ordered 3 basic things and unsure how they could get it wrong, considering it seemed so quiet and the guy that I presume is the chef was sat on his backside watching stuff on his phone in front of shop, he was asked to go to kitchen to sort my order which I find isn’t very appealing to customers, why are you treating your business like a front room? S&S cantonese chicken: the sauce was terrible and more like water and it tasted of nothing. Chicken soft noodles: about acceptable. Salt and chilli chips: completely undercooked, they reminded of part boiled spuds with a minuscule bit of spice thrown on them, how and why? I’m presuming the chef got bored and went back to his phone. On plus side free prawn crackers and the lady that took my order seemed nice but i definitely wouldn’t order from Hakka again as they can’t even get the basics right.

Always look forward to our food from here, clean, fresh food, friendly, never once been disappointed and I'm pretty hard to please!!!

Small Chinese take-away. Big menu, and big portions. Set meal for 3 lasted 2 days! Food cooked fresh as you wait. Don't be put off by the somewhat decrepit interior which does need bringing into the 21st Century, as the food was great. Perhaps a little more heat in the curry would have helped mind you. Girl on the front counter (and phone) was nice and friendly.

Out standing take away ,lovely beef and mushroom, great Chinese Chicken ,fantastic Prawns batter very crisp lovely rice ...always our favourite place

The order arrived 35 minutes after their estimate, the driver didn't seem to know where he was delivering to. Food was ok but I had to spend another 20 minutes carefully reheating.

I was surprised recently to read one or two poor reviews of this takeaway so I returned tonight. I have to say the extra hot prawn curry rice and chips I had was one of the best ever although the salt and pepper chilli ribs were a little bit on the fatty side as usually they are first class. Overall I really enjoyed the food as did my wife. No way could you give it less than 4 stars.

Food terrible greasy and oily Meat tough Chicken smelled , rice and prawn smelled before I opened the pack. Absolutely disgusting rang them up and the owner said I will give you credit. What a load of nonsense, after waiting over 1hour 32 mins. Don’t waste ur money

Very good service and very good standard of food. Highly recommend. Will recommend to other people such as friends family and colleagues.

Food was 3 and half hours late, arrived at 10:15pm, way too late to eat. Tried to phone for an update or to cancel but went to answerphone with a message stating they were closed. Turned the food away as it was too late by then to eat it. Won't be using again.

Awful. From the smell in the takeaway itself to the so called food that was provided. How places like this stay in business I don’t know. They are taking the Mickey. I won’t visit here again.

Phoned to order a takeaway. Two chicken curries one extra hot breast chicken only two fried rice only to get told by the women they have legs as well. I replied it was the white chicken I wanted her reply was that we better leave it and hung the phone up on me. She was very rude in her attitude, I have been going to this Chinese takeaway from when they opened which is a lot of years will not be going back and will be telling all my family and friends. Think she should take a course in customer service skills because she obviously hasn’t done one before

Collection area a bit grim, but food was very good.
