Out standing take away ,lovely beef and mushroom, great Chinese Chicken ,fantastic Prawns batter very crisp lovely rice ...always our favourite place

Lovely takeaway Chinese. Food was cooked to order, really tasty and the sizes of the portions were fine for me and my partner (noting that some previous reviews said they were small). The lady who served us was friendly and welcoming. Prices are still pretty reasonable and the food was all cooked nicely. Would have no hesitation in recommending to anyone in the Swanley area. Final note - The Rainbow Inn is now just a takeaway no longer a restaurant.

The crispy chili beef tasted lovely, just a shame the portion was so small. The curry sauce was runny. Sadly a very small plate of food, of mediocre quality. We will look for somewhere else. Worst take-away we've had in Swanley.

Placed an order on Thursday, portion sizes were EXTREMELY small, after placing order I called back to double check if it was main course size, she confirmed it was, but when arrived I was shocked, it was smaller then a starter size. Picture attached! Food was absolutely tasteless!!! I was a regular customer there, but won’t be ordering ever again. Extremely disappointed!!!

We always use this as our local takeaway. Great food and great service. Have never had a order wrong.

What a busy place, particularly in their take-away area. Food was excellent. Duck, prawns - in fact EVERYTHING was really good. We weren't rushed and prices are fairly reasonable. Staff were really friendly and helpful. THANK YOU to all. ENJOY!

Discovered this lovely little restaurant when staying in Swanley for Brands Hatch. The food was delicious and so fresh and service was very prompt. Portions were generous and the staff were very friendly, as well as efficient. Lin, who was managing the restaurant as well as their very busy take-away service, was an absolute wonder and such a lovely young woman! We liked it all so much that we went back the following evening and shall certainly eat there every time we stay in Swanley!

Ordered chicken chow mein and chicken balls for my partner, he ate them and within an hour that night vomited profusely!! Don’t think the chicken was cooked properly.. it was the only thing he ate all night! wont be going here again..

Quite tired decor but the quality of food surpasses decor faults. Floor could have been cleaner. Best special fried rice ever eaten.

I cannot believe this place, made an order for collection, arrived at the time given to collect and only had a 2 minute drive home. The meat in the chicken curry was hot but the sauce was lukewarm. The grilled dumplings were soggy and tepid. The special noodles and the special rice were also just warm. The restaurant had only been open 5 minutes when I placed the order, so said it would take 15 minutes to cook. Could have been leftover from lunchtime it was that bad. Crossing this off my list to eat at when I am in swanley in future. Spoke to restaurant and they did not seem to care. If you order food from here check the cartons are really hot before you leave the restaurant, you have been warned......

Enjoyed the very good food and service. However, they really are missing a trick as one of the few restaurants in this area it could be amazing with a good refurbishment. This place has not changed in years and years, it looks very drab, tired and dated even the little cheap wine glasses are very 70's. Such a sad reflection on the good food they serve. Not a comfortable night out like an old fashioned doctors waiting room.

Ordered a takeaway and the skin on the Crispy Duck was pappy and there was a bare minimum of sliced spring onion to go in the pancakes, the Hot and Sour Soup was just like an ordinary chicken stew (being thick), the Sesame Prawn Toast had sesame on one side and grease minus sesame seed on the other and as for the Salt and Pepper Spare Ribs I can think of no way to describe them: But the rice was fine as were the Prawn Crackers - but then they are free if you've just blown nearly thirty quid on largely inedible food. It used to be good but not any more.

i dont rate this place at all!!! i bought a large chicken fried rice and they gave me a small size in a large sized container and the chicken was disgusting with bits of at and stuff still attached to it, so i phone them and told them and '''they told me they will do nothing about it as this is their standards'''' so, if i were you, i wouldnt eat from here unless you are very desperate and dont mind wasting money on the worst chineese ive ever come across

Great Chinese restaurant, the owner is very nice and friendly. Delicious Chicken Chow Mein & curry sauce. Also the chicken is halal which is fantastic.

We had a take away. All of it was delicious. Most especially the clear chicken & mushroom soup. We thoroughly enjoyed eating the prawn crackers while we waited & thought that was a nice touch.

I was told by a friend about the rainbow inn I must say I wasn’t disappointed the food is spot on, I returned 3 times since for eat In and take away, great food and service it’s a thumbs up from me.

You used to get a bag full of chicken or pork balls but now the ten they give you are extremely small about one third of a bag. Staff are nice and friendly but portion control ike this will put off the loyal customers like me especially as so many chinese restaurants locally do a delivery service. Have been going here for years.

El personal es tan atento. Somos una familia musulmana y especialmente pedimos halal entrante; la señora china que sabía exactamente lo que estábamos buscando y nos aconsejaron los elementos que sería justo para nosotros. El mismo se ofreció a preparar por separado, así que se mantendría de cocina halal.

Love this place. Friendly staff. Excellent food. Always reminds me of visiting a friends house for dinner.

We haven't used the rainbow for a few years now because they don't deliver and was became lazy but after a few bad meals from our usual takeaway we decided to go back to the Rainbow and what a great decision it was.the food was lovely and tastey and not atall greasy.we'll definitely be making the effort to not be lazy in future.

Went in to get a takeaway as i have used this chinese takeawy for over 30 years . ordered and untrained staff not only kept me waiting 40 minutes but actually gave my order to someone else who then bought it back , then the staff offered that to me ! Disgusting unhygienic behaviour and food was not cooked properly ..wont be using rainbow inn again

This place is great! Have used the takeaway service hundreds of times and dined in a handful of times too. The food is lovely and service is good. Not the cheapest place around but still worth every penny

After moving to area 18 months ago we occasionally used the Rainbow for our takeaway treat....NOT ANYMOREWe have had a few meals that haven't been up to par and because they are gracious they have accepted that there has been a problem and sorted it out. However today after a long break between ordering, we decided to try again, exactly the same order and it was awful..Prawn balls were tasteless, the batter horrid, rice sticky, it's been sitting there ages....No more, enough is enough.

We visited this small Chinese Restaurant while staying at the near by Premier Inn on a visit to Brands Hatch.A fabulous place. Small friendly inexpensive and absolutely brilliant food. Really nice people and well worth visiting if your in the area. Capacity approx 10 tables.

Excellent tasty food and friendly service. Good atmosphere for a Tuesday night. Will defiantly be coming back soon. Thank you.

I used this restaurant regularly more years ago than I care to remember, the food and service were always excellent.I returned a few weeks ago and found that nothing had changed, the food and service make this Chinese the best in the area by far. Even on a Saturday evening the tables are well spaced and it is a pleasure to be able to have a conversation at a table for six without raising your voice or straining to hear above background noise.I am now a regular customer again.

Lovely Meal Here Tonight, Meal For Two As On Date Night Brilliant Service, Lovely Fresh Food, Front Of House Lady So Lovely Hard Working And Very Attentive First Time Eating In Often Get Takeaway But Defo Going Back

Thing is I've been coming here for years and because they don't deliver I got lazy one day and ordered a delivery from magic wok nearby, the difference in quality is obvious, the Rainbow inn is a decent quality of Chinese food that keeps me coming back again and again, the people there are very friendly and the prices are very good in my view, highly recommended

Wasn't sure about this place from looking in from the outside but soooo glad we ate from here!! Absolutely delicious food. Highly recommend.

We have been here a few times now the food is very nice and staff are very friendly service is amazing.This is the best Chinese in the area.

A very good Chinese restaurant with charming staff and a very friendly atmosphere, have been here twice now and unlike the other Chinese in Swanley this one isn't half as busy if sitting in but takeaways seem to be key to this establishment.The food whilst pricy unlike other Chinese in area is probably a better fresher standard, but comparing the two I would use the other one unless special occasions called for otherwise.

Passed it hundreds of times but thought it was just a takeaway. A friend ate there and spoke well of it so when I had an oriental business visitor I took him there although he was staying at the Premier Inn where I would not recommend the evening meals.Unprepossessing exterior but inside immaculate, warm, well-lit. Excellent.polite service and the food above average for this cuisine.Recommended.
