The best restaurants in United Kingdom serving Chinese food

Hong Kong sweet and sour chicken was so overcooked I could not eat it. Chips were like bullets because of being again overcooked.

Regular customer for takeaway. Anorexic. Ill. Spent money before there. Often. They would not do a thing when I called to say I was just 3 pence short on the one dish I needed. Due to not wishing to ask an abusive parent for help. Sorry. Lost my custom. For having no empathy. For someone who is not trying to rip anyone off. And was just 3 pence short to get a single dish until she has more money. Now off my list of places to order from when I do have money. Empathy and compassion cost nothing.

Food was okay. But was 3 hours late!

Came across King's Chinese Takeaway in Stamford Road by chance as all others in Kettering seemed to be closed. However, I wasn't disappointed as the food was delicious and at a reasonable price. Will visit them again.

Order from this Chinese and it’s usually the best, good strong flavours and well cooked meat. This time it took over an hour to arrive, every single bit of food was bland and the chicken was like rubber. Very disappointing

Booked for Chinese New Year with friends, had a lovely evening. It was extremely busy which may be why staff weren’t quite as attentive with replacing cutlery (as soon as we managed to get someone’s attention, cutlery was replaced quickly). Food was delicious, non greasy, atmosphere was great and the bonus of having the New Year lion dance was the cherry on the top! Will definitely re-visit.

Extremely poor quality food, will not use again. Had ‘Chicken Curry and Egg Fried Rice’. The curry was some ingredients that had been heated together in a very, very watery and tasteless ‘sauce’. The onions were raw and the chicken had been sliced in at the end of the prep. The sauce was like a stock cube and had no depth of flavour. The rice was overcooked and had some fried egg through it, but fried rice it was certainly not. I could not, in all conscience, recommend this restaurant to anyone, and would say to avoid it at all cost.

My wife hasn't had a Chinese meal for years due to her Gluten intolerance, the fact you have a separate menu for gluten free diners was superb. The lemon chicken, sweet and sour chicken and salt and pepper chicken hit on another level and they were battered, rather than just plain chicken pieces. We'll defiantly be back. Thank you
