The best restaurants in United Kingdom serving Chinese food

Bought lemon chicken and boiled rice but had to throw it away when I got home. The rice was hard and tasted ‘old’ like it was cooked yesterday. Half the chicken was ok but the rest had a strange taste and I didn’t want to risk food poisoning. There was also very little sauce. What a shame as I have visited this takeaway quite a few times over the years but I’m wondering if it’s changed hands? I phoned to let them know about the food and got no joy. Sadly I’ll not be driving the 20 mins to return and waste money on unpalatable food.

We have been going to this Chinese for years. It's the best around by far. And it delivers to local villages. Never had a bad chinese ever.

Don’t normally have a Chinese on a Monday. However my usual Chinese closed. Received an excellent service from the telephone operator to the food. The meal was delicious, large potatoes chips, not black eyed chipped stumpy ones. The duck was fresh and delicious. This will be my new take away service. Thank you!!

Chung Ying House is absolutely fantastic! The food is incredibly delicious, freshly prepared, and full of authentic flavors. Ordering online and picking it up from the store was super convenient and hassle-free. Highly recommend.

I love the food here but the woman who takes the orders is so rude and unfriendly I’ve stopped going.

SERIOUSLY... this place is so good. I went there once and I have been going there repetitively every few weeks. BELIEVE ME WHEN I SAY IT: The squid is awesome. From the hundreds of choices from the menu, all of them taste delicious and me and my family love it. I even gave it to my friends and they praised how scrumptious everything is. WELL... I guess if you don't try, you CANNOT know how amazing, fantastic, authentic this place is. HAPPY EATING;)

I previously left a 5 star rating, but due to recent service, I'm changing it. I've have made several telephone orders for delivery and had the staff member read back the order. Each time my order gets delivered, there's something missing. It's always a bag of chips or a curry sauce or a portion of rice. This is happening far too often. I have complained about it but get the usual apology. A couple of my friends have said they have noticed this also. I personally think that this is far too coincidental as its always the same thing that's getting missed out. If this takeaway does this often, they're clicking £££s on each customer. My other complaint is that they only accept cash payments. Definitely a fiddle going on. They also don't have a website or app to place an order. I won't be using them again.
