Worse Chinese in Scotland. We will start off with the price. It’s an absolute fortune for the worst quality food. The Chinese guy in the back who cooks is very aggressive and arrogant. Chips are waxy. Rice is stodgy. Curry sauce tastes like salty chicken soup. Chicken noodle soup was hot salty water. Chicken balls ? They were spongy things with white jelly inside. Over all rating is a minus 1. Wont be back. The Richmond Chinese is just 2 minutes up the road and they do a lunch menu which is half the price and well well better than than this salt hut .

Ordered the set meal, price looked good for the amount of food that was the only good thing about it. The chicken noodle soup was bland had zero flavour, the fried rice was hard, cold and burnt. The chicken curry was very bland with a cheap sauce and chewy meat. Ordered a side of chips that were extremely salty. First time trying and definitely won't be back. Very disappointing!!!

Food not good , chicken black bean tasteless and shrimp dish had way too much chili in it , we like chili but this was over kill and hardly any shrimp . Also I love Chinese curry but , they are now putting nuts in the sauce , not good for us that are allergic to them . I thought it was just Thai that used coconut and nuts in their sauces

Not worth the price chow main bland taste less gravy gluoppy. Chicken wings nice but after 1 the salt way to much.

Wasn’t the best, the photo I have enclosed is supposed to be chicken noodle soup barely any liquid, the chow mein wasn’t great either , cold chicken tossed on top of noodles with gravy

Nice Chinese takeaway food, good lunchtime deals and nice evening meals (takeaway only). Cash only but there is a cash machine on side of the petrol station. I had salt pepper ribs and special fried rice, which were both excellent.

Best carry out Chinese in East kilbride

I put my sweet and sour chicken and fried rice straight into the bin after just a few mouthfuls as it was dreadful. Gave it a go, as we have never ordered from here before and completely ruined our takeaway night.The chicken balls were very thin, compared to every other Chinese takeaway and they were really soggy. The fried rice was bland and the sweet and sour sauce looked a very strange brown colour and tasted every bit as foul as it looked. The other two meals, salted chilli chicken and chips were slopped into a box with congealed looking curry sauce poured over the top. Grossly overpriced too. I paid substantially more than our usual takeaway for inferior food. Never again!

Shop is very small so in these Covid times you will be waiting out on the street.Just in case its raining! Don't let that put you off though, food was nice and fresh. Be warned though it's cash only no card payments accepted. If you don't have cash you will need to pay a visit to the cashpoint at the garage next door

satay inedible expensive compared to other take aways, prices hiked up to cover cost of just east charges . Do not understand why customers insist on using just eat you are being overcharged by using this method of ordering

Had a great delivery, tasty and hot. Always love the food and fast delivery. I loved the crispy chilli chicken and salt n pepper chicken starter.

Portion sizes are absolute incredible, I love the food, free prawn crackers deal is nice and it's just all round a great place. It has drawbacks like not being able to use card, but even delivery is quick so I can let that slide

1st takeaway delivery after lockdown. Beautiful food, well cooked and fast delivery. Really missed our weekly takeaway but great that they are back up and running.

We always enjoy our food from here, great value and tasty. We usually get the set menu which gives you some mixed starters, soup and a main course with rice and prawn crackers.

Chicken rubbery .not cooked on skewers, sauce not peanut sauce ,tasteless ,worst ever takeaway did complain over phone said could cook on of off skewers and was there not nuts in sauce - yes there were a few small pieces sprinkled in to a sauce of unknown description awful meal and not cheap

I just go there for chips that are cheap. Pretty good food for the value in my opinion. Other stores around it isn't as good or too expensive. I don't know about the other products this take-away sells.

I'll never eat out there again just picked an order up they were washing the woks with water bellow them it was like the clyde puddle water yuck thats terrible then a wee ladel of clean n out stinking that is

It used to be a public toilet for over 40 years until the 2 units were converted into a Chinese and a bakery I remember this so for that reason I cant get eating out here into my head glad they never called it the pee king

You can get soup, ribs, veg pancakes rolls, a main with rice and prawn crackers, so great for the price

Very tasty and fresh, especially the fried rice. I wouldn't recommend the chicken balls though, as they are like bullets. Instead of maybe 8 big chunky ones that you tend to get elsewhere, you get about 50 tiny little ones like marbles. Will definitely use again though.

The satay sauce literally tasted nothing like peanuts. Also the special chow mien was very poor. My friends ribs were about the only part of our meal that I ate. Wouldn’t recommend. Also don’t take card payments which is a bit of a pain as had to go to the bank machine.

Good selection on the menu fast service food always hot and reasonable prices what more can i say worth trying it out!!!

Salt and pepper chicken was dreadfull batter was strange and chicken was minging. Very poor.

We get a salt & chilli munchy box nearly every week & They are th4 best you can get but have to say hats off to the chef tonight it was dynamite

Have ordered from this take away at least a dozen times and the food and service are consistently first class. I know that the owners own another take away in East Kilbride and knew they're food standards were high so I was happy to give this place a go when it opened. There were a few issues when they opened initially with service levels while staff were being sourced for front of house and deliveries etc. but the food has never let me down. Love their salt and chilli dishes and they're satay is so much better than anywhere else I've tried. Excellent quality of food and quality ingredients always. And great portion sizes too... usually have to have a couple of go's at it to finish!

Ordered a mixed chow mein to collect...only took around 10 minutes and the food was fantastic.. order from here!!

Amazing best in East Kilbride, but the only issue is that they do not take card payment.

Went in at lunch time and got curried chicken and boiled rice. The chicken was cheap as hell. Slimy and one bit that was very unpleasant, tasted like it wasn't cooked enough. My son also got a £6 box, where you get to choose two meats and rice. The chicken, again was rank totten. Don't think it was chicken, if it is, it's the cheapest,horrible bits. Back to ordering from The Curry House.

Excellent food , healthily prepared and served quick a firm favourite .

Was in tonight, ordered and paid for a portion of sweet and sour chicken balls, portion of fried rice, portion of soft noodles, not huge order, not busy, get home no soft noodles .. food that we got was average, chicken a bit on rubbery side, first and last time using this outlet

Excellent Chinese . The curry sauce is excellent and the staff are very friendly. Use Wok this way every day for lunch and is always excellent . I think the 1 st review is very harsh and wrong in so many ways . Keep up the good work

Wok This Way at first glance appears to be exactly what St Leonard's Square had been crying out for. A Chinese takeaway.I decided to try this not long after Wok This Way opened. I went in on a Saturday night & placed my order for a breast of chicken curry, fried rice, extra curry sauce & a portion of chips.The door to the takeaway, despite having only been opened for a week had a broken door that wouldn't shut. On a cold December night with waiting customers the shop despite having a stand alone heater/fire was actually bitterly cold. It made waiting for the food absolutely unbearable.The lady on the counter, if she was taking an order from a customer who had walked in, if the phone happened to ring, she'd rush to answer the phone & proceed to take a phone order as priority over a customer who was actually stood in front of her. Very unprofessional & very unwelcoming. She was juggling looking after a young child, taking orders from people walking in & also answering phones for takeaway orders.When I received my order, I was glad to get back into my car to thaw out having waited inside Wok This Way for my food.Onto the food. The curry sauce wasn't all that great, there was no spice/flavour to it & very bland. The fried rice & chips were fine but the chicken in my curry was absymal. It was very jelly like, spongey & not very nice. I've certainly had better breast of chicken curries from other more professional establishments in East Kilbride, Marlboro & China Cottage to name just two.Wok This Way only opens till around 9pm - 10pm. It's not exactly late opening but it does seem to open at around midday to cater to the lunch trade of local school children paying £3 for lunchtime specials served in polystyrene containers.Far better Chinese takeaways in East Kilbride. A missed opportunity in St Leonard's Square from Wok This Way. It had been crying out for a decent Chinese takeaway, unfortunately it didn't get it.My advice to people thinking of ordering from here? Wok on by.

I went to wok this way for my lunch around two weeks ago.. the chips and curry sauce were enjoyable until I noticed a piece of chicken in my egg fried rice. This was a problem due to the fact I'm a vegetarian and to not eat chicken although the lady serving me was polite the chefs were not so much

Just walked out food smelled good but service complete joke we waited ages while the phone was answered over and over again. Then a lady came and said are you first and ignored us at front waiting to be served and served other people before us. Shambles of a place if that's the service you receive. We walked out as well as another 2 men waiting. Went to Indian next to it far better service
