Asked for a pizza with no cheese and it came with cheese and I specifically put in notes tomato base only they need to read their notes and I asked for a pepperoni pizza and got no pepperoni never again run worse than mcdonalds

Paratha was the worst ever, could hardly tear it apart, thin, dry!! Donner Kebab meat was also overcooked and dry. Won't be ordering again as this is the 3rd time being dissapointed with food

THE most disgusting, awful kebab I’ve ever had bar none. Rubbery bland donner meat, not even served properly, should have meat inside of pita bread with sauce and salad on top. But everything comes separate. Shambolic.

First class food delivered quickly and piping hot too.

TERRIBLE customer service and my last time using this place. Website states closing at 11pm. Got there for 10pm along with other customers who had also checked online, only to be told not serving anymore. If you live nearby it's bad enough. But having travelled from the other side of Glasgow, it's an absolute disgrace and an atrocities attitude towards regular customers. My advice: avoid the place like the proverbial plague and give other much more deserving establishments your hard-earned money.

For starters, It is extremely dirty and the floors are covered in pakora, cheese, sauce and chips. There is no personal conversation with the owner and he is hardly kind. I don't understand how this can get high reviews and I would give it a lower score if I could. I had some of their food and it was disgusting. My stomach hurts and feels awful hours after eating it, the chips are bland and horrible and the meat is raw. I feel literally sick now. I strongly recommend not coming here.

We love spicy village, we live in Airdrie but we always get food from there, it's the best!! Lovely staff also and very helpful! 😊😊

Just visited Spicy Village for a wee midweek takeaway. Got several dishes for my wife, daughter and myself. Also dropped off some pakora to my parents on the way home. I got a lamb dish on a nan bread, wife chicken on pitta bread and kebab for my daughter. My wife and daughter said their dishes were ok but my lamb dish was totally inedible, sand dry, chewy and seemed to have what I can only describe as a grit like substance running through the whole dish. I wasn't going to complain but my wife phoned and they gave me a chicken equivalent. Again mine was at very best, ok. They changed the dish without any trouble but he was not best pleased when I explained just how awful the food was. Tried to say all food is always fresh. I may not have a chefs palate but I know when something is fresh or not. Please let my disappointment and waste of money be a warning if ever you are thinking about using this establishment. Incidentally, my parents pakora was a disappointment too.

Mixed kebab had leathery mushrooms on it, and the mixed meats were all dry, if u read previous reviewers there seems to be a recurring theme of suspect re hearing there food in the micro wave!! Kebab meat was dry chewy abd shrunken !! This place is a health risk waiting to happen, food standards agency will be contacted before there microwave kill’s someone

Got a mixed pakora and a tandoori mixed grill, all tasted as if it had been reheated in a microwave, all was soggy, nan bread half cooked, given 1 star as the curry sauce was quite tasty

Good food, good service and well priced, curry’s are really good and also the different wraps and chips combo

Set meal for 2 ordered and paid £2.00 extra for chicken pakora only to receive 6 pieces , pretty poor

Tried this take out for the first time tonight. Ordered a Chicken Patia and a Vegatable chasni. Can honestly say it's the worst we've ever tasted . Chicken was dry and flavourless definitely was cooked first and heated in the sauce .patia sauce was dark and treacle like and sickly sweet. The vegetable chasni had hardly any vegetables and tasted very bland and sugary. First and last time won't be going there again.

Tried it out, first timer. Got a spicy hot pizza with chips for £11.60. The staff were nice but the food wasn't the best. I'll be giving it a miss from now on but you have to try these places out for yourself to see what they're like.

Used to go to this shop years ago and it was outstanding so thought I would place a order as was in that area . I ordered a large spicy chicken pizza which was down on the menu as MILD . Well what can I say it was so hot & spicy I couldn’t eat it . My husband who regularly eats vindaloo curry’s said it was even too hot for him it gave him a mouth ulcer . We also ordered a Donna kebab which was the opposite, no flavour at all - completely tasteless. What on earth is going on ? £20 and binned the lot. Won’t be back again.

This was my favourite Indian takeaway but recently the food has been poor. This latest offering was the worst with the grill box clearly having been microwaved including the pakora sauce. The korma and pizza were not much better. Sadly my last visit.

Ordered a large chicken pakora and when it arrived it was a box with a huge amount of chips and 7 pieces of pakora. Disgraceful, and the chips just tasted like greasy paper. Never using them again.

I've just called the restaurant The food was tasty and the delivery driver couldn't have been any nicer. He was extremely lovely and very chatty. A real credit to Spicy Village 👏

Wouldn’t even give 1 star. Ordered a 16inch pizza... and when it came it was undercooked and the dough was half arsed. Wasn’t cooked whatsoever. We phoned the store and the lady on the phone was absolutely amazing; metioned there was previous complaints about the pizza which had 2 bases, so we got another pizza with a single layer... to open it and still have undercooked dough and a half arsed job. £19.50 for a pizza that even the dog wouldn’t eat. Would NOT recommend Spicy for pizza, I’d recommend Cafe India in Burnside. Very unimpressed with tonight’s service. Officially can say our families dinner has been ruined. Unhappy children and unhappy parents. No impressed.

Just ordered a chicken burger and chips can I just say it was the best meal I have ever had man loved it I recommend going here💯🙂

Like a lot of people I got into the rut of using the carryout I liked without trying others too often. When the local Indian restaurant closed for refurbishment I decided to try this one I have driven by for years. A really good decision food is delicious pay with their app for a discount or use just eat. Do this for delivery or Collection as I stated it’s cooked fresh and it saves a 20 minute wait. Selection is vast full Indian, Kebab, burger, even fish supper. Just give it a try you will not regret it.

We had the set meal 1 chicken pakora , chicken korma and garlic nan and a extra rice. The pakora was ok but the sauce was disgusting. Chicken korma was lovely chicken nice and tender.

Best thing about this place is that it's quick. Had the mixed kebab a few times and it's okay but not great quality. Le Runa in Cambuslang is miles ahead. Bought a pizza from Spicy Village and it was horrible. Greasy and seems they use white cheddar on pizza instead of mozzarella. Same price to order on website or Just Eat, 40 p card charge aswell.

Staff friendly and very helpful when enquiring about food allergens. Home deliveries are normally very quick

Lovely as always although wasnt as much donner pakora in the bag as there usually is and the 6 meat kebab didnt have 6 different meats in but was still lovelly

restaurant didn’t follow instructions. asked for a hoagie without cheese. got a tortilla wrap with chips, a full block of cheese and donner meat. won’t be ordering from here again.

Superb takeaway. Food was delicious and piping hot. I requested a special kind of naan, not on menu, and was kindly obliged. I received a phone call from the shop just before my order was due for delivery, advising me that they were busy and my order would be late. Around 5 minutes later it arrived, again with an apology and a smile from the driver. Smashing food, excellent service and delivery time wasn't an issue! Will order again

Curry and burger were great but there was no sauce with the donner, cheese and chips and the pakora barely had any batter on it and was rather chewy.

Chips were dry and mostly all small and crispy, not alot of meats and kebab meat was a bit dry, loved the salad and nan bread was thick just as I asked

All order was cold! The order wasn't here by estimated delivery time so i called restaurant 10 mins after delivery time was estimated as on this app it had it had been delivered. When I called I was told that my order was made and It was due to the roads being icy and then didn't receive my order till 40 mins after . Extremely disappointed!

The servers are always please take, food is quick and always tasty, in my experience if you have a requirement they are happy to listen and if you have an issue with the food it is replaced free of charge no questions asked.

Ordered small veg and chicken pakora more than enough portion was huge couldn't finish it all !! If I am being picky only thing I would say is I asked for white onion and gave me red onion if I wanted that would have ticked red onion ; none the less great food will be back
