Was stinking...chips un edible....curry sauce watery n no taste...cheap frozen chicken too.....waste of money......stay well clear

Service quite slow but that's not a bad sign as means busy. The mixed meat satay on skewers with fried rice was very tasty. The spring rolls however were small and a bit greasy. Would certainly get the satay again. Parking not great.

Use this takeaway most Saturdays, always get a takeaway and have it delivered, it sets a time but its always well within the times stated, always fresh and hot so if u need to wait then do, its worth it. Chicken curry, beef curry, salt and chilly crispy shredded chicken, fried rice cooked to perfection, never had a bad meal from here. Everything from staff to service to delivery drivers, all bang on. Nothing bad to say

Tonight I ordered a chicken chow mein, when it arrived I realised it had mushrooms in and I am allergic to mushrooms, I called the shop, and the staff were very helpful, they sent me another one without mushrooms, and it was amazing. Can highly recommend chungs. Thank you for your help guys.

Had a really good chicken with bean sprouts and spring rolls delivered to the Holiday Inn. Fresh and tasty food, would use them again

Used this for over 25 years n last twice its been stinking poor quality of food....also charging very expensive prices noo and using cheaper quality meat and chips....so bad never again !!!!!

Ordered Food on just eat took 2hrs for delivery called to see what was taking so long ,no answer several times .driver eventually arrive , basically gave and legged it good was cold dry awf,poor service ..avoid

Lady who owns this place allowed me to charge my phone that I stupidly buy my bus on every month because you know, everything is better done through the internet these days 🤷🏽‍♀️... apparently. I'd been heading home from work and for the kind gesture I bought my dinner there which I thoroughly enjoyed and again, obviously.. Never a dull moment with me hah, paid for it with my phone because I'm always losing my bank cards 🤭. Don't stop being kind to strangers, costs nothing and the way you know every single one of your customers so well, even meeting you for the first time and speaking to you, felt like two friends catching up after being away a while. Thought I would pop into Chungs for a curry as it used to be the best unique dark curry around many years ago. Sadly disappointed, worst curry I've ever had tasted like a curry sauce out of a packet from the supermarket, real amateur hour stuff. Obviously has changed owners at some point.

Great service any time I am in and very reasonably priced. Also don't have to wait as long as you do in other places. Would recommend to anyone.

I have just done a order on just eat when the food was delivered it was cold chips looked as if they had been lying around when I phoned to complain the female person told me that she had made the chips so they could not be cold and were just made before delivery. When this person went to speak to the manager I could hear him being very abusive about me would not do my order again and cancelled it. The customer service from this place is terrible I have took the pictures of the chips ect. This was about the quality of there food so it seems that they can't take a bit of criticism about a delivery won't use them again and also waiting to get my money back and notified from just eat which I have not

1st and last time. Grease pool at top of curry sauce, fried rice still saturated in oil, chips over cooked, curry sauce bland

We went there for Christmas dinner and the choice of meals was really good and the staff are very friendly and helpful .thats our second Christmas dinner there and they always do a good buffet

Great staff good food everything under one roof would be good for kids during the day but when night comes music a group are great .

Used to use chungs years ago, so ordered a takeaway tonight....chips are reheat's and their all the wee hard ones......and fummy taste from main dinner disappointed for the money I paid. Won't be using them again

Has Chung's been taken over? Incredibly poor service and food quality. What was once by far the best in Hamilton has become sub standard. Last time the the delivery took 90 mins on a Tuesday night and the food was cold. It happens I spoze ... forgive them once. Tonight, admittedly a Saturday, delivery took over 2 hours, NOT the 45 minutes stated on just eat. Called three times and for over an hour was told "it's on its way now". When the good got here, beef curry was inedible - beef was pure rubber and stone cold. My wife ordered chicken fried rice with no sauce or gravy due to allergies and guess what, it was drowned in gravy. I mean swimming in it. Didn't matter though as it was stone cold too. What on earth has happened to this once great establishment??? Do NOT order food from here. Can not stress enough how poor it has been. Shame.

If you a pushed for time and can't go anywhere else then it's fine otherwise I would not recommend the food it's too bland they need to add more fresh interesting vegetables some of the meals I.e. chicken friend rice is just that, 2 ingredients. I've had much more knifed for the same price. Otherwise nice people who run it.

First time tried this takeaway as a birthday treat. Almost 2 hour wait for a delivery, took 2 phone calls to get order delivered though delivery time on website says 45-60 minutes. Food came so late that we literally choked on our dinner as we were running late. Food was lukewarm. Paid extra for mushrooms but got almost full tub of onions instead. Very disappointing. Will not be ordering again from this place

Superb Chinese takeaway! Excellent food and fast delivery. Would definitely recommend the sweet and sour chicken Cantonese style. Delicious.

My partners family owned this place before the current owners bought it. Since they took over, it's a pit of a place. Waited almost two hours tonight for food to arrive only for two of the three meals ordered, to be the wrong meals! Asked to speak to the manager and got the owner, his excuse "I only have one driver". No explanation at all as to why the duck and plum sauce was wset and sour or why the chicken fried rice was just fried rice. Avoid this place at all costs these days.

Best Chinese in Hamilton no exceptions, however gutted they no longer do there red curry sauce but it's still great

For starters, the cream of chicken soup is amazing, and a wide choice of meals mean you have plenty of choice. Food is 1st class and the staff are very attentive but not overbearing.

After some light refreshments in the establishment located next door which is also highly recommended, we stopped by for A brief snack, not realizing they were closing in 5 minutes, instead of not serving the man at the counter like usual came flying to the aid of the hungry in Hamilton and no care or consideration for his own working schedule he is the superman of the take a way world! I am shocked it doesn't have a review and will positively review it each time I go (around 23:30 each Friday!)
