Service with a smile would be nice. Rude, unfriendly staff. No please or thank you's. Food greasy as hell. Expensive for what it was. Won't go back.

Rubbish, very poor service, staff dont even want to listen on the call what customers want to say, rather they just said “we are closed bye”. Even I called during working hours. Called 2nd time still they said “told you we are closed bye”. They did not even bother to listen. Rubbish people amd poor staff.

I'll say this for it. Conveniently placed for the locals. That's it.

Our first visit and had the special curry with boiled rice. It was very nice. Cooked with good pieces of chicken not cubes, fresh mushrooms, onions and fresh pepper and not too greasy. Will be visiting again. Only complaint no card machine, cash only.

Most probably the best Chinese I’ve tasted and I’ve tasted a few in my 70 years ,their meals are top quality and their curry is nothing like you’ve tasted before ,and the whole family are really lovely and I’ve known them for a long time 30 years plus

Nice'n tasty but those portions are shrinking, not so the prices. No crispy duck & noticing less on the menu than many Chinese take aways these days.

Highly recommend this take away, it's been established a long time. Staff are pleasant and the food is even better. Would recommend phoning your order in advance.

Definitely one of the very best in the Pontypridd area but unusually don't deliver. Portions are getting smaller here, as everywhere, but prices stay the same or even increase. The portion of mushrooms for the price was very small indeed. However i thoroughly enjoyed the food.

Have used Wing wah many times over the years and while not the best it is competetive on price and what they do they do well. It's close to where i live which is handy as one major setback is that they don't deliver

Best cleanest Chinese takeaway in my opinion

Twice I had food here and twice it made me extremely ill

No prices on menu in take away + after ordering what I would usually order elsewhere the price was ridiculously expensive so I was expecting high quality food. This is far from what I got. The portions are tiny!!! Everything comes in the smallest foil cartons while they have the cheek to charge twice the price. The female behind the counter was EXTREMELY RUDE!! If this is how they treat their regulars then I'm surprised they have any customers at all. I'm gutted I gave them any money at all + I certainly wont be going back EVER! With regards to the actual food, as I stated earlier the portion sizes were tiny + we didn't even have enough for a decent meal for both of us..the food was also disgusting...I would definitely say that some of it had been warmed from previous days. Disgusting. Inedible in fact. Terrible terrible experience. BEWARE this take away! Complete + utter crap + their customer service was non existent..offensive + damn right rude. The people of Pontypridd deserve so much better than this. Dont give them your hard earned money.

Very expensive Chinese in comparison to most others in the area. Small portion sizes. No delivery option. Food is fresh and tastes good though.

We bought take away food for 3 and we were all disappointed with the quality. Without exception the food lacked taste and this was primarily because of low quality meat and limited ingredients in each dish, except boiled rice of course!

My brother called for a bag of chips and was treated badly. The member of staff was incredibly rude to him when he asked if they did large bags of chips. Apparently they only do one size which is extra small and they charged £1.50 for them. The chips were bloody awful and must have one & half small scoops of chips at best. They've officially lost our business going forward.

There are a dozen or more Chinese take away's with a 3 mile or so radius but this one of the best, in the top 3 maybe even number 1 but they don't deliver, such a shame! had chicken foo young tonight with chips & mushrooms. Chicken foo yung was just the right combo of egg, chicken, onions & peas, perfect. Mushrooms not too mushy or runny with fluid. On the negative side the portions are getting smaller, there wasn't a good portion of the foo yung or mushrooms. Tiny little foil trays only about 4 x 3 ins & 1.5 ins deep. Trays used to buy similar depth but about 6ins x 4ins. Not chep now for these sized containers i think. Upwards of £4 for the foo young & some £3 for mushrooms. The better value was the foo young but mushrooms very expensive for a small portion.

Was recommended by a friend , generally the food is very tasty , can't complain about the taste and quality of the food. Always piping hot and waiting around 5 minutes after the pick up time they quote , no problem as like I've said , food is piping hot. My only gripe is that it is quit expensive for the portion sizes , they are quite meagre. I've never had any issue with the staff.

La comida es demasiado grasiento y carece de sabor y que no ofrecen un servicio de entrega como en la mayoría de los otros sitios de comida para llevar. Su horario de apertura son también bastante raro.

Después de casi medio siglo en el planeta, honestamente puedo decir que este es el peor que he encontrado para llevar! Extremadamente caro comparado con otros para llevar comida China local. Muy bruscos grosero a medio camino a través de comercialización orden personal que te dejan de responder el teléfono y sal en la herida 2.56 y luego realizar el pedido teléfono en frente de la tuya!!!! Después de esperar una cantidad de tiempo inaceptable extremadamente finalmente un orden básico llegamos al llegar a casa me dí cuenta de por qué tardó tanto tiempo como todo estaba tan hecha la comida estaba bastante comestible. Pagamos mucho para llevar preparado el quemado hasta los perros no comer y mis perros no exigente! Para usar este para llevar utilizada hace 20 años y fue uno de los mejores! Cómo cambian las cosas! Steer claro gente!!

Los precios promedio para china para llevar. Buen servicio pero no demasiado hablador allí mientras espera. Bien comida sabrosa que así diría en mi top 5 de restaurantes chinos localmente. Sin duda merece la pena más visitas.

Tenía una toma lejos de aquí para mi mujer y yo ayer y aunque mi mujer disfrutó su curry de carne y arroz tengo que decir que me tenía que echar la mía cuando llegué a casa. Los fideos estaban bien, pero la carne en el mein la comida era similar a la especie de sliminess puedes conseguir con algunas carnes fruta en conserva. Se sentía grasienta, correoso y no tenía sabor. Se puede elegir entre mi comida completamente.

Will use this Chinese as a last resort.The staff just seem so miserable, they should be smiling as the prices here are a little higher than others in the area.Food is always a little bland and nothing to write home about, if others are open I'd recommend going somewhere else but if needs must then it will do.

Had a take away from here in june it was lovely and fresh not dry like some others in the area. Nice and clean for a takeaway and pretty quick. Curry was a little hot for me but then im a curry wimp. Enjoyed it though have had a few now and have not been disappointed

I have been visiting this take away for over 20 years and it used fo be top notch. Now however the food has become second rate at best, the curry is insanely hot and the chips are just a pale under cooked mess. What really annoys me is the attitude of the staff, its almost as if theyre doing me a favour by serving me and have the general impression that they would rather not have me there. They can be very nice to the people who they choose to be, but you would think this was still a top quality place who doesnt need the custom by the way they act. The mother is very nice but as for the rest of them i cant say ive ever be treated so badly in any other establishment and for such a consistantly long period of time. The royal oak is only a short distance away and has a full and varied menu who unlike wing wah also deliver and the food is delicious. They have now lost a life long customer due to pure attitude. They need to wake up and get with the times because there is a lot of very good competition about nowa days.

This takeaway was recommended by a friend. Very clean with a five star hygiene rating. Food was disappointing, rice and noodles were dry with little taste. Chips were undercooked. Curry sauce was too spicy. Not likely to visit again.

must say this is a brilliant Chinese. It is always busy have tried others in the area but this has got to be my favourite. The food is a bit pricey but well worth it. I always ring up and order as sometimes there is a wait.

The food was all colourless, sloppy, and we're pretty sure the chicken wasn't chicken. Ew. Pretty sure we paid too much for what we got. The lady behind the till was very nice, unlike the food.

We used to use this take away at least once a week.. but I got fed up of how rude the chinese staff are when you ring for a take away order.... My advice ring Yummy Kitchen on the Broadway Trefforest.... much friendly staff.... much cheaper and quality of the food exactly the same :-)

Superb take-away which is very popular. The staff are well organised and completely in control even in busy times. Everything they make is consistant and tasty. My only critisism is that there isn't a great variation of meals. They have all the usual meals but I would like to see some more spice. Another plus is that its always spotless as you'd expect.
