Peking City Takeaway Restaurant in Rhondda Cynon Taf

We had some of those all in one trays, and they were completely filled!!!! It was more than enough, great value for money. The best chicken balls I have ever had too, they were large and full of chicken. Would recommend.

I oredered a slice of cheese cake it was frozen solid.. and the chicken balls i didnt eat because they weren't cooked enough looked very pink inside . Everything else was lovely.

Absolutely gorgeous as usual! The beef in the black bean sauce was melt in the mouth and not too spicy. My new favourite!!

lush hot food and quick delivery, especially for a Saturday

Food was early, usually great food from there..but rice was dry, noodles like rubber and crispy shredded beef was so chewy, not crispy. Not happy considering it was ‘early’

Without doubt the best Chinese food I’ve ever eaten. I am a loyal customer and don’t purchase from anyone else. Gorgeous. Their pancake rolls are to die for. Thank you guys xxx

First time ordering here (they may have had an off night), but we didn’t enjoy the food unfortunately.

used to love this place but in the last 2 years the prices have increased to unbelievable prices and a bit extortionist. Also the chips are frozen and i didn't mind when they were cheaper but I'm not paying all that for frozen chips. also Yung chow fried rice isn't special fried rice and the last 3 times i ordered a pancake roll its been like mush.im afraid I've found a better place that makes lush Chinese food and the prices are reasonable.bye bye

We normally order from here without a problem. Sadly tonight it wasn’t the best. Chicken balls tasted “smoky” and the satay sauce was a bit gloopy. Rice, chips and noodles were all perfect along with the crispy shredded chicken.

I ordered here because it was the closest that uses an app so I don't need to call and speak to anyone, which I hate. When I first started ordering their food was actually quite nice but something has happened over the past couple months where it's just not as good but because of the convenience of it I've continued to order from them regularly until now. However, last time I ordered my order had a missing item so I felt I had to call having spend what I allowed myself to out of my usually weekly budget and clearly didn't get my money's worth. They were rude and dismissive on the phone. Young Girl with a stinking 'wish I was anywhere by here' attitude insists that everything was packed into the bag so I have received everything. Obviously just her saying that doesn't make the missing item just appear, so I again state that I've received everything except for this one item. There was a back and forth as though she was trying to argue that the order that I had in front of me was including an item that I did not have in front of me. Clearly not believing that I was telling the truth which made me feel very uncomfortable, especially because I don't like to call in the first place so having called them to mention that the item was missing in the first place was a lot for me. After a few minutes of effectively being bullied, eventually they said will refund you for that item and I said OK then we ended the call. I've had nothing since so clearly that was just to get me off the phone and probably still convinced I got full order and had nothing better to do than to call and pretend 1 item was missing while the rest of my food went cold and ensure such a painful phone call with Miss I-couldn't-care-less as well as wasted that few extra pound that I got nothing for. Paying what I usually pay with delivery and service fees is usually only worth it if I get the full meal for 2 I ordered, otherwise I feel like the excitement of payday went to my head and I've wasted money because now I'm in a bad mood eating warm mediocre food. Anyway, that was the final straw for me and was going to switch to a different type of takeaway. Thankfully, a new Chinese takeaway even closer to me has recently appeared so I can just switch to them. Hopefully it's not them just under another name, as there are 2 "restaurants" on the apps that I've realised recently have the same address so just them down twice and charge a little more on one of them which is ridiculous and feels like some kind of mild fraud to me, or at least, I feel a bit cheated. I went from thinking they are OK and my easiest option so not bothering looking elsewhere to strongly disliking them and won't be giving them anymore of my money after how they made me feel on that phone call. Yes, that may seem extreme to some but I've ordered from them regularly with no issues on my or their end, then for them to accuse me of lying and demean me like that, I feel it's justified. I will not be recommending to any friends or locals, if asked about it, I'd be warning against and recommend the new place I've found instead! I hope to never have to deal with them or any other name they trade under again.

The chicken balls were missing and I was charged for them. is it possible.yo get a refund for the item that didn't arrive with the rest of the food. Very satisfied with the rest of the food

Usually good food but lately quality has gone downhill. Curry sauce was so sweet it was inedible, and came out of the pot in one gelatinous lump when trying to pour onto my plate. Foo yung was barely cooked and swimming in oil. Disappointing meal

I always order from here and sadly food wasn't the best maybe a 1 off but it was very late I ordered around 8pm said it would arrive 850pm-905pm then 920pm called for update as said was delivered further 15mins added finally received it at 945pm apple pie was cold an soggy and chips were all soggy as well omelette was nice

Usually love this place but had food last night delivered and was awful the sauces were different to what we normally have tasted horrible the beef was chewy and overcooked and hardly any of it if im honest on top of that the delivery girl kicked and smashed one of my milk bottles in the garden and not so much as a sorry would you like me to clean it up glass all in my husbands work shoes and i have young children here who can hurt themselves disrespectful much?

Took very long to usual and the sauces were different not very nice at all tbh and the beef was not only chewy overcooked but there was hardly any of it to what we usually have very dissapointed

the rice was very dry hardly any bbq sauce and the meat on the top was rock hard couldn't it eat. it's normally lovely but not today. very disappointed

Portions are too big, An ideal size would be approximately 3/4 of the current portion. The meals we ordered were approximately £8 a portion and a reduced portion size could be perhaps £1.50 cheaper.

everything was amazing apart from the chicken balls the chicken tastes funny when i bit into it as if the chicken was gone off before use but other than that everything was beautiful

First home delivery and meal. One of the best Chinese takeout I’ve ever had. Speed of delivery on a Saturday night during rush hour was still first class, 20 minutes early than suggested when ordered. Portions were on the large size but not a bad thing and all delivered hot.

Totally unhappy with our order. Received two PLAIN chow meins, however only 1 plain had been ordered and the other normal. We called the restaurant to explain the mix up, we then had terrible customer service and an argumentative response with no offer to refund or simply replace the wrong item. We will never order from here again due to careless and and poor attitude towards customers as well as incorrect order.

Got my order wrong then argued with me over the phone that it was right. Wont order from here again. Attitude on the phone to customers is disgusting.

Not very nice unfortunately. Food was cold, chicken balls were ok but the chips, rice and pancake roll were inedible . Waste of £30 😣

ordered 3 items, got 1 extra, nice of them, however the fries weren't crispy at all and were lukewarm, kind of tasted like microwaved - not very good. The crab nuggets as I like to call them were delicious, crispy and warm and the prawn crackers were crispy and delicious too :)

food was ok. paid £5 for a bottle of diet coke, when it arrived it was 3 cans of diet coke instead... £5 for 3 cans is ridiculous! prices are crazy there!

Not sure how early my food arrived, but it was much earlier than the given time. The food was lovely as usual. However, I thought that I had ordered pineapple egg fried rice. Therefore, when I received mushroom fried rice, I originally thought a mistake was made, but it was my mistake as I meant to click on the pineapple fried rice. Still, I was happy with the mushroom fried rice. Thanks.
