The best restaurants in United Kingdom serving Chinese food

The restaurant was small. The meal was not satisfactory and the meat does not look like chicken. I wonder if they cook real chickens?

Very impressed with the cleanliness of the premises plus good hot food. The dishes were piping hot and the chips were lovely and crispy. Walked in off the street and didn't have long to wait until the takeaway was ready.

This newly reopened Chinese takeaway in Hertford is highly recommended. We were very sorry to see it go earlier this year, but the reincarnation is even better. The menu has been brought more up-to-date. With some spicier dishes included. The portions are excellent and the ingredients high-quality. Don’t hesitate to give it a try.

While staying away for a family break we decided to have a night off cooking and got a takeaway from here as it was recommended in the cottage information pack. Wow! In comparison to our local Chinese takaways in Cambridge it was sooo much better. Great big portions, in fact I thought they’d got the duck wrong and given us 1/2 instead of 1/4. Very tasty and piping hot, even after the 10 minute drive back.

Great meal asked for it extra hot and was brilliant 👍👍will deffo be going again. Great service great food and a great price

Having avoided Chan's for almost two years since moving here after listening to other people, we decided to give it a try. I can not fault it. Ordered online and walked down to collect as we don't live far, the food was ready as I walked in. Very generous potion sizes, we ended up having too much food. The prawn crackers are the best I've ever had and one bag contained enough for three people. All of the food was well cooked and the flavours were lovely. I can't believe I left it this long to try but I will certainly be a regular customer there from now on.

The change of hands has not been a smooth thing. This has been our takeaway of choice for the last 19 years but after 2 poor meals from the new owners we are going to look for a new takeaway The chef was supposed to have worked with the old owners for a couple of months but would appear to have ignored everything he was shown. Poor portion sizes and food that did not taste as before. Salt and chilli spare ribs saw 1/3 of the dish being onion and peppers. Egg Foo Young was burnt, had a load of water in the base and resembled scrambled eggs Both meals were poor and disappointing and for the prices charged we will be going elsewhere

CLOSED... we had reservation for u Qq at 18.30... was confirmed online yesterday and a txt reminder received today but on arrival it is closed. Chairs on tables and lights off.

What a disappointment the food was, all went in the bin, mushy pink chicken balls, noodles and rice tasted vile like toothpaste. Absolutely inedible

Information…! Ordered here before so decided to order again… Had a large order to call through for delivery (£50+) no one answered… kept calling and eventually someone picked up, but then put the phone down… which happened a few times…states everywhere it was supposed to be open, even their own website…!!!! won’t be ordering again..!

The food is good but too much msg. Just got new menu price are very expensive £5.30 for a portion of fried onions come on. I know foods and gas are expensive but it’s an onion and a wok. The staff never smile

Ordered a delivery to Portmeirion, on a Friday evening. Great communication about delivery time, very prompt delivery after ordering. Excellent food, beautiful king prawns, all really tasty and still really hot when we got it back to our motorhome. Would definitely use again - thank you 😃

So i do not venture out when it comes to food ! Couldnt be bothered to go miles so went to my local !! Lets start Had chicken satay skewers , unfortunately not to my taste as they were fried and not in sauce ! Battered mini spring rolls (banging with bbq sauce ) Chicken in black bean - full of flavour chicken was perfect , nothing worse than hard chicken !! Was so tender and juicy , sauce great consistency plenty of it ! Chicken in satay same as above ! Chips nicely salted Bbq sauce nice and thick lots of flavour ! I would of gave it 5 but unfortunately the skewers werent for me ! Good quality food for a good price !! Young lady server was very friendly too !! I imagine it would be pleasant eating in
