Lovely food clean tasting and not greasy like some!

We stayed in Fakenham over Easter 2025 and ended up getting a takeaway from New World Chinese twice – it was that good! The food was freshly cooked and full of flavour, and everything we ordered tasted great. The staff were really friendly and helpful, which made the whole experience even better. Would definitely recommend if you’re in the area and fancy a good Chinese.

Shop definitely has no frills look to it...however would highly recommend the food...it was very delicious & good prices. It's not on my side of town but would highly recommend and will visit again when over that way for sure!!

¡Me quedé cabreado por no llevar puesto con amigos ya que me hubiera encantado probar tantos platos más! Tenía hambre, pero no quería comida tradicional escocesa y necesitaba un cambio. Langostinos con anacardos era tan bueno! Tenía cebolla y unos pimientos en una salsa marrón. Pedí un poco de arroz blanco y pedí un poco de aceite de chile para agregar un poco más de sabor. ¡Qué bueno!

Mis colegas y yo siempre celebramos el Año Nuevo Chino en Dumpling House, y anoche fue otra gran cena. Las albóndigas eran excelentes, y el nuevo plato, japchae con verduras, era encantador. Gracias también por acomodar las alergias de mi colega.

We really enjoyed our meal here. The restaurant was warm and welcoming. Service was quick and friendly. We enjoyed the Mutton Dosa and would come again to order this or another Dosa. The chicken curry was very tasty but quite small. Didn’t mind that. Overall the food was delicious and would happily return

Pequeño lugar super lindo! Mi compañero y yo probamos los bollos de bai y una boba de fresa. ¡Ambos eran encantadores! Jovencita trabajando allí era encantador y agradable también. Definitivamente inténtalo si estás caminando a través de la ruina.

My family and I were looking for a good Chinese food place and this was rated 4.5 but we weren’t impressed at all. The noodles tasted burnt probably due to the pans being burnt. Nice people but food wasn’t that great.

**Great Wall Restaurant, Salisbury** Our usual Chinese takeaway was closed due to a fire, so after hearing great things about The Great Wall in Salisbury from friends, we decided to give it a try. Although we pre-ordered our food, we still had to wait 20 minutes for it to be ready. When we got home, the food was reasonably hot. At first glance, it looked appealing and smelled decent. However, as we started serving it, we noticed how greasy everything was. We initially brushed this off, thinking that Chinese food can sometimes be a bit greasy. Unfortunately, after just a few bites of my Chicken Chow Mein, I had to stop eating because it was overwhelmingly greasy and ended up throwing it away. My partner had the Singapore special fried rice with curry sauce, and he also had to stop eating and discard his meal. Both of us are now feeling queasy from the excess fat and saltiness in our dishes. It’s a shame because the reviews suggest that this is a good restaurant and it was quite busy. We also had positive recommendations from friends. However, I suppose it depends on what you’re accustomed to. Our regular Chinese food is never this greasy, and we've never ended up throwing it away. Unless you're used to this level of greasiness, I would recommend finding another place to eat.

My wife and I just had a takeaway from Azalea. BBQ ribs, salt & pepper squid, chilli bean sauce with prawns, cashew nuts in yellow bean sauce with prawns. It was delivered on time and all dishes were excellent. Even the prawn crackers were better than average. We have had a few from this restaurant before and they have all been good, but this was the best and we thoroughly enjoyed it. Highly recommended.

I’ve been going to this Chinese for nearly 40 years, the people are really nice and the food is excellent, five stars I would give more but 5 is maximum

Absolutely terrible service. Do not order from this place. Have sat in for 1 hour waiting for my delivery which I expect delivered to my door to be called by the rudest guy telling me to go out to his car to find him on the road in the freezing rain. So annoyed about the arrogance of the call and the wait. Needless to say I cancelled the order and won’t ever be ordering again.

Lovely’s is the best Chinese Takeaway in the whole area. The food is always absolutely scrumptious 😋 and really well priced. Mrs Lovely behind the counter is amazing. She takes orders over the phone, repeating the order at the end so no mistakes. At the same time she’s greeting customers when they come in and giving out orders that she also checks. Really efficient and so friendly. Thank you so much.
